7/10. This idea could be really good or really bad. It depends on how you write it.

Okay so my idea is that the whole world is going to end in 24 hours, to be swallowed by a black hole. Everyone knows it, and everyone is trying to put some closure on their life. It would be like a chain of stories, each story with its own chapter and leaving it there. Everything is in an uproar, and so I have several ideas to write about that could each have its own chapter. Amongst the chaos, there would be these stories:
1. A woman who is pregnant and has her baby exactly 24 hours before the world is going to end, so the baby would only live to be a day old.
2. A family of four who want to spend their last day together.
3. A rebellious teenager who had fled home years ago that goes to see her parents one last time.
4. An unpublished lonely writer who wants to finish her book before the world ends.
5. One lonely person who does not want to die alone.
6. One perfect student who wants to go crazy.
7. One broken relationship that mends itself.
8. One story about best friends (one boy and one girl) that realize that they love each other.
9. The NASA scientists who are trying to stop the black hole from swallowing the earth.

Then the world ends and everyone has put some closure on their life.
Thats all I got. Will it be too sad to write?

Hmm, 8/10. I think it definitely sounds as though it could be good, and you have some interesting scenarios. It doesn't seem terribly mind-grabbing as it is though; you would have to write it very good for it to work. And don't worry about the ending, I think. HAppy endings are too cliche.
**
Okay, so this idea is my first stab at writing a mystery/suspense novel. (I've been reading a lot of Mary Higgins Clark lately).

This girl (Chandler Camacho) was away at college in another state when her beautiful seventeen year old sister (Julia) is brutually murdered. She flies back home at once. The two suspects are Julia's boyfriends Tom Wilson and a special needs teen Justin Finch. It was the testimony of Chandler and Julia's eight year old sister (Rena) that Tom was found guilty and thrown in jail. Twenty-some years later when Chandler has moved, settled down, and finally put it behind her, she learns that Tom is coming up for parole, and that he is trying yet again to stick the death on Justin. Always convined of Tom's guilt, CHnadler flies back immediately to try and stop Tom from being released. However, when she starts digging for information that will leave no one in doubt, she starts to doubt if she has really been right in hating Tom.

Then of course the twist at the end is that Julia's actual murderer was Justin's mother. Julia had broken her son's heart. Her parents didn't approve of Tom and wouldn't let her go to the dance with him. So she invited Justin instead, her parents approved, she got to the dance, then completely ditched him. His mother was furious and went over to confront Julia one night when she was home alone. It turned violent and she ended up killing Julia.
**

Well? It's probably not that good. Like I said, it's my first try.

It'd be OK if it wasn't for the silly, pre-packed twist at the end. 6/10.

"Back Into The Gray"

Two small time cons, ex-junkies, get a call from an uncle who wants to cash in on a favor they owe him. He wants them to come back into the city (just any city, a really bleak, really depressing city nicknamed the gray) and kill a couple of individuals. To do this, they decide, they must promptly consume every possible drug they can. So, in a heroin and alcohol and cocaine and pharmaceutically induced haze, they fly over to the city, wreck hotel rooms, meet ex-girlfriends, botch the job and, most of all, try to convince people that they're not really junkies.

It's also romance fiction.

Hmm. Junkies and romance. Not something I would read, but someone would like it. :) 5/10

A girl lives with her mother's employer, a very rich, successful family. Even though the family is rich, she insists on earning her own was to Julliard, to learn to be a professional musician. The youngest boy of the rich family falls in love with the beauty of the girl, but he is afraid he won't be able to woo her, because she is extremely smart and he is not, so he asks his older brother (successful but quiet and obsessed with running the family company) to writer letters to the girl in his name. Presently the other brother falls in love with the girl as well, but he has promised not to reveal the secret.

An original story inspired by both Sabrina and Cyrano de Bergerac.

Aww 8/10. I'd read that. ^^

Mine's about a group of children from a Queer youth group who go with a friend to meet someone he's meeting off the internet, partly to make sure he's safe and partly to see if he's real. The person is real, and the youths end up in Scotland (it's set in England) after certain events, it has a slightly tragic ending, but I wont say what because I may well post this story on here. :P

I'd read it :D
Now, on to mine . . .
Novel: A fire burned down most of a magical world. The survivors of the fire forgot everything that has to do with time (days of the week, night, day, 1:00, etc.) In that magical world, to get your "powers" you have to prove yourself to the ruler of the land. The ruler is determined to ruin the world, and creates a part-rumor that the fire was caused to eliminate all of the unworthy people of the world.
Meanwhile a couple of teenagers (haven't decided age, yet), who have lost many family members and friends during the fire come together to figure out time and fight evil. One of those has somehow survived the forgetting of time, and is trying to get the world to believe him. One of the rulers top advisers suspects them, and threatens to tell the ruler about them (who would kill them), if they do not do three tasks he assigns(the tasks are horrible, but I haven't decided them yet.) William, the boy who somehow survived the fire, and does not accept the third task . . .

