Oh, and I'm still not great at drawing feet so if you're trying to learn how to do those, this would not be the area to learn from xD.

First step: Make a base!
The base is important when trying to figure out good proportioning ^_^. You usually don't get that wonky arm or the leg thats too long when you try to plan out the pose of your pieces before you jump into features and what not!

Second step: Erase unnecessary lines!
All those structural lines can be a hassle later on so erase what you don't need now and you'll have a relatively nice body shape without any details. Thats the fun part though ;D.

Third step:
Add some features!
This is not only a time to bring some life to those said characters, but also of adjusting and fixing what may not have looked so pretty in the structural step. So, add some features and you'll start to have an interesting drawing!

Fourth step: Add some clothes xD
You don't want your character to be naked! So try and be as realistic as possible. Think of the body and where there may be lumps and bumps. Clothing should drape, not jut out in random places. I suppose this is a bad choice for clothing xD but it gets my point across enough!
This is also the time to fix up and adjust

The last step would be to shade! Give the body more than just a line-art look. It'll be more rounded and realistic!
I also did a male version so this would be it

There you have it!
