"I agree," Engel quietly added, straightening after giving Artemis what would have been a smile if he had a face. He began to search the room for something that could be a sign of what had happened here. It was still impossible to tell what exactly he was looking for.
Bo followed suit, aimlessly searching the foreign room with a constantly present mild confusion. Everything looked so much different than anything he'd seen before. It was... shiny and metallic. He didn't have words to describe it.
Artemis sticks close to Thanatos as they investigate. He doesn't move far, however, just to the center of the room before he pulls off his gloves and begins manipulating a slowly-coalescing shape of pale energy that forms in his hands.
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
Geist was in the middle of searching the room when he noticed the strange energy forming out of the corner of his eyes. Discarding his investigation, he made his way over to Thanatos and stared at the energy. "What's that for?" he asked, reaching a hand out to touch the energy.
"I would advise that you don't touch," he says. "It's been known to kill living beings on occasion - or, at least, I have. It's to see if the etherial realm has anything to offer."
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
"To be honest, I am unsure of the specific science behind my magic. However, it is a kind of trade - I spend energy to create this, and that amount varies on what I'm doing," he replies, kneeling and placing the pale stuff on the ground.
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
