Kyou raised an eyebrow. Raiden was acting even stranger than Kaminari did when he used too much electricity, and he desperately wished he knew why. It was clear that he was trying to hide something. But why hide information about an anime? He let out a frustrated sigh. He didn't like when he couldn't figure things out, and the mystery surrounding the anime made it all the more enticing.
"If you're not going to tell me what it's about, can you at least tell me what BnHA stands for?" he asked. "I'll just look it up when I get home, and then you don't have to keep avoiding it."
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
Sorry!! Life hit and I forgot about this place! Whoops
Raiden sighed. "If you were in 1-A this might've been easier," he mumbled, though it came out louder and clearer than he had intended. "Boku no Hero Academia, that's what it stands for," he finally said, letting out a heavy sigh. Now that he thought about it, he wondered why it had been so hard, and why he was evading.

Two possibilities exist: Either we are alone in the universe, or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.

He furrowed his brow. "I don't-I don't understand. I am in Class 1-A. And, what is My Hero Academia a slice of life or something? It sounds like a really cheesy name for a story about heroes going to school."
"...no you're not," Raiden said, his own brow furrowing in confusion "You're saying you're in the same class as Bakugou, Deku, Kaminari and the rest of em?"

"Yeah," he said. Isn't that what he had just said? He had said he was in 1-A, and his uniform was from the U.A. What other 1-A would there be? "I didn't get that far this year in the sports festival because of my quirk, so you might not have seen much of me during it. But I'm in the class."
"He is right here," he said. An anime character? What was she talking about? He couldn't be one. He was living and breathing and definitely not animated. Even more so, he wouldn't have done so badly in the sports festival if he was one - he would have excelled! After all, wouldn't he have been the protagonist?
Unless, of course, it was someone else.
Someone with a more impressive Quirk.
Someone who seemed to have countless rivals among his classmates, with an incredibly charismatic personality and was somehow All Might's favorite student even when they had barely begun the school year.
He paled. "Midoriya is the protagonist, isn't he? And I'm-I'm..."
A side character, wasn't he? One so unmemorable that Raiden couldn't even remember him when he first introduced himself. Side characters rarely got character arcs. Did that mean he was forced to be a failure? That all of his hard work to get into the hero course would ultimately amount to nothing?
"...It still doesn't make sense; how many people are in your class? 20?" Raiden asked, scratching his chin, though he knew he should've been trying to comfort him rather than asking him more questions.

"Excuse me, but, to clarify, you know where Kyou comes from, which is actually an anime, and, you, Kyou, are familiar with more than the setting but also the characters to which Raiden references?"

"Well, things happen in mysterious ways," commented Li He, waving a hand nonchalantly."I mean, I met a guy named Cornyx that same time the haunted hotel got blown up. Quite dangerous, that one." She glanced sideways at Cornyx.