Hm... Quite interesting. If you put maybe like a small twist involving the 'true purpose' of the fire (as long as it isn't prophetic), I might read it. 7/10

A schoolgirl and a friend come home one day to find that a strange kid is staying at their house for a while. Schoolgirl's mother has to leave and the boy discovers a document that says an alien race is looking for this humongous device hidden in Earth's core (they are living on the moon). They decide to go on the journey, thinking it will be fun trying to stop the aliens. However, things quickly go out of hand, and a war has started, the kids caught in the middle. Along the way, there will ba plenty of death and quite a bit of romance.

It has potential: it can go either way depending on how you execute it. I'd give it a 7/10.

Here's my idea:

Maximilian wants to rule the world. He's been stealing souls since he's seven and now that he's fourteen, he believes the time is ripe for him to start trying his hand at world domination.

There are only five little catches about his plan:

1.) He's a Soul Master - being alive is a crime because Soul Masters don't have any souls and are therefore, by default, dead. Which is why they steal souls. However, soul stealing is addictive thanks to the power you receive every time you steal a soul. And guess who's addicted...

2.) A street urchin named Gwen knows what he is and is blackmailing him.

3.) He has no supporters or followers, nor does he have an army.

4.) In a totalitarian rule like Ara, world domination isn't considered a funny joke. The mere thought of joking about it is enough to have you put to death.

5.) Plan? What plan? There is no plan.
Why do I keep having this scary nightmare...The one where I went mad and killed you with my own hands.

I would give it a 8/10. I like the idea, it would be something I would read, but I don't like who it's just a spur of the moment decision. I think he should at least have a plan or something. Just an opinion. It was kind of confusing too.

Danny can control the weather. Her brother is the only one who knows and one day, when she was trying to practice her powers, she accidently kills him. Now she's alone with no one else in the world. What she dosen't know is that there are others like her. One, Brendan, tells her that it wasn't a freak accident. She didn't kill her brother. Another evil man, Heston, who has sought her ought since the begining of time, killed him. Brendan claims to be her mentor, but as she faces obstacles and hardships she dosen't know who to believe. Heston or Brendan? Heston told her they were meant to be while Brendan tells her she is the only one that can rid the world of this evil. Evil like Heston. But how can she survive much more death. Especially the death of her only love. The one she must kill. Heston.

Tell me what you think (:

6.5/10 ehhh....it's a little bit contradictory. I mean, she kills him, but then she learns she DIDN'T kill her bro? It's confusing unless you have a real good explanation for that...the rest of it is okay, but I'd work on the whole "killing of the bro" thing there.

This idea is half-baked, and I'm still chewing on it. It takes place in one of the US's major cities - most likely Chicago, since 90% of my stories revolve around Chicago, for some reason - in the distant future, where the economy has slumped even further than it has now, and the administration in office is almost virtually powerless to stop it. America is on the brink of war with six different countries, and is suffering complete anarchial chaos from within.

Taking place within Chicago, a group of particulars try to run their self-owned club and get by in life without stepping on anyone else's toes. Eventually, they start pulling off stunts for cash including theft, drug trades, etc., and accidentally piss off the leader of a drug cult, who is very influential throughout Chicago. The group of particulars must fight to stay alive using wit, fighting fire with fire, and knowing when to run like hell. The story gets more twisted as each member of the group ends up getting into a personal struggle of his own along the way.

9/10 - Sounds great! I'd like to read it if you ever write it.

Anyway, my idea is set in a future where there is no such thing as a family. Children are born, bred and raised in an institute (genetic engineering) and they're either bred to be a civilian, an affiliate of the government or a differ - an assassin for the government. Either way, in this society there is no such thing as social interaction unless you're an affiliate.

All humans also have a broken angel bonded to them (angels are captured like game in those days). So the story starts when a differ named Rayne is accidentally released into civilian society and is found by a wild (and half-psychotic) angel called Keion, who is bent on redeeming the world and turning it into a paradise.

Tell me what you think, please. ^^

I like the idea of the angel being demented, instead of the human. If this is ever written, I'd go for it.

