Tanshein is a land of splendor and beauty. It stretches wide and far, filled with grand forests and vast mountain ranges. The strangest, and often the most beautiful creatures roam the wilderness. The north-west is one of the few populated areas in the whole land, where the city of Toliaz rests, and in the center of that city is the palace. But it isn't the city or even the palace, or the north-west corner that grabs our attention here. No, what holds importance for us is the even grander City of the Walkers, carved into the central Togiel mountain range.

This city is but folk-lore in the eyes of many, and the Night Walkers prefer to keep it that way. Nobody knows of this city, and few remember the myths of old. The Night Walkers are gifted with powers granted to them by their King.

Two young Walkers hold more power than one could ever wish to wield, and they have been in training with it since they were young. These two are different, they were not born within the secret city. They were born in Toliaz. Lulu was said to have simply vanished three days after birth, whereas Zaberiel was said to have died in a fire along with the rest of his family (His younger brother was the only survivor) in a fire that took place when he was twelve. They have been sent on a mission to find and protect a group of six from Toliaz. The six aren't well aquainted, nor have they much knowledge of the Walker myths. Problem is, the six are descendants of Walkers, and are nearly as powerful as Lulu and Zaberiel.

Using their powers, Zabriel and Lulu must guide the six, and test them along the way, without the six even knowing they exist. Only the King knows what the six are being protected from, but whatever it is, it's rotting Tanshein from the inside out. A battle will begin, will the six be ready?

RULES:

-No god-modding or perfecto characters.

-Please keep in mind that Zaberiel and Lulu are extremely powerful, even for Walkers, don't make your powers exceed theirs.

-Swearing is most certainly allowed, but keep it to a minimum

-This is set in a medieval era, so please keep charrie appearances and such true to that era

-I am leaving you to create the creatures of the land. (tame or wild) Create them as we go, give them names and looks, ect... Post images in spoilers if you must, though a written description will be good enough

Gender: Female

Appearance: She always stars straight ahead.

Personality: She is sweet and shy. To sum it up. She doesn't say much, even though she can talk, she is half blind. She loves animals. She loves the feel of rain on her skin, and absolutely loves her uncle. She hates fire, she absolutely HATES when people brag about colors or say stuff like "Wow that looks amazing","look at all the vivid colors." It ticks her right off. She 'sees' heat. Don't make her angry, or you will regret it. Making her angry, isn't that hard.

Fears: Water (cant swim), being outdone, loud noises

Weaknesses: water, faster people, being outnumbered, aim is terrible (obvious reasons)

Preferred Weapon: long sword

Strengths: hand at hand combat, swords, traveling in the dark

Powers (up to 5): heat sensing, control emotions, weather manipulation, force field generation, duplication (can double objects she touches)
extra power: super speed (so cliche :P)

Brief History: When she was young, her and her mother were abducted and brought to the city of the walkers. Her mother died a few years later, when she was six. She's focused her life on training since.

Name: Zabriel Demosuss

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Appearance: Him, but with very, very bright green eyes and of course...not those clothes....


Personality: He's extremely soft-hearted and will go out of his way to protect. He's usually quite quiet, and hates violence unless it must be enforced. He's peaceful, and thinks very, very deeply most of the time. He enjoy solitude, and is quite secretive. He speaks in riddles most of the time, which earns him a reputation as wise. He's got a fierce side, however. You hurt anybody he feels obligated to protect and you have just walked yourself into a nightmare.
He's loyal, and very dedicated. Stubborn at times, and independant, though he isn't afraid to ask for help if he really needs it. He hates it when people see him hurt, or when he has to see others hurt. When he has a mission to complete, he will go to extremes to complete it.

Fears: Being left behind or forgotten, failure, letting his true emotions show, losing the ones he loves

Weaknesses: He is often attacked by horrible night-mares, and loses a lot of sleep because of it. This can leave him exhausted and quite unaware at times, which makes him vulnerable. His left him is weak in the centre, due to an accident in the fire. If you hit it, he'll fall and be in quite a lot of pain.

Prefered Weapon: Swords, daggars, throwing knives and bows and arrows

Strengths: Incredible swordsman, very good survival skills, smart and quick on his feet and in mind, usually quite wise. He can also move silently and sneaks away, around, behind and ahead without making a sound.

