In a desperate attempt to end the mayhem, a man known as Professor Otto created a machine known as the World Master 9000, made 3 Alternate earths and sent groups of people to live on them.
At first his idea seemed to work, until the people sent to those earths began to return, dead and riddled with strange burn marks. No one knows what attacked them or how.
