They're actually not black and white... The color option is called cyanotype - it's more blue-ish. I think they're cool. :D Also, I took these right after it rained.

Image
1) Pretty lilies

Image
2) Black-eyed Susans, I think?

Image
3) Flowers that I forget the name of.

Image
4) Another nameless flower and a path.

Image
5) I know it's blurry, but no matter how many times I took this photo, I couldn't make the blur disappeare >.<

Image
6) Another lily and some trees.

Image
7) A cool-looking pool of water on a lily pad.

Image
8) A very awesome butterfly thingy.

1. While I like this, I think the angle could have been different. You could try to crop some things out?
2. I love this one. However, crop out the left side. Mess with the contrast if you can, too. :D
3. There is nothing I would change about this. Wonderful. :D
4. I love the path that is here. However, I think that the blurry thing in the center ruins it. I do love that path though. ;D
5. I don't like this one...it's my least favorite. The main focus is kind of the flower...but it's too blurry. The clear part is the leafs and they're eaten up. Not a favorite. However! Try and mess with the contrast...darken of lighten it. Who knows?
6. Just crop the flower out and this is great. I love the tree. The flower just gets in the way. However, in the same token it adds something. I could go either way on this, really.
7. Absolutely love this one, Ellie! It's so...liquidy. xD
8. Eh. It's a sculpture thing. I think you should go back and mess with the angle your camera is at. Test new things. ^_^

Well, you wanted a fast review! xD

Anyway, I liked some of these a lot, keep it up!

Hey Ellie!

I really like the cyanotype; really cool effect there-- sort of gives a cold tone to these.

I love the first shot of the lilies. At first glance, they appeared frozen, which I found really cool. Only thing that could improve in this shot is the focus-- we're not totally looking at anything specific.

Love the black-eyed susans. The cyan makes everything look frozen. Love the closeness of it, and it has a neat focus, Ellie.

Hydrangeas! My favorite! Though this doesn't have a superb focus, dear, it's beautiful. I like it. :)

I would have liked to see more of the path here, but it's good, nonetheless. I like the way it leads in and leads out; nice touch there.

I'm not sure if you did, but on the next one, you should have used a macro mode. It would have eliminated the blur and focused more on the foreground than background. Nevertheless, cool shot.

I love number 6, Pen! It's really good. The rain drops on the flower give a beautiful touch to this, and the fact that the tree isn't blurry in the back gives an incredibly great touch to this. Beautiful.

The puddle on the lily pad is okay, but it's a bit hard to find the focus, dear.

I like the butterfly thing, too! Again, if you had used a macro here, to blur out the background, I think it would have a more creative feel to it. Great photo, though!

Excellent work, Eliza! You're pretty good! :)

Hey Pen, GPS here. First off, I'd like to say that my favorite is the Black-eyed Susan one. I don't know why, it just is.

Picture 1. I like this, but you could have it at a different angle.
Picture 2. This one is my favorite, but I think it's a bit off-center.
Picture 3. This one is nice, but I think it could be sharpened a bit.
Picture 4. This is probably my second favorite. I think you could sharpen the flower some, but other than that I love it.
Picture 5. Third favorite. I love how the drops stand out.
Picture 6. This one is really cool too. I don't have anything else to say about it.
Picture 7. Different angle maybe? I don't know, but this one doesn't look right.

First picture review ever, so sorry if it was bad.

These pictures are amazing, really. I think it is true that you could create a bigger impact if you review the angle the pictures were taken at and cropped out some irrelevant parts to the picture. I do however love the colours, I think that blue is a cold solitary colour, that you wouldn't really associate it with those kind of pictures and that it could have went terribly wrong. However it didn't go wrong and the colour makes it unique instead of just a normal picture of a flower, etc. Good work I want to see more!!! :D

Wow these are really beautiful
If you added a black boarder around them in photoshop or something
they'd look really good!
I like the monochromatic theme in this set.
I think if you cropped them down a little and changed a few angles they'd look superb!
btw, the fourth one is my favorite!

wonderful work!!

Amazing.

I really loved how close up you took the pictures. It adds a whole new realm of depth to the flowers. I also like how the pictures are in black and white. Personally, color sometimes takes away beaty from a picture. It just gets to be too much. So, i like the black and white. Great job, and keep up the great work!

Flower photography! With water! I wanna see, I wanna see!

1) My absolute favorite of the bunch. The blue tint to the photograph is just so perfect for this.

2) I like the gradient color fade of the petals. Quite lovely.

3) Pretty, but the way some of the flowers are just a bit blurry makes my eyes hurt as they try to focus to compensate.

4) Oooh, pretty. I would have loved to seen a bit more of the path in the picture, to make it more of a location shot than just the flower, but it is pretty nevertheless.

5) The blur is a wee bit distracting, but I like the petal that's on the leaf below.

6) My second favorite. I loved the clear division of the shot. There's just something about it... *thumbs up*

7) Probably actually in a tie with 6 for my second favorite. I like the simplicity. (Also, it makes me think of The Land Before Time.)

8 ) Kinda seems out of place among the others except for the color. Probably my least favorite. The sculpture thingy itself is kind of cute, but the picture seems rather bland.

Lovely though! Me likies very much!