Powers: He can control and create dreams, both good dreams and nightmares. (Though he can't use this on himself)
He also has the ability to speak to anybody he knows of through thoughts, no matter where they are. (He often uses this to guide others)
He's got extreme grace as well, which makes him very quick and aids in his sneaking around.
He can control plant growth and bring dead plants back to life
He can create light as well as smother it at will, and this is actually quite a useful tactic in battle
The extra power: He can control wind


Brief History: He lived with his mother and father, three sisters and younger brother until the fire when he was twelve. It took the lives of all but him and his brother, though everybody thinks him dead.
He knows his brother is out there somewhere, and he vows to find him someday.
Every since then, he's lived in the City of the Walkers and trained immensly. He's very well known throughout the city, and very respected.

Up For Love: Mmmhmmmm

Other: He has burn-scars covering his back and chest, but they are always covered.
He wears a black cloak, and usually has his hood up. He has hidden daggars strapped to his legs and weilds two swords at once, he also keeps a bow and quiver of arrows at the ready at all times.

Name: Cypress. Just Cypress.

Age: She's fifteen.

Gender: female

Appearance: Long brown hair that's usually pulled into two low slung braids, and gray-green-blue eyes. Slender and tall.



Personality: She's bold and independent, and tough as anything. She grew up alone, taught herself to read and write, done everything by herself. As a result, she can't stand whiners and people who think their life is sooo awful. But if you get on her good side, she's sweet and helpful, and will give everything to care for you. But usually she's just tough, cold, and the girl everyone stays away from. Even though she knows it's her fault, it still hurts deep down.

Fears: Snakes, the government, sea monsters, the forest at night with no lights, and anything to do with ghosts.

Weaknesses: Has a weak spot between her shoulder blades, gets lightheaded, not a good sleeper, not good with long range, not great aim.

Preferred Weapon: The scimitar- a slightly curved sword, lightweight and fast.

Strengths: sword fighting, hand to hand, strong, fast, knows the city well.

Powers (up to 5): Can manipulate wind: this is more powerful than a gust of air. She can use it to levitate, or boost her speed, or completely devastate a small town. Pretty much the powerhouse part of her set.

Telekinetic: Moving things with her mind. She doesn't have this part quite down, and if she tries to throw a tree trunk, she'll most likely ripple the earth it was in. That being said, it's the power with possibly the most potential, as it is so strong.

Invisibility: Just that. She can completely disappear, though this takes a lot of energy, and she doesn't use it quite as often as wind.

Brief History: Cy was born to a wealthy family- a product of a scandalous affair. Upon learning this, she was disowned and thrown onto the streets. Someone must've taken care of her until she was at least six, she supposes, because she doesn't remember anything except living on the streets. It shows- she's tough and an expert thief. The streets are the only home she knows.

Up For Love: Yerp.

Other: Her father is who gave her the Walker blood.

Her sword, but the hilt of hers is dark blue.



Wears a black cloak with long, slim fitting sleeves and a tall collar that she wears popped, so it hides some of her face, with the hood up. She loves it.

Is at her best if she has two swords- its almost unnatural how well she fights with two blades.

Name: Barke

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Personality: Spontaneous, confusing, irritable, sweet, cocky, usually happy, ambitious, creative, arrogant, hates being wrong, hates admitting his wrongness, hates interruption, but he falls in love easily and likes most people off the spot; in other words, the male version of Raz!

Fears: Girls. Danger is easy to handle, but emotions are scary.

Weaknesses: His mind powers are easily limited, and tire him substantially. He also tends to sweat a lot under pressure, thus making it harder to keep hold of a weapon.

Preferred Weapon: Bow and quiver, or a dagger.

Strengths: Mind power, hand to hand combat, weapon use

Powers (up to 5): Mind control, mind reading, thought sending, mental alteration

Brief History: Born in a forest while mother was on the run for homicide. Mother died and he was found and raised by a wandering hiker. When Barke was seven he left home, just left, and stayed at various houses with various people he "convinces to let him stay with. Sometimes misses the man who raised him, but never enough to go back. Barke enjoys living on his own. He fell in love numerous times, but it all ended up badly. Once he fell in love with a woman he was staying with, and made her feel the same way and asked her hand in marriage. Of course she accepted, under his influence. Then her husband came back into town!

Up For Love: There is only one time in my storybooking career that I haven't been up for love, and it's 'cause I was a bird. No freaking duh.

Name: Kassie

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Appearance:


Personality: (Keep in mind, she is like me, so if you know me, you will understand!) She is crazy and wild. She loves everything, and she loves to do things. She hates being bored, and she's very creative. She is insane, as some say, and she is usually hyper. She is very emotional though, and plenty of things will hurt her. She loves to talk, and she loves to communicate with others. She likes making friends, and meeting new people, and she will do anything for a smile. She's not a girly girl, but she can worry about the way she looks around certain people sometimes.

