I was bored one day and decided to do a sketch of my favorite Bond girl. I had finished it before, but a few days ago redid almost her whole face, and I think it turned out well! I didn't realize how smudgy the background was, but oh well. Please rip it apart as much as you like. All comments welcome!

"I'd rather be hated for being who I am, then loved for who I'm not."
Because this is a drawing of an actual character, I had to look up who in the world Vesper Lynd is. (I have to admit, I‘ve never seen a single Bond movie.) After comparing your picture to the images that I found, I have to say that this has a great resemblance to Eva Green when she portrayed the character and that’s really cool.
Still, as you mentioned, there is a lot of smudging in the picture. Sometimes it best to get the picture down once with all the smudges and fixes, and then take the time to draw it again, smudge free once you know exactly how you want to draw it.
As far as the drawing goes, there are some things that aren’t the greatest. For starters, her chest is quite crooked. Also, her arm seems quite wide at the top and then terrible narrow at the bottom. Try and even it out. Obviously, an arm is a bit wider on top but it doesn’t taper this much before the elbow. And then there is the chin. It seems just a little too pointy in my opinion.
Lastly, I would recommend really darkening specific lines. For instance, in the hair, you can’t really see the detail that you did because the line where her bun starts mixes so well into the rest of the hair. Darkening that line would make the hair more distinct. Also, the lips almost disappear into the smudging. Applying just a little more pressure to the pencil would make it more distinct.
I hope I wasn’t too harsh. If you have any questions, just PM me.

Never forget who you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.
Ok, review time, and beware haha I am mad that I was almost finished with this review and it erased grrr.
Anyway first of all I have no idea who she is so I am going to go from an artist point of view ok.
Her eyes are pretty, but the one on the right is a bit weird. I think it you made the inside a bit more to the edge, and made the pupils a bit bigger, it would look better.
Next it the nose. It looks a bit awkward. It takes a unnecessary curve up.
The ears! Ok I think they are a little far back. Maybe it is just the was she is turning.
The hair. I love it, but at the very top it recedes a lot. I think if you pulled it down just a little it would look better.
Her mouth. It is just gorgeous! I can't even draw them like that darlin.
Her arm looks a bit big.
Her chest looks small on one side and big on the other. It gives it a bad look.
The only other thing that I have is that it is smugy and I don't like that.
I do like this with a little work.
Keep Drawing

My reality comes to a close as I once again realize that you don't love me, and even if I love you with my everything you will never care.
This is...okay. It's not perfect and it's not horrible. I love her nose and her lips and the way her back is curved. Now for the bad parts...Her breasts are awkward. One is bigger than the other and since it's a side view the one closest to you should be the bigger one while the one farthest should be slightly smaller. Her hair makes her seem that her head is big. And her eyes...the farthest one is on her face fully when it shouldn't look like that. The way you sketched her face, I would of recommended that you twisted her neck and drew her face looking at you. That would of been easier on your part. Well besides that, nice job. Keep sketching.
You're more than wonderful More than amazing The irreplaceable Love of my life You're so incredible In these arms tonight The irreplaceable Love of my life
Iv'e seen a few Bond movies in my time, but i couldn't recall this character. So after i googled her, i thought id write a short review-
Well the positives-
1. She looks really sophisticated! The way you captured this is excellent.
2. Her nose is spot on. I cannot draw noses at all, they always look too big, too small or some strange shape , but you can draw them pretty well **envy-glare**
3. Her left eye (my left) is really well drawn, it looks quite realistic.
4. Her accessories add a classy feel to this picture
5. She actually looks like Vesper Lynd. Thats a compliment in its self.
The negatives-
1. The smudgy background does take away from what you have achieved with drawing Vesper Lynd.
2. Her right eye is a bit wonky, but im sure that could be quite easily fixed.
3. Her body proportions are a bit off, but again, it could be easliy fixed.
All in all, well done. This is pretty good, and you have a talent for drawing.
Keep it up!
I did fix the background, the body, and her arm; her right eye is not like that when you are looking at the real drawing. (My scanner did some funny things to it ) Thanks for all the reviews, they have been really helpful! Feel free to post any small comments on it, every little bit helps!

Hey! I have no idea how to nit-pick a drawing, so I'll just say that it has a great resemblance to Eva Green. I was surprised to see that nobody really knew who she was. She is the best Bond-girl ever! Daniel Craig is the best Bond too, in my opinion. But anyway, great drawing.
P.S. I think it's kind of pointless to re-draw anything because of a few smudge marks. I was only looking at the picture, not the mess-ups around it.
P.P.S Where is your signature from? I know I've heard it before...

Wow its really good. I cant draw at all..so I like to look at drawings from people that can. Ha, I wish I could draw...but I suck at it... anyways keep up the good work...

Hey, I really liked this overall. Basically people already mentioned the things that kind bother me, her chest and such, but I really like the hair and the eyes. Eyes are my favorite things to draw and I liked how you drew them. But, her chin is a little to small for my liking, which kind of makes her face looked smooshed. If you kind of stretched her face down, it's be pretty perfect. I like the earings that you drew too. But another thing that bothered me was teh fact her got a lot smaller rapily haha, well that's all very scrambled, but I hope you know what I'm talking about.

It's not finished yet. Give your drawing more definition with stronger lines and put some more thought into shading.
The drawing looks smudged. Am I right in thinking you use a metal ring bound sketchbook? If so, you should look into buying a leather bound hardcover one. With the ring bound on the papers are loose and will move around and smudge your work. With the hardcover sketchbook the pagers are bound into the spine like a book, so when you carry it around the pages don't move around at all.

Okay um....um...i hope you wont kill me you guys, i don't know the language in this site so...her right boob is smaller than the left. *slaps knee and begins laughing* oh good. i got off my chest. *slaps knee again, laughing harder* pune not intended. Anyway her nose is awkwardly pushed up, and her hair is shaded too fuzily, and the rest of it is just AWESOME. i love the way she looks at you. kind of like -whatcha lookin at punk! I adore her poise. Skittles
