Mageheart says...

I ruffled up Eddie's hair - in the back of my mind, I remembered being treated the same way when I was a kid. I had liked it a lot, then. Hopefully Eddie was the same way.

I looked back up at Megara as soon as I stopped messing with Eddie's hair.

"Well," I said, "I plan on leaving through the front door."

I knew that was what she was actually talking about, but I admittedly didn't really have a plan for that. I'm sure she guessed that, too - I hadn't been exactly subtle. If I had known exactly what to do or where to go, we'd have already done it.

The door to my room opened with a soft creak.

I heard Nathaniel slipped out into the hallway.

"It took you long enough," I said. Nathaniel just rolled his eyes; a little while away, I heard Asmira give a sigh.

roleplaying is my platonic love language.

queer and here.

"You're wrong about humanity. They are your greatest creation because they're better than you are. Sure, they're weak, and they cheat and steal and destroy and disappoint, but they also give and create, and they sing and dance and love. Above all, they never give up."
