Okay I just want to say this is a ten minute play, that's why it's so short and it's for a contest so when/if you're reviewing it be your meanest xD and also if you have a better title suggestion I'd be happy to take it :) alright here goes:

(Sherrie is sitting in front of a cloth with Celtic symbols on it brewing animal parts, and herbs in a cauldron smoke rising from it)

Sherrie(voice over): I’ve never had any friends, I’ve always been the weird one, that no one cares about and everyone makes fun of. I don’t care anymore though, ever since I got into witch craft I can talk to spirits and they can be my friends.

(dim-out)

End of Scene 1

(School hallway Sherrie is walking alone ignoring the laughing people passing)

Sherrie: Or that’s what I thought until I met Damien

(A boy carried a backpack in one hand and reaching the other hand up to catch a football runs into Sherrie his bag falls and the contents spill. The foot ball bounces off the wall)

Sherrie: Oh I’m so sorry

(Sherrie kneels down and helps him pick up his things he has a cloth similar to the one she was using earlier she hands it to him)

Sherrie: your into witchcraft?

Damien: yeah, you too?

(Sherrie nods)

Damien: That’s so cool you’re the only other person I know who does. You want to come over to my house after football practice?

(Sherrie smiles and nods)

Damien: Cool

(he picks up the football and throws it another boy catches it and Damien runs off)

Sherrie: I never knew how much I needed a friend

(exits, Blackout)

End of Scene 2

(Sherrie and Damien are in his room the cloth and cauldron are out again)

Damien: What kind of spell do you want to do?

Sherrie: I don’t know, how ‘bout a rain spell?

Damien: Okay

( he pulls out a spell book and opens a small trunk)

Damien: Find eye of newt and rats tail the rest we already have out

(Sherrie pulls the two things out and they put them into the pot)

Damien: you read the Latin and I’ll read English okay?

Sherrie: ‘kay

(he puts the spell book in between them and they chant together)

Damien: First principle gather in this place. To make fit me your cry. First principle billow I to say you. To allow it is raining. This is my we so ford this to emerge.

Sherrie: Elementum recolligo huic locus. Commodo mihi vestri vox. Elementum unda ego dico vos. Permissum pluit. Is est meus nos sic vadum is exsisto

(they smile at each other as smoke rises from the cauldron. Blackout)

End of Scene 3

(A party at the football captains house everyone dancing, Sherrie and Damien dancing together)

Sherrie: I’ve never been at this big a party before

Damien: Well when you’re friends of the football team you get invited to all the best parties

Sherrie: to tell you the truth I’ve never been to any parties before

Damien: well that was before anyone knew who you were really are

(one of the football players whistles, comes over and hits Sherrie’s butt, Damien pulls Sherrie closer)

Damien: leave her alone

(the boy glares at Damien then goes back over to his friends)

Damien: ignore them they’re jerks

(they continue to dance, and talk as the rest of the football team talks on the other side of the room)

Player 1: We need to get Damien to do something to that girl

Player 2: Yeah, she’s such a dork

Player 3: I heard she believes in unicorns

Player 1: Yeah, and she takes Latin

Player 3: Lame

(they continue to pantomime as Damien and Sherrie talk)

Damien: You’ve never danced before?

Sherrie: no why? Am I making a fool of myself?

Damien: no you’re great

(they continue to dance, dim-out)

End of scene 4

(Back with the witch things Sherrie and Damien are looking through spell books)

Sherrie: we could do a truth spell

Damien: no! That’s lame

Sherrie: well what about flight or a dream spell

Damien: Let’s do a prophetic dream spell

(Sherrie hands him the spell book and they read it over getting the ingredients and putting them in the cauldron surrounding the cauldron with blue candle and lighting them)

Damien and Sherrie: Blessed be the Lord and Lady, For they created the world, The earth to hold, The sun to warm, The moon to guide, The spirit to dream. So mote it be.

(The smoke from the cauldron makes shapes and coils before evaporating)

Damien(whispering): come here

(Sherrie crawls over to him and Damien kisses her)

Damien: I just wanted to know what it would feel like to kiss you. I liked it

Sherrie: me too

(They kiss again. Dim-out)

End of Scene 5

(In the hall Damien and Sherrie are walking together)

Sherrie: guess what tomorrow is

Damien: what’s that?

Sherrie: my birthday!

Damien: really? Well happy birthday love

(they kiss quickly before Sherrie goes into her class then Damien walks over to the football team who are watching)

Player 2: why are you hanging out with that dork?

Damien: I have big plans for us

Player 1: I hope you mean what you think I mean

Damien: I won’t let you down bro

Player 2: so what’s your plan?

Damien: well tomorrows her birthday I have a little present for her tonight if she doesn’t like it I have back up

Player 1: are you going to explain this to us

Damien: I might but not now

Player 3: what the hell man? Make up your mind!

Player 4: chill dude

Damien: I’ll call you guys if I need you

(Damien exits, Blackout)

End of Scene 6

(In Sherrie’s room Damien and Sherrie are kissing he pulls away and starts to unbutton her blouse. Sherrie pulls back and re-buttons it)

Sherrie: Damien don’t do that

Damien: Sherrie come on it’s just like wearing a bathing suit

Sherrie: I don’t like bathing suits

Damien: Sherrie don’t you love me?

Sherrie: I could say the same to you

Damien: I just want to have you forever

Sherrie: then wait

Damien: I can’t wait now is part of forever

Sherrie: please stop Damien

Damien: Fine what time is it?

(They both look at the clock)

Sherrie: around six why?

Damien: sorry Hun, I have to go. We have a team meeting

(They kiss quickly and Damien exits. Blackout)

End of scene 7

(Outside the school, Damien runs over to Sherrie who is sitting doing her homework)

Damien: Come on birthday girl, I have a surprise for you

(Sherrie gets up and Damien leads her with her eyes closed to the football team who are holding a birthday cake, Damien takes his hands off her eyes)

Damien: Happy Birthday!

Football team(singing): Happy birthday to you.
Happy birthday to you.
Happy birthday dear Sherrie.
Happy birthday to you.

(The team throws the cake in her face and laughs as they run away)

Damien(laughing): you really thought you could have friends

(he runs after the team, Sherrie wipes the cake from her face crying and staring after Damien)

Awwww, thats so sad. Poor Sherrie

But I don't understand, did he do that only because she didn't want him to do that to her? Or was he faking it the whole time?

I have a couple suggestions also:

The story seems to move too fast, maybe you could slow it down or add somethings like "Overtime, they grew closer" or something like that.

Also, you forget to capatalize your lines in a lot of places. It's just like starting a sentance and its really easy to fix :D

I have one suggestion that I think is...werid for a title but what about calling it Witchcraft? Since thats what they bond over?

Just a couple thoughts! Really liked the story too!

Keep up the good work!
