HI, so this is one of my first attempts at photography. Please tell me what you think of them. I think I can handle harshness. So here they are.

Wow. I really liked your photos! You have a awesome style!

Just a couple of things that my - limited - photographic side told me!

"Old Lamp" was excellent - maybe a sepia filter would look cool?

I LOVED "Artificial Flower" - it was so pretty, and at first glance looked totally real.

"Candle" was good, but I don't usually go for straight, obvious photos of objects. I much preferred "B & W Candle" as it was beautifully abstract! I really liked the angle and filter - great shot.

Try taking interesting angle photos - you're good at it!

Keep photographing!

Hey Pudin!

Ok, I love the way you've put the first picture in black and white - really emphasizes the oldness (sp?) of the lamp. And the angle you've taken it from means that it isn't to boring either.
I love the flower! Love it! Well done!
The candle doesn't work for me, it's just a candle. Nothing too interesting about the angle or anything. Maybe you could try taking it from a birds eye view or something?
The last one isn't my favourite either, you can't see that much on it, so it's a little vague and boring.
Good work!

Hi Pudin!

I love your pictures. I really like any pictures with this kind of style.

Lamp: Your hand was a little shaky so the bottom of the pictures blurred a little. But the angle works, it makes it look like some sort of memory flashback to older times. I don't know, that's what I get from this picture. The B&W works nicely too, though sepia, as AquaMarine mention, would make it quite interesting too.

Artificial Flower: The flower is a really pretty shot. Very very pretty dearie! Thant angle and the way the flower doesn't cover the entire picture makes it subtly beautiful.

Candle: I don't like this one as much. There is too much going on in the background with the bench and purple flowers that draw the eye away from your focus point. And well it's a little boring, I don't really enjoy this one as much

B&W Candle: This one is a lot prettier, the light background makes it really pop! It's very pretty.

Now things to remember:
The entire picture matters. Consider the background, the reflective light, the filter colour (B&W, Sepia, Colour) And test out the same thing with different filters, lighting and background until you find one that is just right. That's the beauty of still life photography, it will stay the same until you need it too move.

Great job dearie! And keep posting!

That's pretty good for your first try. You have a good understanding of how to place your focal points. The only issue I see is with the old lamp. The white curl at the bottom of it is the focal point because it stands out, and it's a little too close to the center. Other than that, good job.

hi pudin...this is awesome for your first try to photo...

the rose series, i really like especcially the the colours have different palette of red and pink. AS well, i like the focus of the candle light becasue i can see the hair-like stuff at the top...really good...

however, the first picture is a little blurry especcially at the bottoma nd the shot type of it is not much good...it should be better if its down on high angle shot...personally

Hey there! :)

I loved "Old Lamp", it was one of my favorites. But it goes sort of straight down the picture. Maybe try angling it to one side?

The "Artificial Flowers" is really nice. The color really stands out against the muted background.

"Candle" wasn't my favorite, but when I looked at it a second time I thought it was cool how it had metal leaves around it, and in the background, the purple flower looked sort of real. So I liked how there were fake objects next to "real" objects.

I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to look at "B & W Candle", but something about it still is really cool. Maybe all the different shapes? I like the black-and-white setting for it, too.

these photos are really really good.

I like the 'B&W candle' the best, and the 'Artificial Flower' looks totally real!

Beautiful pictures!
My favorite has got to be old lamp because of the odd angle and that it's black and white. It was a little blurry though.
Artificial Flower looks really real, and I like the color of the background. Except for that black thing in the back it was genius.
I think I like B&W candle better than the regular one because of the angle and the colors.
Hope I was of some help.
Keep up the good work!

Hi Juni! I'm here, to give a not so helpful review!

So, let's see

'Old Lamp'... I liked it, but I think the angle, while interesting, makes the lamp a bit... flat. Scratch that, uninteresting it's more like it. I liked how you took the color out, and I agree with the other reviewer that said a sepia filter would look good, give it a more vintage feeling.

The flower that is next is cute. The crack or wood thing behind it, it is a bit distracting so without it the photo would look better. Other than that, cute ;)

All I can say about the candle is... hairy xD It has some hairy things on the top but I like the angle/perspective.

And the other picture of the candle is my favorite :) It makes me feel as if it was a classic picture, it whispers secrets and stories to me. <-- Crazy, but it does.

So, hope I've helped!
