Dragon Riders

Basic Plot: You have passed through your childhood as Dragon Rider apprentices. You have chosen your dragon, and are now a Dragon Rider. You and some chosen others are now sent on a quest through the Land of Sharlohw (made-up name for those who are wondering.) To defeat the Ones of the Shadows, who ride dragons of shadow, and have dark powers that are forbidden in the Land of Sharlohw. These fiends must be destroyed at all costs, before they destroy the Sharlowh and all who inhabit it. You are allowed two weapons, and your dragon. Be careful, young rider, the lives of millions are in your hands.

Stuff You Need to Know:

Dragons come in the following Elements:

-Fire: Usually Red or deep brown.
*Extra hot flames, capable of sustaining and producing more flame then other dragons
*Most Brave of all Dragons
*Gives Rider the power to touch flames without being burned, and produce small amounts of flame from hands
-Water: Usually Blue or Silver.
*Flames actually liquid fire, so are harder to quench, can swim in the water, something that is dangerous to other dragons
*Most Calm of all Dragons
*Gives Rider the power to breath under water, and small scale manipulation of water
-Earth: Usually Green or Light Brown
*Flames are a deep brown color, and actually leave behind small amounts of plant life when they are quenched
*Most Strong of all Dragons
*Gives Rider the power to manipulate plants or dirt, on a small scale
-Storm: Usually White or Gray
*Usually are better at flying, can fly through storms, And their fire is actually lightning
*Most Quick of all Dragons
*Gives Rider the power to manipulate lightning on a small scale

Every dragon is a Purebred, no hybrids.

Enemy Dragons: (not available to good guys, just here to let you know about them)
-Shadow: Dark Gray to Pitch black (Most common enemy Dragon)
*Flames are Black, and cause utter destruction
*Most Daring of all Dragons
*Gives Rider the power to manipulate the shadows, on a small scale
-Ghost: Deathly white (Reserved for Royal enemies only)
*Fire is deathly white, instills fear into ones who are consumed by it
*Most Intelligent of all Dragons
*Gives Rider small scale power over fear in enemies

Riders and Dragons have a special connection. When the Rider is in trouble, the Dragon senses it, and vice versa. Riders ride their dragon. (That was put there for those who didn't get it.)

*No extra powers without permission. PM me if you want to include one other special power later. And it can't be invincibility, or mind control, or anything like that.
*I don't think it would be fair if there are a million girls, and one guy to fight over, (or vice versa) so please keep genders even.
*Please keep the Good and Evil ratio fair too, (but more good please) cause evil wouldn't be a threat if there is only one Evil Rider, and there are a trillion Good riders, and vice versa.
*No killing another Rider or their Dragon just cause you want to. Please PM them for permission to kill off their Rider or Dragon.
*You must post at the very least Once every week , or it will be taken you are uninterested, and your spot will be given up for someone who will post.

Age: 17

History: He grew up and was raised in the Dragon Rider Training Academy-or whatever-. Dragon riding is his life and he's very good at it. He chose Shadow, his dragon, when he was just an egg and has been training with him for all his life. He knows nothing of his mother or father, he's been on his own since the beginning.
Dragon Type: Ghost Dragon
Connection with Dragon: He has a strong connection with Shadow, being able to read the dragon's thoughts and sense his feelings. They have sort of a mental bond, they know when the other's hurt and where the other is at all times.
Likes/Dislikes: Likes: dragons, flying, mountain tops, swimming, the moon, fighting, and exploring. Hates: losing, people who talk to much, being crowded, and weak fighters.
Flaws/Good Points: Flaws: his temper. Good points: his fighting skills.
Habits: He has a habit of pulling on his hair when he's worried, thinking, nervos, angry, etc.
Other: He's really a sweet guy but just comes off as hard and mean when the situation calls for it(( during a fight, when he's giving orders, etc.)) --

Age: A bit younger than Natas, so around 16 in dragon years.
Gender: Male
Element: Ghost :]

Personality: No-nonsense like his master when it comes to command or fighting times but, like Natas, is cool and laid back when there is no immediate threat.
Other: Will only follow the commands of his master unless Natas states otherwise.

Name:Alice Violet

Age:(14-18): 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Deep black hair. When light hits it at the right angle it has a tinge of purple. She has stormy gray eyes and all she ever wears is purple, red, black, and gray.

Personality: Alice has a dark spirit but can also be loving. She does anything she can to please her rulers.

History: Ever since she was a little girl she had wanted to work for the royal family. Her parents served the royal family as well.

Dragon Type: (Please list Dragon's element, and your power because of it (No making up your own, just restate what the power is from what I wrote. Just to be fair)): Shadow. Alice has the ability to manipulate shadows.

Connection with Dragon: (good, bad, unbearable, amazing, ect. describe it!): amazing

Likes: Pleasing the royal family, achieving goals and missions,

Dislikes: Disappointing the royal family, failing to achieve goals/missions

Flaws: Alice has a weakness to some people on the good side due to her sister who is on the good side (I'm not making a character for her). She also tends to get carried away.

Element:Shadow

Appearance: Ash is pitch black and has eyes just like Alice's.

Personality: Follows orders from the royalties and Alice. Ash is much like her master, which is why they get along so well.

Other: Er, I guess if dragons can be up for love she is.

Name: Nalani Lynne
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Appearance: Long light blue hair, tallish, Clam-Water blue eyes.

Personality: Calm, relaxed, Rarely shows any outward sign of anger or resentment. Is the type of person you can open up to. Very Trusting, Optimist, Dreamer, Super generous, Understanding.
History: Lived with wonderful people most of her childhood, most of her childhood friends disappeared mysteriously. She remembers one boy she'd play with all the time, one day the sun was covered with shadow and he disappeared after she ran to hide. She frowns in sadness at this memory, but refuses to let it get her down. Most of her life was good.
Dragon Type: Water Dragon, she has the power to breath under water, and small scale manipulation of water
Connection with Dragon: Good friendship with her Dragon.
Likes/Dislikes: Likes: Peace, no fighting, calm places, being with friends. Dislikes: Anybody who threatens peace or her friends, reckless behavior.
Flaws/Good Points: Flaws: To generous of a person, too much of a dreamer. Good Points: calmness in battle (usually), calms others down, The type of person that is friends with everyone, and is happy and grateful for what she has
Habits: Tends to calm other people down. Twirls her hair a lot, tends to get deep in thought easily
Other: Has rare moments of extreme outbursts of anger and fierceness. But that is SUPER rare.

Name: Mandara
Age: A little older then Nalani, so about 18 in Dragon years
Gender: Female
Element: Water
Appearance: Silver with a lot of hints of Blue

Personality: Calm, like her Rider. Except shows diffrent emotions more often. More protective then a normal Dragon
Other: Keeps Nalani safe, no matter what.

(( I guess, since Ghost dragons are for the royals, Natas's parents could be king and queen or something, but sent him away to the Academy at a young age. He'll find out later about his family, but, for now, he's just the leader figure. I suppose I should edit my profile and put this in, but I'm way too lazy for that. :] ))