Fears: She is afraid of being alone, which is why she is friendly.

Weaknesses: Silence drives Kassie insane, so she has to have a constant noise to tell her everything is OK.

Preferred Weapon: Her bow and arrows, and her sword. She uses them both, though she rarely uses her sword unless she is up close to someone.


Strengths: She is a skilled fighter, and she is strong willed, and she knows how to get what she wants.

Powers (up to 5): She can control fire and lightning.

Brief History: She has her father,Glendor,and her step mother, Adella, two older brothers, Jaykob and Kyle, and two younger step sisters, Maria and Marcy, who are twins. She loves her family, no matter how much her sisters annoy her and her brothers bother her. Her first mother died in a fire everyone but her mother escaped when she was seven. Her mother was kind and generous, her father is a giant teddy bear, her older brothers love to fight, and they taught her to fight like a warrior, even though her father and step mother wished she would grow up and marry a prince--as many parents do--and be a young lady. Her family was a rather wealthy family, so they lived in a big house, which she loved. Now, she is happy, and she doesn't really want to leave her home. She is NOT spoiled.

Name: Rule Flayes

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Appearance: There's a picture...

Personality: He never thinks of himself. He he's fearless in that aspect. His protective instinct is strong, very, very strong, especially to the younger ones. He has quite a temper, which can lead to terrible things happening when he's angry. At other times, though, he's nice and compassionate- but only to those who deserve it.

Fears: Losing someone, something happening to someone he loves.

Weaknesses: Sometimes his protective ability goes a little overboard, causing him to do irrational things. He also is a very secretive guy, but tends to trust too much. His past has been very troubled, so he's pretty messed up.

Prefered Weapon: Rapier

Strengths: His protective ability, but only sometimes.

Powers (up to 5): He can see people through paintings and stuff. He can sense people's weaknesses.

Brief History: He doesn't know much. All that he knows is what he remembers, which is less than a year. In that time period, though, he's developed an amazing ability to love and stuff like that.

Up For Love: Yes.

Name: Audrey Wilson (Audie)

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance: Audie stands, to what she believes is tall, at a literally short height of 5'3. She's slim and has all her curves in the right places. She has wild red hair and bright blue eyes as well as straight bright white teeth.



Personality: Audie's very... independent. Fiercely independent. She thinks no matter what it is, she can do it, or she'll be able to do it after the third try. She's not one to give up, and hates it when her friends just give up on something they love. She's a sweetheard though, when she's not being annoyed by her little brothers and sisters, which she has a lot of, considering she's the oldest in the orpganage. She loves each and every one of them though, and will protect them, just like she'd protect her friends, with her life. She stands up fro what she believes in, and believes that no matter what you're going through, things will always get better.

Fears: Growing up, dying alone, the dark, and she's terrorfied of closed in, tight spaces.

Weaknesses: Audie has asthma. If her claustriphobia kicks in, so can her asthma. Same with running, although she's pretty fit, if she over does it her asthma sets in and she can easily have an attack.

Prefered Weapon:

Strengths: Sword-fighting, and her powers

Powers (up to 5): Animal transformation, animal telepathy, animal control, animal summoning, and the power to heal minor wounds. (cuts, burns, gashes, broken bones, etc.) With broken bones though, when she heals it, it feels like its being broken over again, and she can't do anything to soothe the pain unless she knocks you out. Also, she can't heal too much, or she'll pass out. It's one of her strongest powers, but if she heals a stomach wound, she'll more than likely pass out on you from loss of strength once whoever is injured is healed. She can also bring someone to life, but only in exchange for her life or someone elses. xD

Brief History: Audie was born the illegitiment daughter of a duke and a peasant. Her mother, being only fifteen and too young to care for her, put Audie in the orphanage, where she's been for the passed sixteen years of her life. She's trained with the local militia in her swordsmanship, but her true passion is animals, and her powers. She just loves experimenting. Absolutely loves it.

Character Name: Elijah Wyvern

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Personality: a Follower who takes orders quite well, but definetly has a mind of his own. very quiet and controlled, and while he likes peace, his nature is one who tillts toward fighting and chaos. Loyal to his Master first, his ideals second. Curently searching for a new Owner, as he is a living puppet in a sense. is prone to taking the brunt of things on his own, and does not usually have friends. very refined, elegant taste.

Appearance: Dark brown skin, Amythyst purple hair that hangs around his shoulders. quite tall, about 6 feet, 4 inches. Purple eyes, and a thin, athletically lithe form.

