SARLA IS IN AN UPROAR...
The criminal situation is getting too far out of hand. The citizens are living in terror, kissing their loved ones good-bye rather than good-night before drifting off into restless sleeps. They are begging their king to do something about it.

The king and queen of Sarla have decided upon a solution. Tomorrow they will release one hundred elite soldiers and trackers into the land to track down the country's most feared criminals. What they're doing is for the love of their people and the safety of their son and daughter. Their peoples' needs are what comes first, and safety is one of those needs. If only they could somehow see the other side of things....

The criminals have lived lives of fear and torment. What they do is all they know. It's survival. They've seen things that nobody could ever wish to see, their lives have been void of love and acceptance by society. The way they see it, they have nowhere else to turn. Thhey may or may not realise the pain and fear they're causing Sarla, but they need to survive just as much as the citizens.

It's a battle for survival, a battle for peace and a battle for the fate of Sarla.




Rules
-No godmodding/creating perfect characters
-Keep romance at a 16 level. (No descriptive sex scenes)
-No killing other people's characters without their permission
-Create and kill off NPC's at will
-Cussing is definately allowed, but try not to over-do it
-Posts should be kept above 550 characters. Please use proper captialization and paragraphs and all of that stuff....
-Weaknesses need to be REAL and need to affect your character in a way that matters (illnesses, physical disadvantages, ect...)
-Keep other peoples' characters in-character

Gender: Female
Appearance:pale skin and dark midnight blue eyes and her hair is down past her waist with a naturally occuring red streak on the left side. She has a scar running along her left cheek bone. she is actually very beautiful but she doesn't think so and her curves are in all the right places. Has a smile that she shows rarely but when she does everyone is instantly happy. She loves dark clothes even on the hottest days. Wears a silver pentagram and an ankh.

Personality: She is a firm believer in freedom and free will. She is a very sweet and well mannered girl is very kind and understanding and brilliant, she is very well thought and sarcastic she isn't afraid to speak her mind she is also very sweet, funny, optimistic, sassy, bold, courageous, and a good listener. She can make friends with anyone or anything with in a few minutes. She can be childish at times . She has a very quick temper. She is very good at keeping her face a blank mask and her emotions in check. She has nerves of steel.


Skills:She is a brilliant researcher and can recall every single thing she has ever read. She has a photographic memory. She is brilliant at reading lips. She can fight with anything you give her even her bare hands. She is fiercly loyal to her friends and fellow criminals even if they don't like her and will put her life on the line for them. If worse comes to worse she can be seductive but enjoys her smarts. She can read people and tell things that have happened in their past the reason she never found out.
Weaknesses:She is very hot tempered and is not afraid to speak her mind. She broke her wrist when she was younger and every now and then it goes numb and she has to force it to move. Suffers from intense headaches especially after using a large amount of magick.
History:Her parents and sister abandoned her when she was 5 she has been alone and has raised herself. She saved Shanaela's butt in a raid and they have been friends ever since.

Other: Has a black pet wolf named Fang. If you come between her and Fang when she is in trouble or hurt you want to run. If you hurt one her friends she will rip you limb from limb literally. Has insomnia is Wiccan and can remember thousands of chants and spells and spell ingredients. She doesn't like when people are afraid of her. She is very artistically, musically and mentally gifted.

Name: Shanaela Marz

Age: 18

Personality: She's an incredibly secretive person. She acts cold and cruel, but it's only because she's afraid. It's hard to earn her trust and she is easily scared off. She's got bite, however, and isn't afraid to defend herself or others. She can be incredibly feisty and is known to put up a good fight without hesitation. If you do earn her trust and friendship, she will do anything to keep you safe and is very loyal.

Skills: She is an incredible fighter. She knows martial arts and is an excellent swords-woman. She does good with knives as well. She've very agile and can sneak around undetected. You do not want to catch her at a bad time as she can very easily snap your neck. She's also a very good climber and plays a mean flute.

Weaknesses: She is incredibly cautious around people and is afraid of nearly everybody, though she won't show how weak she really is. She also gets horrible headaches at sponateous times and doesn't know how to stop them. When they come, they're horrible. She's passed out once or twice from them.

History: Her mother died giving birth to her and her father used her to do his dirty work. He was a theif, smuggler and avid gambler. He trained Shanaela to be a theif and a fighter since when she was young. Her father did love her, but he had a hard time figuring out how to show it. Her father was murdered by a group of gamblers he refused to pay a debt to. They're still hunting down Shanaela, though she has told nobody, not even Raven.

