Day 1 overview:

Only started writing late in the night, after 10PM when i finally figured out what I wanted to do for this NaNo.

Sitting at 1690 words at the moment.

Day 2:

More world building and a couple of smaller chapters. I'm really liking my MC, he seems cool. Found a way to slot this in in a reworked old fantasy world I wrote wayback when, and that gives me a ton of world building I'd already done, and a general plot that I always wanted to follow but never got around to.

I should mention that each chapter contains a recipe, whether that is a real world one, or a fantastical one, as the book is supposed to be a memoir and cookbook/recipe compendium of a famous chef.

Day 3:

Bit of a quiet day, some more world building, about to have our first traumatic moment. Fun!

I think the best thing about making it into the quote generator is when nobody tells you, so one day you're just scrolling and voila, some phenomenally inane thing that crawled out of your dying synapses and immediately regretted being born the second it made contact with the air has been archived for all time. Or worse, a remark of only average inanity. Never tell me when you've put me in the generator. Pride-tinged regret just doesn't taste the same without the spice of surprise.