Fears: Being alone his whole life, not pleasing his Master or Mistress, making a mistake based on emotions.

Weaknesses: Is prone to overthinking things. Cold and silent, even when he might have a good idea. Somewhat eager to please.

Wulf Wyvern

Wulf is a part of the soul of a dragon bound to serve using magical threads and spells. His specialty is ranged weapons, from the Slingshot he started out with to the twin guns he calls Desert Raven's today. he prefers to fire magic from his finger like a gun. uses either Storm or Wind magic. He is not romantically attached in any way at the moment. He also uses a sheild to fight with. He is looking for a lover deep inside, but does not openly search. Is very refined.
he has been alive for a few centuries, feared for his abitlity to control storms themselves. He ususally serves evil masters and has very rarely known a kind one. He emotionally is unstable and in terrible pain, which he ignores. no one knows what his personality would be like if he were not controlled, as the type of dragon he was created from is quite a special one...

Name: Charnette 'Charna' Serkan (Lady Serkan).

Age: 20.

Gender: Female.

Appearance: Charna is tall, about 5'5, with dark red hair and eyes so dark a murky brown in colour that they often look black. She's often seen wearing a dark blue dress, or a dark shirt and black cotton pants with the Black and Red armour of the house of Serkan.

Personality: Cruel, evil, violent, cold-hearted, fiery, distant, determined and without mercy, Charna is a force to be reckoned with. As a child, she used to be kind, loving and all things good until a certain evil man found her wandering on her own and brought her in. He beat the kindness out of her and replaced it with darkness, with evil. Charna does as he says and has changed because he changed her. Charna does not like these changes and is very afraid of herself. The only thing she kept from her old self was her temper, which is very short, very fiery and sometimes very violent. It's best if you don't make her mad--or then again, maybe you can distract her by making her angry (just call her Charnette). She's also very loyal to her adopted father and his family, his cause.

Fears: She fears herself and what she has become; she wasn't always evil, you know. Charna suffers from a combination of Claustrophobia (fear of small/confined spaces), Nyctophobia (fear of the dark) and Atychiphobia (fear of failure).

Weaknesses: Charna has an injury that she'd prefer you not to know about: she limps and hides it pretty well. If you were to strike her right knee very hard, she would fall. When her 'father' found her, she'd been attacked and her leg had been broken just above the knee, as well as the knee itself being damaged. Take away her ability to use her powers and she's not such a good fighter. She might get angry and distracted if you call her 'Charnette' and not 'Charna'. She hates her full name.

Preferred Weapon: Bow & arrow and her mercy dagger.

Strengths: Charna relies heavily on her powers, even though she knows how to fight, and fight good (and dirty), with a sword, a dagger and the bow. Her favourite, and not to mention preferred, weapon is the bow, as she prefers long range combat to close-quarters combat. She also prefers her mercy dagger: Never think she's unarmed; she always has a dagger stashed somewhere on her person.

Powers (up to 5): Shadow manipulation: Can control the shadows and wrap them around her so she disappears. This is one of her strongest powers.
Metal manipulation: Can call metal to her, twist it, bend it, melt it and shape it, etc. Also a fairly strong power.
Shape shifting: Can change into any animal or person she wishes to, but must shift back before an hour is up or she'll be stuck in that shape for anything from a day to a week. This is her weakest, which is why she only shifts for such a short time (and takes so long to build up the energy to shift back).
Water Manipulation: Can work with water and control it, but only if the water is already there. Freezing, thawing, etc. Controling water drains her strength though and she rarely uses this power. Also a strong power, but rarely used because of it's side effects. Charna might use this if she's desperate and has no other options.

Brief History: When Charna was a child, she had her leg broken and hurt her her knee (both on the right leg), and was limping around a small, quiet town in the south. She was around six years old, and that was when a Lord Serkan (the man she now calls 'Father') found her and took her in. He healed her as best he could and then started teaching her and training her to be a warrior, and not to mention evil. She is now seeking revenge on the walkers, as she believes that they killed her family (even though it was really her 'father'), and is waging her own private war on them. Once she was told the lie, she never stopped believing in it. If you try to turn her, you'll find it's going to take a lot of persuasion to even plant a seed of doubt. Her 'father' has her brainwashed, and from such a young age too.

Up For Love: Yeah, sure--if you can reach her.

Other: She wasn't born evil, and she limps. And her 'father' is a traitor, and a murderer. Do not call her Charnette, she hates it and it's a sure way to piss her off and make her distracted.