Up for love: She is, but she won't be easy to get to. He'll need to be a pretty stubborn guy

Other: She's been mute ever since birth, but she doesn't see it as a weakness. She uses a notebook and a pen to talk to others and if you're good enough at reading lips, she'll use that too. She's a very feared criminal and there is a high price on her head, which serves a problem considering she's being hunted. She has a pet leopard named Shanti. Oh, and don't get between Shanti and a hurt Shanaela. Bad things will happen. She has known Raven for a while now and the two get along rather well.

Name: Jaykob Austin Thorne

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Criminal/Soldier/Royalty: Criminal

Personality: Jay is a womanizer. Completely and totally. However, he uses his charms in his criminal acts. He usually seduces women, steals their belongings and then, if it comes to it, kills them. He is a hopeless romantic, and would give anything to find the one that could stop his seducing. He also loves to tease and be sarcastic.

Skills: His suducting, great with a knife, expert skinner and amazing at silently killing and gambling

Weaknesses: Women, tears, and alchohol.

History: Jay is really royalty, the disowned son of a king living in a faraway kingdom. His mother was a seductress, who the king had a secret affair with, and at word of Jay's birth, had the woman killed. She left Jay with his uncle, who was really an undercover spy for the dark ones. Jay followed in his uncles footsteps eventually, going through women like old newspaper to find the one that will stop him.

Up for love: Si, senorita

Other: Jay has a pet panther named Snook, who can transform into anything at Jay's command.

Name: Shadow *Shade*

Criminal/Soldier/Royalty: Royalty

Personality: She keeps to herself, she is nonviolent, but often morbid. She cares more about everyone else, and will risk her life for them, even if she doesn't know them. She loves her stuffed bear and carries it with her wherever she goes.

Skills: Very good at combat, and she is very good at sneaking around

Weaknesses: She con not sneak around a lot during the day, thus ruining that idea for her.

History: What is there to say? She was born in royal family, but she's not stuck up like most royal people.

Up for love: YES!

Name: Keiko Reid


Age: 14


Gender: Female


Appearance: Keiko is thin and athletic, and always has a smile on her face (metaphorically, my dear.). She has thick eyelashes and plump lips, and bright violet eyes. What you always see first, though, is her bright turquoise hair. Since it gives her away sometimes, she wears a black beanie over it a lot. Think picture without beauty mark.





Criminal/Soldier/Royalty: Criminal: she's a natural thief, and occasionally an assassin.


Personality: Keiko is spunky and outgoing, with a lot of love and caring soul- if you can gain her trust. It's not incredibly hard, but don't think she'll be your best bud right off the bat. She has to know exactly who you are before she'll let you in. She will do anything for those she loves, and can be insanely tough, almost cruel, when she wants to.


Skills: She's light on her feet and smart as heck. She is incredibly stealthy and hardy, can climb like she's half-monkey, and is great at hand-to-hand combat. Good with a blade and can bear pain well. She functions well in the cold, or at night. Is not a sucker for cute guys, and will not get distracted by them. An excellent liar.


Weaknesses: She is an absolute waste if you give her a cannon (though that's rather rare) or sword. She doesn't have great aim, and when the sword twirls, she's likely to accidently drop it. If she sees something pretty, expensive, or even just shiny, she'll likely steal it without a second thought. She's easily distracted and twitchy (earning her the nickname 'Twitch'), and cannot function under heat. She also has extreme trouble sleeping, and depends heavily on caffeine and sugar.


History: Keiko has a darker past than she lets on. Her father beat her because she looked too much like her mother, who left them when Keiko was barely eight months old. Her brothers teased and taunted her about her bruises and cuts. Eventually, she fought back, and was kicked out of the house for it, at age ten. Once free, she dyed her hair permanently turquoise and started stealing to survive. She's just gotten bigger and better since then.


Up for love: Psh, only of course! (I'm already planning something out for her.)


Other: She always wears a silver chain with a small sapphire butterfly charm on it because it was her first steal. She can't sleep at night because that's when her father would beat her, and she has nightmares about those days. She fell in with Shanaela's group after saving them from getting caught by a butcher by saying they weren't from here and didn't know the laws when she was twelve.

Name: Taleon
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: He's tall and has dark, short, slightly spiked black hair.
Criminal/Soldier/Royalty: Criminal.
Personality: He's stubborn, but caring. Although he doesn't like admitting it he can make friends really easily and is generally just likable.
Skills: He's good at being sneaky, theivery, and he also has a past of murder so he's good at that, even though he hates himself for it.
Weaknesses: Makes decisions too rashly. Isn't very rational.
History: His parents were rich but when they died he ran away from it. He killed for money but eventually realized how terrible it was and took up theivery.
Up for love: Um, heck yah.

