At rise- Atlantic is steering, Lil is reading, Leonardo is Navigating, Inky and Elizabeth are talking, and Phoenix is lying in the hammock.
Atlantic: 2 days until we’re off the sea
Elizabeth 2 days until we’re were?
Lil: off the sea.
Atlantic: I didn’t think you were listening.
Lil: Well I was.
Atlantic: Ma te aha, ma te aha.
Leonardo: I’ll bet Vinegar‘ll is happy to see you.
Phoenix: see who?
Leonardo: Atlantic.
Elizabeth and Inky: as she always is.
Lil: Atlantic.
Atlantic: ae?
Lil: what is claupinda?
Atlantic: ask Leo.
Leonardo: There’s no such a word.
Lil: well it’s in here.
Atlantic: Let me see the book.
[Lil hands the book to Atlantic].
Phoenix: what book is it?
Atlantic: This is the book I got for my 6th or 7th birthday I learnt to write and must have written it in.
Lil: oh so that’s how it got in there.
Atlantic: I am afraid so.

Act 1
Scene 2
At rise- Atlantic is looking through the telescope, Lil is steering, Inky is navigating, Elizabeth is sitting down laughing her head off, Leonardo is talking to Atlantic, and Phoenix is in the Crows nest.
Lil: See anything yet Atlantic?
Atlantic: the coast of England.
Phoenix: How will we get into London?
Leonardo: through the Thames we’ll stop in Greenwich.
Atlantic: I hope Vinegar doesn’t do what she did last time
Phoenix: why?
Atlantic: Because it was stupid.
Lil: Okay, okay you two don’t start another argument she won’t.
Atlantic: I hate when you’re right [giving the telescope to Leonardo and lying down in the hammock pulling the tin whistle out of his sash].
[Elizabeth starts clapping when Atlantic has finished and closes his eyes and leans his head back].
Atlantic: thank you such a great crew even though you’re the only one who clapped.
Inky: yeah.
Lil: we’re in London.
Atlantic: Lizzie get and up and then sit back down that’s an order and Phoenix raise the flag. And Leonardo you can pretty much stay where you are and me I’ll take over the wheel.

Act 1
Scene 3
At rise- Atlantic and Leonardo are talking [Leonardo not getting a word in], Lil and Phoenix are having an arm wrestle, and Inky, Opal and Kill are playing cards, Flow listening to Atlantic Speaking and Laughing at Leonardo, Vinegar is trying to ask Atlantic a question.
Lil: Atlantic, ow that hurt Phoenix, Atlantic.
Atlantic: ae [turning around Leonardo about to say something] shut up Leonardo you’ve been talking so much I couldn’t get a word in, Lil.
Lil: Did ya give Opal the sword?
Opal: sword?
Atlantic: No, no I didn’t, Leonardo get the sword for me please will you.
Leonardo: yeah yeah yeah, okay.
[Leonardo exits left].
Vinegar: and me?
Phoenix: you don’t get everything you know Vinegar.
Opal: you do get quite a lot at that.
Vinegar: fine. [Looking grumpily at Atlantic who is talking to Opal].
Lil: Come here Vinegar, I need to talk to you.
[They exit left.]
Opal: We heard you playing on the Thames.
Atlantic: Really.
Flow: I am sure I heard it somewhere before.
Leonardo: he played it to you.
Flow: It was the lullaby song “River Lake”.
Atlantic: quite right (takes a step away from Kill who is standing right next to him) yes you stay there.
Kill: what’s that?
Flow: Atlantic, used play it to me when I was little.
Kill: awesome.
Phoenix: well it is not the only one he knows
Atlantic: it isn’t?
Lights out.
Act 1
Scene 4
At rise- Atlantic is in the hammock playing the Tin whistle, Lil is cleaning the swords.
Lil: I love that tune it’s very pretty.
[Atlantic stops playing and looks at Lil].
Atlantic: thanks.
Lil: you know Vinegar has a crush on you.
Atlantic: who [sounding surprised].
Lil: Vinegar.
Atlantic: doesn’t everyone?
[Lil giggles]
Lil: no.
[Leonardo enters left and whispers something in Atlantic’s ear].
Atlantic: ah okay.
[Atlantic exits left.]
Lil: I actually have to say he’s a very good natured young man.
Leonardo: I couldn’t have put it better my self.
Lil: the best part of him is that he’s terrific on that tin whistle.
Leonardo: Yes that part of him that frustrates me.
Lil: Don’t be mean Leonardo [lightly hitting him on the arm].
[The police enter right].
Sergant: ah why you’re here, I wonder have you seen any…
[Leonardo pulls out his sword].
Leonardo: as you were saying?
Sergant: Well there was a call in at the police station that a few…
[Lil pulls out her sword]
Lil: that a few what had come?
Sergant: Pirates had come.
[Phoenix and Atlantic enter left].
Phoenix: (grabbing Leonardo’s arm) what are they doing here Leo?
Atlantic: leave it to me this is gonna be easy (to himself) to easy (then walks towards the Sergant pulling out his sword].
Sergant: Excuse me young man…
Atlantic: have you seen any pirates? Well have you? I certainly have.
Sergant: no.
Atlantic: well now you have.
Man1: but your only teenagers or young adults.
Atlantic: [pointing at Man1 but looking at the Sergant] did you just hire this guy ?
Man1: no he’s had me for a…
[Atlantic makes a jabbing movement towards Man2 who is making he’s way towards the crew].
Atlantic: Move away [waits for man2 to move away] thanks.

