History: As a young girl, Maria was beaten often by her parents as they were scared of her powers. She use to create a light to read at night and one night woke her parents up with it. Soon she discovered they were plotting to kill her, they had started to believe she was a demon. This caused her to run away to her cousin Lucy's home. She reached there two days after her 6th birthday. Lucy and her father took her in with open arms. She lived there with wealth and love for quite some time. When she turned 14, she decided to run away again after hearing her parents talking to her Uncle in his study. She ran to Fairy Tail, earned her way into the guild and was soon adopted by Makarov. She lived there until the world joined with the human world and everything changed.