In the realm of the dead, there are three worlds. There is Limbo, there are the Unfathomable Depths, and there is the Sanctuary. Most souls are forever wandering in Limbo, but a fwe get called to either the Depths or the Sanctuary. Those who go to the Depths are supposed to forever remain in solitary confinement, never to leave again. Those who enter the Sanctuary are blessed to live in a world of peace and happiness, unless they are reincarnated.

Reincarnation happens when a person takes half the soul of a person who is 'gone'. This means they no longer exist on any plane, including Limbo or the Sanctuary. However, people who have gone to the Depths are assumed to never escape, so in accordance to the Old Laws, their souls are available for reincarnation.

However, eight people from the Depths have escaped, albeit without any memories. They have to participate in the Stealing, but since a reincarnation is technically half of their soul, they are the same person. So, this means that sixteen people are taking part, not the usual eight. However, everyone will be judged as an individual contestant.

You can't live without half a soul, and most half-souls kill themselves after less than three days. There is only one person who has survived for more than a year and she has gone insane. And, she is the judge of the Stealing.

This will focus on each of the contestants who have escaped from the Depths as they try to remember what happened to them, as well as to stay alive. They're going to be digging themselves in deeper and deeper into the mess that is the Stealing as the rounds get increasingly more personal.
There once was a cat.
He wasn’t particularly fat.
Fuzzy was his favorite mat.
And really, that was that.

Oh, but did you really think so?
Keep reading, it’s just the start of the show!
And as for how far this tale will go…
Well, even the cat doesn’t know.

That sounds really interesting.
Pretty well thought out, too, from the sound of it.
I would most definitely read it.

My turn:
I've had this idea for a while now, and I'm kind of mad that it was stolen in a sense. I thought up of this before the movie came out and now I'm not sure if I want to write it because of it...
The movie is Spy Kids 3.

But basically what happens in mine is a real gamer girl gets a hold on this absolutely amazing "unbeatable" game. She plays and after you get to a certain level, you're drawn into the game, where, its you, one hundred percent. In the real world, you're not there. You'd be reported as a missing person. But in the game, whatever damage you inflict upon yourself... its real damage.

The game is set in the medevil times, but basically the girl and a few friends will have to beat seven different bosses, each getting harder and harder to beat as they move on.

Romance may or may not occur between some of the characters, it depends on if they want it, but one thing that will definitely be there? Betrayal and revenge.

So I'm not sure if I want to write it any more since Spy Kids 3 kind of sort of stole the idea...
What do you think?

It could be great if you made it different enough from Spy Kids 3. It's not exactly the same, and adding more details could make it completely different if you want.

Well, here's my absolutely Sci-Fi idea. I've been gingerly fingering it for the past couple of months, gently prodding it... augh, I really need to write something. All those wonderful adverbs are clumping together and pretty soon I may just start talking like that. So anyways, here we go:

Ever thought about genetic engineering? Being part cat or dog? Having wings? Growing another limb if it's cut off?
What if you could?

The year is 2548, and, finally, scientists have found a way to mix human DNA with that of an animal. They can make hybrid animals, and mix that DNA with a humans. They can mix and mix and mix and mix and... well, you get the idea. It seems like everyone wants to be something they're not. However, it's not exactly possible for that to happen, since there are only three countries (The West, The East, and Medius) left in the world, and each of them is entirely socialistic. You belong to your country, not yourself.

The West is, to put things plainly, greedy. They flat out want to rule the world. Although they don't call it that, of course, that's what it comes down to. The West has decided to create soldiers from this new technology (splicing). And it pretty much worked. They took babies away from their parents, altered their DNA, and raised them up to be good little soldiers. So only a few months before the planned attack on Medius...

About a hundred of the 10,000 (give or take) altered humans escaped the military base, realizing that "This isn't right, this isn't me," even though they have no earthly idea of who they actually are.

Two hundred "super-soldiers" were sent out to find them. Of course, finding a hundred people in what spans where North America, the Britich Isles, and Australia once were isn't exactly easy.

The escapees are trying to find their families, their identities, and their humanity, all the while running from the super soldiers. Hey, it isn't a piece of cake controling animal instincts. In a world where no one belongs to themselves, families can be created or destroyed at a single word from the right guy, and uniform is the only way, how can someone have an identity?

This will bring up the subjects of humanity and identity, in case you couldn't guess. It has way better tech than what we have. It will be in the first-person view of the protagonist, who doesn't save the world single-handedly or anything, I just want to look through first person.

What do you think?
Religion without science is lame; science without religion is blind.

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe.

Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school.
