I may not be a photographer like the amazing Manisha, but I have always wanted to try a challenge like this one! So I have started it, with prompts for every day. And um, there might be matching poetry as well. We'll see how long this lasts ^.^

Day 3 Theme: Your garden on a spring day Title: Some sort of world out there Matching Poem:
There must be some sort of world out there - outside the green gates that cage me here.
Someplace where the birds disappear to over the wall. Bring back worms and shiny things from all the countries of the world.
Someplace where I am free to be myself, and reach beyond the capacity forced onto me - and my own shiny wings allow me to fly
away.
Trust in God and all else follows.

Day 4 Title: I believe (Ik Geloof) Theme: No prompt used. Matching Poem:
I believe in the act of being submerged in the waters of my faith and washing away the darkest of stains, to be born anew.
in the consumption of a body to make us all one – a lenient shoulder to rest our souls for time eternal.
in the smearing of blood from my Saviour on my body, into my skin, soaking through my heart. To feel the bleeding pain that we thrust upon him.
Oh yes, I do – believe.

Day 6 Theme: Done without a prompt Title: Lay Me Down Matching Poetry:
The desk explodes in colour. The sinking sun; a vibrant rose, a single shooting star.
Press my backbone into the grainy wood, where metal circles soothingly click to my wrist. An unforgettable disease.
Scrape molten lead along my skin. Brush dust like kisses into my memory.
Succumb me, mold me, be my teacher and pin new knowledge to my brain.
Trust in God and all else follows.

Day 8 Theme: No prompt used (I have not being using them at all lately... oops...) Title: Skin as hard as stone Matching Poetry:
My skin is made of hard stone.
Cool to the skin and protected from the elements of...
the weather the catcalls you.
My final breath was taken too long ago to remember.
But now I cannot drown; safe from the hate of...
my parents my "friends" you.
I gave you my everything but you stripped me of my layers.
Now there is nothing left but the...
pain and hurt and stone.
Trust in God and all else follows.

Day 9 Theme: No Prompt Used Title: Two wheels and a journey to anywhere Matching Poetry: Take me anywhere the four leaf clovers frolic through the fields and luck lingers in the air.
the sun sprinkles kisses soothing on my skin and swells as it sinks us in heat.
the music melts into my bones and mingles with my mind, each note a naughty noise to my ears.
and this two-wheeled bike can roll our hearts down the hill and into our oblivion of promises, happiness and joy.
Trust in God and all else follows.

Day 10 Theme: No Prompt Used Title: Catching Sunlight Matching Poetry: None Sunlight slips between my dainty fingers and illuminates my skin. As the rays stretched towards my face to push corners into smiles my heart swells as I let the light in.
I saw colours; detailed hues of greens, greys and purples: purple like the underside of lonesome year-old rocks - grey like the wool of my neighbours commonly-worn jumper - green like the unwashable cheese stain on the table top.
And I closed my palm to catch the dancing sunlight, let it stretch between my fingertips and drift into the clouds.
I couldn't catch my breath - so I caught sunlight instead.
Trust in God and all else follows.

Day 11 Theme: No Prompt Used Title: Skin as hard as Stone II Matching Poetry: My skin is dry and cracks so I cast it off and away like the clean sheets of papers; ideas to my dreams.
Shrouded in darkness I let the coolness caress my edges that are rough. Help me blend amongst the other groups...
Bones breathing to their accordance limbs pushing forwards and striving for the truth. Because all hard things can break, but not all are flexible like me.
(I'll cast off this skin to make it soft. Though it may hurt the freedom shall be endless.)
Spite can slash into my skin they can laugh; they can jear
but in the end there can be no skin better polished than my own.
Trust in God and all else follows.

Day 12 Theme: No prompt used Title: Even admirers see your secrets Matching Poetry: Even admirers see through your paper thin secrets.
You hold them up with bent back fingertips,
but we who examine and pry with our eyes see.
Your little hoard of promised rings torn
away from the fingers that ever since wore them. Missing.
The nights of sweet nothings whispers dissolved into the air.
And the love us admierers hold, hold us distant from you.
It's time you learned to fill the gaping holes and perfect
the mask that we all hide behind for self-preservation.
Because admirers don't want secrets - we want your arms around us.
Trust in God and all else follows.

Day 14 Title: Toshiba Theme: Your Computer Matching Flash Fiction (doing something different. References to computer-related things in here ) Toshiba was a funny sort of princess.
She had dresses that clung to her skin in the darkest shade of black and shimmered like a sheen of sweat. She embroidered her letters onto the hem, stamping out in silver T.O.S.H.I.B.A.
Everyone knew who she was and who she belonged to. Of course, she couldn't own herself;princesses had kings to sell them off to the highest bidders.
So instead of being a free woman she was forever plugged in to the castle.
She went running through other people's libraries and buried her nose so deep into their problems she almost could believe she didn't have any of her problems.
Toshiba was good at minimizing tabs that the King set on her. Good at closing windows to keep them from overhearing. Good at going incognito.
Toshiba was living a cliche.
And like a cat chasing a mouse, it clicked.
