Moonlily
She and Willowpaw walked the borders of Wind Clan and talked of quite a while about many things. Moonlily found Willowpaw to be very mpsmart and agile but too shy to let that show through much. Moonlily was determined to become very close to Willowpaw and by the end of the walk, she felt that she had succeeded but then they saw a cat laying in the grass.

Willowpaw
"Who is that Moonlily?!" She felt scared and fought the instinct to hide behind Moonlily. But that was for kits so she stood at Moonlily's shoulder, feeling rather safe with her mentor.

Moonlily
"I'm not sure, it certainly isn't one of ours and that smell is hideous. It seems to be dead but...I feel as if I remember a story about some evils cats that where supposed to smell like this-twoleg city place, olily water and blood. Stay back Willowpaw, we should go report this to Sleekthorn so that he can send out the proper patrol."

Willowpaw
Willowpaw nodded and stayed quietly as Moonlily's side as they crept past. Finally, they entered camp and she thought her legs would fall off from all of the walking but Willowpaw carried on and followed Moonlily into Sleekthorn's den where they reported what they had found.

Scar

Scar weakly got up and followed the scent but he dropped on Windclan's territory. He was weak and limp.

Sleekthorn

"A what?" He stood tall. "Erg, I've told those rascals to stay off our land. Show me where this loner is." he snarled.

Moonlily
"Okay Sleekthorn." She led the way with the rest at her shoulder until they came appon the place where the wonderous cat has been but saw not hide or tail of the cat. Willowpaw found his scent and they all followed her until they came appon the cat lying on the ground.

Sleekthorn

Sleekthorn placed his ears back and he growled, "Scar..."

Willowpaw
She saw how scrawny this cat was as she pushed her head against Moonlily, closing her eyes. It was her first day out of the nursery and she was looking at a cat who was just skin and bone. His eyes where sunken in and he was odviously sick, starved and dehydrated.

Moonlily
Moonlily blocked derect contact to Willowpaw from Scar, not wanted her young apprentice to be hurt but she also didn't know this cat and she was almost just as bewildered when Sleekthorn knew this cat's name. Moonlily remained silent, not wanting to show any weakness towards this cat at not knowing it's history. Knolage was one of the most powerful weapons a cat could use-so long as he played it correctly.

Scar

Scar weakly opened his eyes, and his vision was blurry. "H-Help..."

Sleekthorn

Sleekthorn sighed, not knowing what to do. Scar was a loner now. He still had a heart though. "Moonlily, get a few warriors. We're going to help him."

Moonlily
"Yes, sir." She dashed off, leaving Willowpaw to stand behind Sleekthorn. She quickly returned with two warriors and an apprentice.

Sleekthorn

He commanded the group and they all helped Scar up, covering all sides and they traveled back to the camp, bringing Scar to the medics. Scar was his brother. He couldnt leave him behind.

Sparrowpelt, Medicine Cat of ThunderClan

Sparrowpelt rummaged through the medicine den. "Where is that watermint?" he muttered. He never made mistakes like this.

Perhaps it was because he'd dreamed of WindClan and a scrawny rogue. Perhaps it was because he had seen fighting and blood. Darkness was coming.

And Sparrowpelt refused to just wait for it to destroy his Clan.

Rainstorm of ThunderClan

"Sparrowpelt?" called Rainstorm. "Are you in there?" When no reply came, she sighed. "He must have gone looking for herbs without telling anyone."

It was hard to believe that they were littermates.

Suddenly, she remembered the threat. Her brother was out in the forest alone.

Hawksong of ThunderClan

"Hawksong!"

Hawksong turned to see Rainstorm running towards her. A look of panic was in her eyes.

"Come with me!" she ordered. "Help me find Sparrowpelt. He's out in the forest by himself. It's dangerous."

Clovetail
Clovetail was enjoying some freshkill in her den, when she saw Sleekthorn and Moonlily lugging in a weak, limp cat. CLovetail immediately sprang to her paws and rushed over.
"Oh dear, what happened?" she asked.
"This-loner-" puffed Sleekthorn, "Weak- needed help."
Clovetail nodded and went over to the old loner.
"Moonlily, go fetch some cobwebs so I can stop any bleeding. Also fetch some catmint. He has a severe case of greencough." Moonlily nodded and dashed away. Clovetail sat down beside the dying cat and prayed to Starclan. Starclan help me...

Moonlily

Moonlily dashed off and quickly returned it a large paw-full of cobwebs when Clovertail excepted it, she ran into the medicen cat den and looked around at all the herbs. It was very confusing but she couldn't forget the smell and look of catmint after she had been forced to eat it everyday for two weeks to help her fight off whitecough as a kit. She grabbed the plant and returned with it, laying at Clovertail's paws. "Here you go." She said breathlessly

Willowpaw
Willowpaw watched her mentor and was surprised to see that she knew anything about herbs but the quickly whore off when her brother, Stripepaw, approached. She explained what had happened and how she had found the scent-trail but Stripepaw just mocked her that because she had a she-cat for a mentor, that Willowpaw wouldn't be as good as him. Willowpaw remained quiet and watched Clovertail work.

Sparrowpelt of ThunderClan

Sparrowpelt wove through the trees, running as fast as his legs could carry him. He neared the WindClan border and tasted the air. Sure enough, there was the strong smell of WindClan along with the sour scent of a sick, injured rogue. They had been here, just recently.

Sparrowpelt had missed them.

Nightgaze

Nightgaze padded into the medicine den searching for his apprentice. "Stripepaw," he meowed. "Come along, rascal. There's a mouse in the clearing that I want you to catch."

Nightgaze flicked his tail and looked at Moonlily. He gave a small bow to the warrior. His eyes lit up when they met hers but he looked away, nudging Stripepaw into the clearing.

Stripepaw

"Coming Nightgaze!" He got up and ran to his mentor, stopping only when he saw the mouse but he quickly took up a crouch and jumped at the mouse, missing by a fox length. "Why can I catch the pice of fox-dung!" He was very mad at himself, feeling that he had practice so much as a kit that he should have made that catch.

Moonlily
She smiled to Nightgaze and watched his eyes light up. She wondered at why he would be so happy that she noticed him. Perhaps he liked her? She shook her head, this was no time to think about that. A rouge was sick and in camp and Clovertail needed help.

Willowpaw
Willowpaw sighed, thankful to have her annoying brother gone.

Nightgaze

Nightgaze shook his head, "Stripepaw, don't get mad. You've done well, kid. Try again."

The mouse scuttled back and ran around. Nightgaze instructed him, watching closely. "Get closer and sneak, Stripepaw." he whispered.

Scar

Scar wheezed, opening his eyes. "Sleekthorn..?" he whispered.
