Here's one of my pencil drawing. I took a picture of this drawing, so the shading is a bit off and the paper is dark in one corner. (Sorry about that) Anyhoo, tell me what you think. (:

Hi there!

Wow this is really nice. I'm impressed. The shading is great! I really like it!

Some suggestions:

The girl's leg seems a lot thicker then the rest of her proportions. Her head is also seeming a little small.
Remember humans has surprisingly large heads when it comes to proportions

The boy's arms are unnaturally stiff.

But Otherwise! Great dear. Job well done. Work on your proportions love, it's the hardest to get right and comes with alot of practice.

Holy crap that is good! I love the detail and how they are so graceful looking! I can almost imagine them dancing across the page...actually moving! It was really good with the pencil shading and everything. I love that kind of dancing so I'd love it anyway! But it was so amazing! Great job and keep up the good work!

Hi!

That's a brilliant piece of art you've drawn. It's really good.
Besides, what the others have said, here's sonmething I'd like to add:
1)The waistband/ribbon of the girl seems to extend out of her body frame.
2)I love the arms. (details of them) I can never get them that well. Good job!
3)A little on the shading. No I'm not complaining that you took a photo. Well, for the girl, her tutu is lighter on the right but for the guy, it's darker on the right. Think about this next time you draw.
4)That's it I guess. Awesome, keep drawing!

That's very good. Clean lines, good use of shading to show texture, and all the proportions look right. But as good as it looks, from a professional standpoint it's only half done. Now you should start shading to give the drawing more depth. I used to suck at shading myself to tell you the truth, but my art teacher always told me never to be afraid of going too dark. Try making your darkest areas black and your highlights as light as you can make them. That alone can make your picture jump right off the page.

One more thing, try not to crumple your paper. It takes away from how good the drawing looks. Try keeping your drawings in a folder, or use a sketchbook. If you go for the sketchbook, I suggest going for the leather bound ones instead of the traditional metal ringed ones. With the metal rings the pages are loose, and when your carrying it around the pages move and brush against each other, smudging your work.

This is very good, I wish I could draw like that!!
Couple of things
-The guy's head seems a little small to me. In fact, both of them do.
- I'm not really sure where his arm behind her has gone. Surely you should she his fingers or hand holding onto her waist? Or just his arm extending behind her, other wise it seems a little short.

Other than that, I love this! Good work!

you captured the two very well. very good use of shading i might add. the boy, he's face is amazing! FYI-i suck at dudes.
OH!you have very good use of lines and maybe adding color over the pencil would make it look awesome! (My opinion don't have to listen to me...)
where the white is left, don't shade that in, but where the darker pencil is, take one or two colors and add it in. if you want to see what i'm talking about just look at my post(i haven't posted anything in art yet, but i'll try. the whole ratio thing-not that its a lot of work- gets in the way sometime...)

I agree with DreamsOfSorrow and you've mastered it 100%.

The lines could have been a bit softer but great anyway!

Congrats!
