"You allowed them to escape?" the low velvety voice came from the pitch black throne.

"Forgive me, my Lord." Yessi kneeled and looked at the ground.

"It was a good thing, my love." Amord stood and walked to hold up Yessi's chin. "You have showed them that we accept Cole's threat to kill me. My spies have informed me of their decision to visit the Bahamas." Amord smiled, amazing white glowing in the darkness. His dark violet eyes held a mystery. "Would you care for a vacation?"

Yessi stood and smiled slightly. "Not at all, my Lord."

"How easily could we get a private plane?" Sapphire asked.

Cole pulled out his wallet, "pretty easily."

"Oh my god!" Sapphire suddenly remembered, "my grandparents are going to kill me!"

"You can call them from the air," Sytri suggested, "then there's really nothing they can do."

"What should I say?"

"Tell the truth."

"The truth? Thats a one way ticket to the loony bin."

"I'll bust you out," Cole assured.

Sapphire rolled her eyes. "It was a joke. And yes, they will kill me!" She sighed. "Oh well, I'll be glad to be getting out of there anyway."

"It couldn't have been that bad," Cole insured.

"Nothing but old fashioned gowns," she faked a shiver, "and no boy friends, my grandparents are still living in the 19th centuary"

"Actually the 19th centuary wasn't all that bad," Cole teased.

"You're that old?"

"No, but I'm pretty close."

Sytri was shivering continuously. "Come on you two!"
She repositioned Sebastian on her back.
"I'm a little jittery right now..."
She glared at another passenger, wandering past towing a suitcase on wheels. "What are you looking at?" She growled, sending the woman off in the other direction.
Cole rolled his eyes. "Come on, before Sytri has a breakdown amd puts us temporarily in jail."
"Temporarily?" Sapphire asked.
"The walls aren't that thick." Cole grinned.

Sapphire rolled her eyes and held onto his arm so they wouldn't get separated. Together they walked up to the desk. Sytri stayed somewhat behind so they wouldn't freak anyone out with a petite woman carrying a bulky blue male.

"How much is a private jet avaliable to fly tonight?"

"We don't offer that service sir."

Cole pulled out his pocket book, and opened it far enough so she could see the number of bills inside. "How much?"

"Um.." she pushed a few buttons on her computer, "avaliable tonight, a thousand dollars, its not a jet, but its the cheapest."

"Curtians on it right?"

"Of course."

Cole pulled out a few hundred dollar bills and some twenties. after he paid he was given the tickets he returned with Sapphire still clinging to his arm to Sytri and Sebastian.

He couldn't help but notice how good Sapphire's blood smelled as she held onto his arm. He drove the demon in him away, taking on human, and he enjoyed the general smell of her.

Sytri watched Cole make his way back to her, Sapphire holding his arm. Shaking her head impatiently, she watched a little kid take one look at her and sebastain and run screaming.
"I don't blame him." She muttered to herself before turning her attention back to Cole.
"So? Did you get it?"
Cole nodded. "Did you ever doubt me?"
Sytri grinned in spite of her discomfort. "When do we leave?"
She glanced out the windows to the runway. How do those flimsy human-made craft stay in the sky?
Cole answered. "Later tonight."
Sytri nodded. "Do we have a private lounge? We are scaring the mortals."
"I'm sure I can arrange something."

Oy to the vey, i'm losing my internet soon guys so i won't be able to post a lot, just don't forget about me, and i'll post whenever I can.

Cole came back and put his arm aroud Sapphire, "theres a vamp club across the street, we can hang there for three hours."

"Vampire club?" Sapphire squeaked.

"Don't worry, amour, no harm will come to you around me."

Sytri wandered outside, feeling the wind cool her flushed cheeks. I hope this won't last much longer. It puts me on edge.
Glancing back, Sytri checked up on cole and sapphire, making sure they were following.
"You guys coming or what?"

Cole and Sapphire caught up with them and into the bar. They sat themselves in a booth in the corner. Sapphire still looked nervous even with Cole's arm around her.

Yessi watched from the shadowed corner. The hood of her dark cloak was pulled to just barely cover her eyes. SHe had sat in this filthy place watching in disgust as the mortals drank themselves from sanity.

Putrid beings. Yessi thought with disgust. This place was rank with the smell of alcohol and Yessi had no problem hiding her scent.
