Plot:
A thousand years ago, seven bloodlines came together to create a clockwork artefact imbued with the essence of a great beast. It was meant to protect the people, but it failed. Instead, it turned wide swaths of fertile farmland into barren wastes, and turned those caught in its grasp into something else entirely. The Bloodlines worked tirelessly to fix their mistakes and eventually it cost them their lives. The artefact faded into obscurity, disappearing from all known records, along with the truth of what they’d done.
But now, a thousand years later, the artefact has apparently resurfaced, and in the Imperial Palace. At the request of a mysterious woman, seven strangers—descendants of the original bloodlines—come together on a mission to infiltrate the Palace. They must overcome mechanical guards, elaborate locks, sinister traps and the Imperial Heir themself.
The plan was to gain access to the palace during a masquerade ball for the Heir’s inauguration, and then to sneak away to retrieve the artefact. The real challenge would come in getting back out and getting the artefact back to the place where it was originally made; The Frozen Falls.
Will you join a quest that may or may not take you all down a very dark path? Or will you stay in the tainted light, blind and loyal to a cause that could destroy you all?
