For/Against/Witch: Well, technically he's a wizard.
Appearance:
Spoiler! :
Age when they started using magic: ten
History: Hayden's family was one of wealth and high respect, so when he felled a tree from ten feet away at age ten, it was no surprise he was disowned. He's officially the family's skeleton in the closet, as he was never introduced to the public.
He started just wandering around, living his life as he never would have been able to in his family. When he finally came back to the island four years later, he found that his family had faked his death and was carrying on without even a smudge of guilt for what they had done. He keeps his head down and sticks in the shadows, hoping and praying no one will find the truth.
Personality: Despite his past, he's bright, sweet, outgoing and friendly, a result of being in some of the friendliest places in the world. He loves to tell stories about those places.
Up for love?: Sure.
Theme: Animal, Neon Trees
Other: likes sunny days, it was never revealed to his family that he had returned.
hey, Jude, don't make it bad take a sad song and make it better remember to let it into your heart then you can start to make it better.
I took a deep breath, rolled my head around on my shoulders, and leapt up. I grabbed a brick that pushed out a little, my feet pressed firmly against the wall. I swung my hand up to catch another handhold and started climbing, trying not to make a sound. I hauled myself over the roof and dashed across it. I leapt to the next roof, landing on all fours. I got to my feet and ran across until I reached an open hatch. I dropped through it, landing on my feet.
I sprinted down the hall until I reached an empty room, swerved into it, and shut the door quietly. I wasn't even out of breath. Go me. I closed the curtains and flopped onto the bed, trying to stay silent. Not that hard when there was no one else to talk to. There never had been for me. I pulled my backpack off and rummaged through it until I reached what I was looking for- today's haul. I ate two peaches and a piece of the loaf of bread I had stolen and rezipped my bag.
Ah, the good life. How I loved it so.
And that's when I heard a knock on the door... and saw the knob turn.

It was beautiful outside. The sun was shining upon a layer of newly blanketed snow that looked as smooth as silk and sparkled like a chest of diamonds. A few flowers poked up from underneath the thin layer of snow, looking suffocated. No one knew suffocated like Marissa, though. ~*~ She looked out the small window that was coated in early morning mist. It made it hard to see the beautiful scene below, but Marissa tried to not let that irritate her...much. Frustrated--as usual--she groaned and laid down on her back, her strawberry blonde hair splayed across her shoulders and chest. Marissa fingered the cold, metal necklace she always wore no matter what and began to hum a random tune. It sounded something like the Jaws theme song. "Rissa? Rissa, you up?" Marissa looked over at the half-blind boy that was the same age as her. It was her fault he was this way; stupid witch, she thought of herself. "Y-yeah. I'm up," Marissa sighed, and sat back up to look out the window.

I sat there in the forest near my home for a moment, listening. I was alone, as usual. I needed to find more people like me, so I wouldn't be so alone. As I concentrated, I heard voices, as usual. I sighed. Lately, I had been hearing voices. But they weren't really saying anything much. Mostly just names; Marissa, Sparrow, Hayden, Estelle, Willa, Kiana, Sara. Just names.
Suddenly, I was laying back, and Cana was on top of me, licking my face. And just like that, the voices were gone. I laughed, trying to push the big wolf off of me. She acted more like a cub than a full grown wolf, so I named her Cana, which was Celtic for wolf cub.
I stood up, dusting the dirt off of my clothes, and then patting her head. I walked back through the forest, but froze suddenly when I saw the black smoke raising to the clouds. I ran now, stopping only when I got to the edge of the forest, and skidding down to my knees behind a bush. My house, my home, was covered in flames, people standing around it. My mouth was agape. Not again. They had found me. I ran back through the forest, Cana at my heals. She knew what was happening. This was the fourth time in the past month they had found me, the first time, I had been inside the house. I luckily escaped with only burns on my stomach and mild bruises covering my back.
I heard the voices, louder than before, screaming in my ears, and I fell to the ground, covering my ears, willing them away. Cana stopped with me, growling at something I was unable to hear. I felt a presence, but it was human, as usual. I screamed, and a hand came to my back.
