That name kind of just annoys me, because it takes me longer then a second to pronounce it the first time and then I have to struggle with if the pronunciation I came up with is actually the correct one. I'd say fantasy or science fiction.

Dawson (for female)

I think her parents are hippies and her mother especially is a die-hard feminist, giving her a male name to "empower" her, or something. I have a feeling she's abivalent about that, but when she was little she asked people to call her Dawn.
(Why would someone give a girl a name with son in it?!)*