Act 1
Scene 5
At rise- Atlantic is talking to Flow who is looking sad, Lil, Inky, and Phoenix are getting the boat ready, Elizabeth is talking to Opal, Vinegar is looking at Atlantic, Leonardo is studying the Tin whistle.
Atlantic: We’ll come back as soon as we can.
Flow: but you didn’t come back for 6 weeks.
Leonardo: well we were on our way.
Atlantic: don’t worry we are going to be on our way, after something’s are found out, once & for all.
Flow: what things though?
Atlantic: things that are important to us pirates.
Vinegar: loads of thing’s apparently.
Atlantic and Inky: Shut up Vinegar.
Flow: what thing’s Atlantic?
Atlantic: Just thing’s Flow don’t worry.
[Flow hug’s Atlantic].
Atlantic & Leonardo: that was a little unexpected.
Phoenix: we’re ready.
Atlantic: right coming.
[Atlantic & Leonardo jump on, Elizabeth runs on, the boat moves off].
Opal: He’ll be back soon.
Vinegar: Too soon.

Scene 6
At rise- Atlantic is writing a report, Lil is steering, Inky is looking through the telescope, Elizabeth is reading, Leonardo is navigating, and Phoenix is in the crows nest.
Leonardo: Atlantic how did you learn to play the tin whistle.
Atlantic: I am self-taught.
Leonardo: oh okay.
Atlantic: you were there remember?
Lil: I do.
Leonardo: oh yeah.
Inky: how did you teach your-self?
Atlantic: ummmmmm I can’t really remember.
Inky: okay fair enough.
Elizabeth: Lil.
Lil: what do you want?
Elizabeth: why is life so complicated?
Lil: I dunno.
Elizabeth: Atlantic.
Atlantic: ae?
Elizabeth: where is Phoenix?
Phoenix: Atlantic! There’s a Storm ahead.
Atlantic: oh great just what we need.
Lil: what.
Atlantic: a storm.

Scene 1
At rise- The pirates are fighting a strong storm.
Atlantic: Leonardo!
Leonardo: yeah?!
Atlantic: get Lizzie & Inky!
Leonardo: what about Phoenix and…
Atlantic: I’ll get them just get Lizzie, Inky and you to safety.
[Atlantic wades over to Lil picks her up]
Lil: I fucking love you
[Lil kisses Atlantic before he jumps into the water]
Phoenix: ATLANTIC! HEY! FIIINE DINT YOU WORRY ABOUT ME!

Act 2
Scene 2
At rise- The pirates are sitting under a tree and Phoenix is sitting on the other side of the tree unseen yet reading.
Leonardo: [Shouting] YOU FOGORT HER ATLANTIC!
Atlantic: aye I did.
Leonardo: HOW COULD YOU!!??
Atlantic: I was busy getting off the ship.
Leonardo: AND YOU WERE SO DUMB TO…
Atlantic: Leonardo.
Elizabeth: you can’t call your own captain dumb Leo.
Atlantic: Listen I know that she is one of the crew and you care about her a lot.
Leonardo: I do and so what?
Lil: Leonardo there is no use in hiding it you have a crush on her don’t you.
Leonardo: yeah I do so what?
[Phoenix pokes her head round the tree unseen by Leonardo but seen by the rest].
Inky: so what are the things that you find interesting about her?
Leonardo: Everything basically she has a cool smile.
Phoenix: yeah I do don’t I Leonardo.
[Inky, Elizabeth, Lil, Atlantic, and Phoenix start laughing].
Leonardo: I didn’t mean it.
Phoenix: oh yeah sure Leonardo.
Leonardo: well I didn’t.
[The police enter left.]
Atlantic: aye want do you want [getting up]?
Man1: oh no [turning around to face the other way].
Atlantic: shut up. What do ya want Sergant?
Sergant: I thought you had gone.
Atlantic: what do ya want [drawing his sword]?
Sergant: we are on patrol in the park.
Atlantic: oh really are you?
Sergant: yes we…
Lil: Atlantic [looking and sounding a little defensive].
[Atlantic turns around only to find Man2 walking towards Lil]
Atlantic: God almighty will you leave the crew alone you bastard.
Man2: yes sir
Atlantic: and don’t sir me.

