Edward gave a small, distracted nod.
"He must know something they don't," he guessed. He didn't know if that something was good or not - he just hoped it wouldn't impact them that much.
Edward resisted the urge to sigh. He was starting to get to a point where he was just reluctantly accepting everything. The strange arrival in the woods, the slow fall into the underground cavern, the people in this town, and the boy would have made his head spin on their own, but now it was just starting to become another twist in a very long day.
