Eris says nothing, only turns and looks out the window. "And when father comes and kills me? What then?"

She rests her cheek on the rough sill, feeling the blistered wood cut into her cheek.

"I fight.. For you before and after.."

"I'm not here on father's orders Eris." I sigh and walk over to her. Ploping on the floor beside her.

"Why? Why did you lie to me?" She continues to let it cut her face.

"What did I lie to you about? I'm here to get away from home. Not as much father as it is Ares. Although the guise of me coming here was I have to return you. I asked if I could go find you, but then father threw in the condition of I'm never allowed to return without you. And if I do, his payment for losing you would be my head."

"Oh." I look away, ashamed. "Why? Why can you just do like you normally do? Just let me do it."

The rage at this is boiling inside of me and I feel as though I am going to lash out. I need to talk to someone perky... "Because then I would become a murderer..."

"Who would you-" Eris is cut of when Alaina walks in the room, followed by Juve, and Sif.


"Whats going on?" Alaina asks.

"Nothing!" Eris yells, and gets up and runs out the door, and down the hall.

"Precisely!", I Glide out of the room after her.

"Please. Dont." Eris hides in a corner. "I cant think straight."

"I can't let you be like this alone, who knows what you'd do..." I sit near her but not enough because I am not sure whether or not she will try to run..

I turn away from him, and curl my knees to my chest, and against my will, fall asleep.

I carry her back to the room Sealing the window with a curse only I can break and lay her down next to me on the bed. "Goodnight." I shoo everyone out of the room... and exhuastedly lay down beside her.

I dream of my old home, the tall grass, and stone walls.

Then, father.
He stands above a weeping form on the ground, Thats me.

He holds a whip in his hand, and he swings it down on my back.

I jerk, and flop.

A scream comes outta my mouth as the whip comes down harder and hared.

I turn and roll, but it does not stop. He swings again and again and again.