Scene 3
At rise- Opal is talking to Atlantic, Lil and Leonardo are trying to make out to each other that one is better at piracy than the other, Flow is writing, Meldon is talking to Phoenix.
Opal: I thought it was meant to be that …
Atlantic: [Aloud] I know that rule [aside] it’s not as if I didn’t study it.
[Vinegar runs entering left and Kill close behind both seen by all the pirates].
Kill: Vinegar loves Atlantic, Vinegar …
Vinegar: SHUT UP YOU IDIOT!
Kill: ooh your try’n to hold it in.
Vinegar: YOU DON’T KNOW ANYTHING!!!!!!!!
Kill: Vinegar loves Atlantic.
[They run exiting right].
Atlantic: pehea nei the…?
Flow: Oh Kill thinks you love Vinegar.
Atlantic: He’s mental.
Lil: Don’t worry I don’t think you have anything for each other.
Atlantic: you can say that again.
Lil: No thanks I am alright
Atlantic: Ha don’t worry you don’t have to

Act 2
Scene 4
At rise- Kill is teasing Vinegar still, Vinegar is still yelling at Kill.
Kill: Vinegar loves…
Vinegar: I DO NOT YOU LITTLE RAT!
Kill: ooooh Vinegar loves ….
Vinegar: DO NOT YOU LITTLE SLUG FACED RAT!
Kill: wait it is Atlantic or Leonardo.
Vinegar: you’re a brat.
[Atlantic and Leonardo enter right laughing].
Kill: oy Atlantic!
Atlantic: aye.
Vinegar: you wouldn’t dare Kill [muttering].
Kill: Vinegar loves…
Vinegar: I’ll punch you later [whispering just loud enough so the audience can hear her].
Kill: you.
[Vinegar punches Kill].
Kill: ouch.
[Atlantic slowly backs away pulling Leonardo, who is looking absolutely stunned].
Vinegar: you’re a slug faced worm who doesn’t know anything!
Kill: Am not!
[Atlantic walks up behind Vinegar pushing her aside walks up to Kill and turns him around].
Atlantic: Kill back off her.
Lights out.
Act 2
Scene 5
At rise- Atlantic is quietly talking to Kill, Vinegar is trying to read a book, and Lil and Leonardo are talking about the price of maraders.
Atlantic: Back off her okay back off her.
Kill: Go away you think that I should listen to you just because you’re a pirate well to bad I am not.
[Kill exits right, pushing Atlantic’s shoulder].
Atlantic: Noho Noa tou purari heahea.
Leonardo: alright alright Atlantic stay calm.
Atlantic: ae, ae
Lil: Its alright we’ll be outta here soon.
Atlantic: Yeah as soon as the Zambia’s rebuilt.
Vinegar: I would wanna be on a ship, to get away from Kill.
Leonardo: I wish I could stay in one place.
Atlantic: Well why don’t I kick you off the boat and Vinegar can rake your place?
Leonardo: um no.
Lil: thought you wouldn’t want to leave the ship.
Atlantic: Ae.

Act 2
Scene 6
At rise- Atlantic and Flow are playing cards, Meldon is watching Atlantic and Flow, Lil is drawing the plans for the boat, and Phoenix and Leonardo are talking.
Leonardo: Can we hurry and build the ship.
Atlantic: Ae, as soon as possible.
Flow: Ae I want tou to leave.
Atlantic: thanks a lot.
Lil: Atlantic come here for a sec.
[Atlantic hands his cards to Meldon and walks over to Lil].
Phoenix: Let’s hope we get the boat up and going before the Poli…
[The Police enter left; Flow and Meldon run Exiting right].
Sergant: Oh your still here I would like to have some idea when your going to leave.
Atlantic: the boats smashed have any problems with that.
Man1: Well hurry up and build it then.
Leonardo: It takes along time any objections with that?
[Atlantic steps on Leonardo’s foot as a warning, at which Leonardo looks irritated].
Atlantic: any ideas mate on how to build it quickly without it sinking please say so.
[Man1 looks away knowing nothing about how to build a boat].
Atlantic: as you were saying Sergant?
Sergant: When are you going to leave?
Atlantic: I just said didn’t I as soon as the boat is built and it takes a long time okay. So will you go away?
[Atlantic and Leonardo start drawing their swords and moving towards the policemen].
Leonardo: go away Sergant [Atlantic looks sarcastically at Leonardo].
Man2: Serg. I think we better listen.
[The police turn and exit left, Flow and Meldon Enter Right].
Phoenix: Wow those police are wimps.
Atlantic: Aye they are [putting his sword back and laughing].
Flow: but you’re going to get into to trouble.
Meldon: yeah you are their pretty tough. I wouldn’t do that again.
Atlantic: don’t worry we always have a good idea.
Lil: Do we?