Name: Hunter Collins


Age: 15


Gender: Male


Appearance: Hunter is tall and lean, with wiry muscles, dark brown hair, and bright blue eyes. He smiles nearly as often as Keiko. He has a tattoo of a blue shooting star on the inside of his left forearm that's rather well known, so he usually wears long sleeved jackets when they're in the city. He's a good looking boy, and flirts without even knowing he is. He has a scar on the side of his neck where a sword grazed him in his early days.




Criminal/Soldier/Royalty: Criminal


Personality: Although not nearly so much as Keiko, Hunter is one of the more outgoing of the group. He is a great guy, sweet and honest, and is best friends with Keiko. However, you only see that side of him if you're in the group. If he doesn't trust or know you, he's about as cold and distant as the Antarctic. He is rather pushy, and sometimes doesn't know when to stop. He protects what he loves and cares about with everything he has. If he's upset, he is a living nightmare, however.


Skills: Friendly, so people trust him quicker, therefore granting him access to anything he needs from them. Doesn't feel guilty about much. Very good with any type of weapon you put in his hands. Clever and quick thinking. He doesn't get easily distracted, and can endure pretty much anything. He's loyal, and can drive just about anything on the face of the earth. Stealthy and open minded. Fast runner.


Weaknesses: Is a complete sucker for crying girls. He has a need for speed that often leads to dangerous situations. If put under too much stress or pain, he'll pass out. His friendliness will often upset people who wish to be left alone. Is not a morning person. At all. Sometimes grates on other people's nerves, as his outgoingness can pass off as just annoying. He has an intense fear of snakes, and will completely blank out at the mere mention of one. HORRIBLE liar.


History: Hunter was an orphan. When he was eight, he was booted out of the orphanage because they needed more room. Like Keiko, he stole to live, and it just became second nature. He basically raised himself, and led a carefree life. One day, he was caught swiping a few gold coins from a guard (the source of his scar), and had to run from his life as a market thief. Outside the market, he found life harsh, and hardened himself with it. He stumbled upon Shanaela's group walking through the forest one night after a particularly successful steal, and was accepted in.


Up for love: Yup. (I have a plan for him...)


Other: Hates the color green with a passion. Is rather scared of Raven. Hates, hates, hates it when people are upset. Often finds food for the group.

Personality: She is quiet, and very obedient to Davis. Some people wonder why she thieves when she is so kind-hearted and loves helping people. She often goes deep in thought... wondering why she feels so off about Davis.

Skills: Is swift and agile, can move without being seen, is strong for her size

Weaknesses: Trusts everyone way to easily, often gets sidetracked, especially if it's to help someone

History: She has always been with Davis, that she can remember, but she doesn't remember anything else about her past.

Up for love: If or when she finds out davis is lying to her, then yes

Other: It's quite obvious she know's davis is up to something

Personality: He is kindhearted, when he wants to be... besides that he's manipulative ans shifty. He'll back stab you and know think twice about it.

Skills: Lying, and he is very strong, he can tell when someone is lying to him

Weaknesses: Some times he trusts the wrong people. is definitely not modest, and would probably sell Clare if he needed the money.

History:
Up for love: He knows Clare's past, but she hated him. So when he found her with amnesia he kidnapped her and told her they were together. Of course she believes him. He had a big family, but he didn't get along with them, so he ran away from them.

Up for love: Nope, he has Clare right were he wants her

Other: He won't tell just anybody about Clare's past, only the people he trusts, which sometimes is the wrong person... but he usually takes Clare and runs before they tell her anything.

Age: 43

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Criminal/Soldier/Royalty: Royalty

Personality: He is incredibly caring and will do anything for his family and his people. He can become quiet heartless when it comes to the criminals, but it's only because he can't see their side of things. He isn't a temermental man and tries to be fair. He has a knack for thinking things through fully before acting out.

Skills: He is incredibly intelligent and can be quite wise. He is a great plan-maker and an amazing leader with the ability to care for his people and listen to their problems. He's quick on his feet and is fairly fit.

Weaknesses: He isn't the best with combat of any kind. If he needs to, he can fight, but he isn't great at it. At all actually.

History: He is following in his father's footsteps as king of Sarla. His brother was heir to the throne, but he was killed in a battle with a distant country when Torran was only twelve. He met the queen during a trip to the village, and despite his father's intentions on having him marry a rich woman, he fell in love.

Up for love: Dude...he's married...yeah no. (He loves his wife irrevocably though )

Other: He always has guards around him due to the fact that he isn't the best fighter. He's also got a love for animals and has a pet lion named Glug. (The king let the prince named him when he was a little boy...)

I call the prince I guess, even though I already have someone! Also, I may just change Jayke into a good guy, considering the lack-there-of
