Humanity has almost destroyed the planet, through war and pollution. Some animals and plants have mutated into dangerous species that seem to have one purpose: devouring humans. They roam outside the walls of compounds that the last of our race now reside inside.
The governments of the world have begun to construct the "Space Arcs" (or just Arcs) to take certain people to a newly terriformed Mars. It is not intended to be a permanent move, for the top geneticists of the world have created an ingenious way to clean up the planet.
Getting desperate, scientists created a type of superhuman, known as Saviors. These humans have been engineered to have certain powers that are designed to remake the planet. Some can negate pollutive chemicals. Some can reverse the terrible mutations of the flora and fauna.
There is a bigger problem, as well: the scientists who created the Saviors have a terrible secret. Before they settled on the design that ended up as the Saviors, there were other, less advanced models. These were released into the wild, with the hopes that they will die. Die they do not, however. They find each other, seek each other out. They band together, bitter from their abandonment. Revenge, a personal vendetta against humankind, is their only motive. To keep the humans from returning to the planet that they have so conveniently abandoned. And all that is in the mutants' way are the Saviors.
Humans are leaving. The Saviors are left to their task, with only limited resources and basic radios to communicate with Earth officials and no idea about the danger that they are in. The world will die if they do not succeed.

Here are all of the powers. There are four:

1) You can eliminate noxious pollutants, making them into oxygen or nitrogen. Basically, as you breath, you are cleaning the air. You do not need a gas mask.

2) You can reverse the mutations of plants and animals. When you are within a ten-foot radius of any mutations, they begin to reverse back to their normal selves. You need a gas mask to breathe in the atmosphere.

3) You can purify water. This power is somewhat like the first in that you eliminate pollution. However, you need to touch the water to clean it. You require a gas mask to breath.

4) You have super strength. You are not for remaking the planet; you are designed to protect the other Saviors from outside forces. You can breathe for limited times without a mask.

Name: Ithycus Burns (Or just Burns)

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Description: Ithycus is tall and pale, with long black hair. He usually wears loose black clothing that's easy to move in. He's got a kind of pointy face, but there's always a smile there, or laughter. He is blind.

Personality: He's easy going, loves his friends, and is also fiercely protective. He is good at fighting, but does not like to harm anything, even enemies, and he can wield his power efficiently. He wholeheartedly enjoys his task of cleaning up Earth, and he never gets tired of it. He doesn't really have any love of the scientists who created him: it was painful, like torture. He knows what has to be done, though, and does it.

Power: Ithycus can reverse the mutations of plants and animals.

Short Bio: His parents gave his embryo to the scientists for the project, and, after he grew up and went through the painful experiment process (blinding him), he embraced his task. He volunteered to be left behind, in what was once South America.

Weaknesses/Strengths: He only ever reluctantly fights. It's very hard to urge him to do so. Most of the time, when he's fighting, it's to protect his friends. He has found that, much of the time, when he reverses the mutations on animals, they'll follow him around, and he can train them. Now he has his own mini force of dogs, cats, and squirrels.

Weapon: His power, a small handgun.

Other: Up for love.
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.

Name: Agatha Clarke.

Gender: Female.

Race: Mutant.

Age: 19.

Description: Agatha is an extremely beautiful woman, but under her skin she has one of the worst personalities. Agatha's hair is the only part of her that indicates quite a nefarious personality; its hue is an obscure bronze, which lightens towards the ends. The shape of it is very jagged, apart from the top, of which is more of a flat, round shape. Agatha likes to dress naturally and disguise herself as much as possible, making ambushes easier. She prefers to raid abondoned houses that still have clothes in and take large jackets that can cover her chin. If she cannot find one however, she will use the bandana occasionally found on her hair or in one of her pockets to put round her chin.

Bandana and face:
Spoiler! :

Personality: Agatha is an extremely arrogant woman that lives on grudges. She has a passionate hate for both the Saviors and the humans. Around her own kind, she will be most aggressive and continuously bring up the subject of slaughtering the Saviors so that the humans may never return. And as sadist as it seems; Agatha loves to see the Savoirs and humans in pain.

Power: Power selection three; purifying water, or in this case, due to being a faulty prototype, Agatha seems to make water more toxic and poluted, but at times she can purify it, but this is extremely rare since she's a mutant.

Weakness/Strengths: One of her weaknesses is her anger; she cannot control it after having such a cruel experience. Another weekness of her's is that she hardly thinks before acting, so this can result in the harm of herself and others. One of her strengths on the other hand is Agatha's courage. It never fades, for in her opinion she doesn't really have much or a purpose, so dying wouldn't matter. Agatha is quite the quiet type, meaning she draws less attention and can ambush Saviors and humans easier.

Short Bio: After it was certain the world would soon end due to the damage provided by the humans, Agatha's parents knew they couldn't take care of her. Although her mother was only a mere few weeks pegnant, she gave Agatha to scientists, who produced her in a tube. The proceedure was dangerous, and Agatha's mother later died, so they can never be reunited, and her father couldn't care less for her now since she went 'wrong'. The scientists never put her to sleep whilst transporting her into the wild, so she knew exactly what was going on and this was what first sparked her hate. Throughout the years, Agatha had trained herself to live with the weapons she created; slaughtering animals that had adapted to the dying world and occasionally purifying water right enough to drink it.

Weapon: A fairly strong bow and arrow; her arrows being stronger than the bow. She has used her faulty power to not always purify water, and instead she has heated it up and used it to melt rock, therefor producing metal for her arrows. She reuses them, hence she has a lot. Do not underestimate her use of this bow and arrow, although she doesn't have the morse perfect aim, for when she gets angry her vision seems to inpair.

Spoiler! :

Other: Open for any relationships, whether it's kin or love. She has an evident scar along the inside of her left arm from her first use of the bow and arrow.

Will finish as I edit

Name: Nicole Terra Mainville

Gender: Female

Race: Mutant

Age: 17

Description: About 5'4", naturally blond. She has the normal laid back American slouch. She isn't one to wear a lot of makeup. She has freckles spotted all over her face.
Spoiler! :
Image

Personality: Nicole is a shy girl on the outside, couldn't and wouldn't hurt a fly. She is hard to get to know, and is often frightened by everything. She tries to fit in and be part of a group, because despite her timidness, she hates being alone. She doesn't like being poked, hugged, or touched in general, it irritates her. She's very self concious. Nicole has a double personality, her other personality is a total biotch, and she cannot remember a thing that happens when she is on her second personality, all she knows is that it is her 'older' sister and it protects her. It calls itself by her middle name, Terra. Terra likes to start fights, and believes she is defending her little sister, Nicole. Nicole only returns when Terra is shocked, for example a slap, or cold water.

Power: Selection 1

Weakness: Communicating, Swimming, The dark, Not strong physically, and easily persuaded.

Strengths: Running, Climbing, Good with animals, Great reflexes

Short Bio: She was given to the scientists right after birth, she grew up feeling like she meant nothing, and facing tests day after day. She was abused in the labs and often heard of her sister *who didn't survive tests as a child*. One day something went horribly wrong in a test, and Terra was born. After Terra started showing up, the girl(s) were to much of a handful, and the girls were cast out into the wilderness to take care of 'Each other'. They are so different, they don't even sound the same. At first, the scientist thought Nicole was a whole different person, because of how she changed her appearance when she became Terra.

Weapon: It's Terra's but she leaves it with Nicole when she leaves.
Spoiler! :

Other: When Nicole is herself, she wears this...
Spoiler! :

... If Terra sees it she wakes up and Nicole takes back over.
