"Oh, I guess so. I don't have many, but that's all right with me." ~Tannar

"Oh yes, MAKING friends is easy. I just never choose to." ~K'ratcha

*Danteel and Tannar look at K'ratcha, then each other*

"I knew it. He was bound to get here sooner or later." ~Danteel

"Humph." ~Tannar

"And sunny days to you, hailstone-boy." ~K'ratcha

My father, inner peace...and make the scars go away. I suppose that counts as wishing for normalcy? - Upton

A family who isn't disillusioned into thinking they're French, a new set of watercolors, and...*impish grin* David. - Adelais

Oh, come off it- the poor fellow doesn't know what you are. If only he understood the words 'filthy pervert', he'd be able to ward you off. I'm getting him wooden stakes and garlic for his birthday... - Luke

I have the most amazingly brilliant blackmail on you, Princess. I wouldn't be calling people silly names, if I were you. - Adelais

Mmm! What a fun question! Ah...let's see...an interpreter who won't tell my father what I want to say in English, a summer home in England, and- *giggles*- trousers. Luke said he was going to teach me how to ride horses. What'll they* say to that? - The Infanta

*meaning, "my parents and the entire country of Spain and its colonies"

What kind of teacher do you like the best?

"Jataal." ~Tannar

"Those who don't think it's their job to raise their students." ~Danteel

"Well, since most teachers (or at least the ones I see at the palace) are Arashna, I'd say I like the kind that just ignore me rather than teaching their high-born pupils creative synonyms to 'serpant-born.'" ~K'ratcha

"I guess he^'s here to stay then." ~Tannar

"Looks like it." ~Danteel

"Drat." ~Tannar

"That's all you can say, 'drat'? I thought you were the comic releif in your story." ~K'ratcha

*Danteel nonchalontly claps a hand over Tannar's mouth before the profanities can scare the noobs*

which do you dislike MORE: people you don't understand or people who don't understand you?

I don't dislike either. But I don't like more either. You know? It's like, if you don't understand somebody, it's just because you don't think the same way, no shame in that. And somebody not understanding you isn't a crime. Just think, If stupidity were a crime there would be one hell of a population drop. ~Jamie (POD)

I would say, people I don't understand, why can't they just tell me? Everything would be a whole lot easier if people would just tell you what was going on instead of giving you hints and assume that one day you'll get it right. ~Anica (Illusions)

What one word would you use to describe the world around you?
But that is not the question. Why we are here, that is the question. And we are blessed in this, that we happen to know the answer. Yes, in this immense confusion one thing alone is clear. We are waiting for Godot to come. -Beckett

The new type of cart they've got- the ones with two compartments and five sets of wheels. *shudders* - Upton

Idiots. Particularly, of the male kind. - Lieutenant [who is, at this moment, having boy troubles]

The wedding band. Really- if we didn't have them, we'd never have to grow up. It's all this about 'Scrape the dirt from your fingernails, or you'll never get a wife' and all of this random strangeness that life would be a lot better without.

What if I wanted to be a bachelor for the rest of my life? I'll be a regular Peter Pan.
