i made this last year with pastels- a "remake" of degas' four dancers. the fourth dancer looks a bit distorted, but yeah, it happens.

Would look better without the white dots, but those are hard to get rid of with pastels (i suggest painting).
The dancers are also supposed to be the main focus of the picture, yet it seems as if they are just another part of the landscape (another piece in a big chess game). They need to be a tad larger or the surrounding area needs to be smaller (or both). A little work on shading would help more. The arm length, head size and mainly proportions of the dancers went well (arms a little too small).

But that was then, you're probably better now. Good art.
