Astral ¬

"You'll need to sign the adoption papers first!" I said, sticking my tongue out at Ella. Ella smiled. "O-O-OK, so..." I wandered over to the TV and crouched down. I picked up a stack of DVDs. "We can watch ... Sex and The City ... Eragon ... Lord Of The Rings ... The Neverending Story ... or The Twilight series," I spread all the DVDs out. "Oh! Wait, or we can watch ... Dirty Dancing," I pulled Lance and Ethan off of the beds, and said:
"Help me move the beds around," We tugged the beds so that they lay in front of the TV, facing it. We all jumped on. I rooted through my bag. "I've got some sweets we could share out, so which DVD is it?" I asked.

(It's Seph.)

Mason

Mason poked her head back in. "Lance, would yu like to join?"

"Sure." Lance smiled, getting up to follow Mason.

"So, Astral and Ethan huh? Crazy." Mason chuckled, walking in line with Lance.

"They should take it slow." Lance shrugged. He accidently bumped into Mason.

"Sorry." Mason blushed, but stayed where she was.

"It's cool." He smiled shyly, stopping in front of Persephone's door.

Mason kicked open the door. "Heyyyy little sister!" She laughed, pulling Lance inside. "Saw you dancing. You two were amazing!"

Ethan (Edric)
"Lord of the Rings." I said, grinning.
Ella nodded, agreeing with me. Lance shrugged as though he didn't care. He spread out on his stomach and looked closely at Ella.
"And, I will sign the adoption papers." I stuck my tongue out at Astral, and bent to help her up. She blushed, then grinned. That grin that made me smile.
"Your crazy." She said, laughing.
Under my breath, so that I thought only I could hear I said, "Only for you..."


(PRINCESS!!!!)

Astral ¬

"Say again?" I said as I heard him mutter something under his breath.
"Oh, nothing," He said.
"Lance, would you like to join?" Mason asked, popping her head round the door.
"Sure," He said, getting up. I winked at Mason as she went off. Ethan tugged me onto the bed, as I pushed the DVD in.
I jumped onto the bed and sprawled on my belly, watching the screen.
"...but the hearts of men.. are easily corrupted..."
Went the narrators voice. The scene panned down, and zoomed into the ring on the mans chest. Arrows poured from forest and struck the man on his horse, along with many of the other men, and he fell into the river. I moved my hands to push myself up, and my hand landed on Ethan's.
"Oops, sorry," I said, taking my hand back. "Could you pass the Haribos?"

Ethan (Edric)

Can you say sparks? when her hand came down on mine, I felt my heart die a couple of times.
"Could you pass Haribos?" she asked, blushing.
I didn't answer. I grabbed her hand and kissed it. "Yes I could."
I gave them to her, never taking my eyes off her face. "thank you." she said breathlessly. "I appreciate it."

I dropped her hand, not believing I had just dared to do that.

Ella (Enola)
I watched Lance and Mason go down the hall, looking like old friends.
Here I was, jumping at the chance to watch a movie, just so I could get to know Lance better, and Mason comes and takes him away. Well, if he wanted to do that, that was fine. I'd have to figure out some way to talk to him. Mason was spending the night at Seph's room, so when he came back, I'd make an effort to talk to him. Now I was all alone, and Ethan had just kissed Astral's hand. It was going to be a long movie.

A light bulb lite up in my head and I grinned. "hey guys! Can I tag along?" I said, chasing after Mason and Lance.

Mason didn't look too happy, but Lance seemed indifferent. Good.
"Sure," he said, smiling a tiny smile.

Good.

Astral ¬

I smiled at Ethan, blushing. I popped a Haribo in my mouth and peered around the door.
"Looks like it's just us then," I said, hopping back onto the bed after closing the door. My hand was tingling where Ethan had kissed it.
"Really?" Ethan asked.
"Really," I said, flipping over onto my stomach. "Ella just went with Mason and Lance,"
Ethan shrugged and threw a Haribo at me. I laughed and ate it.

Mason & Persephone

Mason shrugged. "Sure, whatever." She walked quickly inside, looking down sadly. Some friend. She could see I was interested in Lance and she obviously didn't care..

Persephone greeted them with a smile. "Oh, hi Ella."

Mason listened to everyone chat and laugh. "Seph, I need ice cream. Please."

Ella (Enola)
Suddenly, I felt very guilty. I wasn't having fun, Mason didn't look too happy, and Lance could care less about me. Well, Mason could have Lance.

I stood up and said "I'm going back to my room."
Mason looked surprised. "Oh okay."
I walked out, and reached the hall bathroom. I started gasping, trying not to cry. Why had I been locked up all my life? Why couldn't I already been through this, and not have to suffer now?

I looked up, and saw something hanging from the bare light bulb. A ring. It looked like drops of water, and sparkled from the light. I reached up, pulled it down, and slid it on my finger. Though it had been right up against the hot bulb, it was cool, almost cold.

Interesting. I left it on my finger, and started to wonder back to my room.

Ethan (Edric)
Ella was back. I had gotten comfortable, throwing chips at Astral, completely ignoring the TV, and talking about our past...

Mason & Persephone

Mason sighed, feeling bad. She'd apologize to Ela later.

"Where's Saffy and Jaxon?" Persepghone questioned.

"I don't know, they're your roomates." Mason chuckled, winking playfully at Eris. "Nice dance moves, new boy."

"I agree." Lance smiled, sitting besides Mason.

"Heres some Rocky Road, Mas." Seph handed her a carton.

Mason took the ice cream and the spoons. "You want?" She offered to Lance.

Eris Venus

I smiled and said, "My grandmother was once a ballerina in her youth. From what my grandfather told me, Nana could dance like a fairy when she was younger. I found out I was a born dancer when I was six. I showed new dance moves every time I start dancing. Not one dance move is made twice in the same dance. My grandparents know this too well to think it's talent. They know it's a family trait through my grandmother. My life's been mostly about dancing and painting when I was with my grandparents."
Persephone asked, "You paint?"
I answered, "Yes. My paintings are so life-like you could almost think it'll spring out right at you."

Lance Silverwood

For some reason I felt like a rope. I had only wanted to read and maybe socialize a bit before orientation. But it seemed everyone suddenly went crazy. I was being as polite as I could though it was getting harder to do so with each passing second. Astral was cuddling next to Ethan and Mason was dragging me around like a stuffed animal. I felt like we were laboratory rats. But at least it looked like Ella was not crazy, or not as crazy.

Ella

God, was there no place to be?
Ethan and Astral were completely ignoring me, talking about bands I hated.
I felt like an out cast in Mason's sisters room, and I wasn't sure why.
I curled up on my bed, trying not to cry....

She could use some comfort right now.

Mason and Persephone

Suddenly, Mason felt like crap. What was he doing, trying to get a boy? Making friends? She was terrible at that sort of thing.

"You can leave if you want. I just thought I'd include you in the fun, in case you felt left out, Lance." Mason said softly, looki at her feet. She stabbed the carton of ice cream with the spoon, then handed it to Lance.

Persephoe smiled. "I'd love to see them in a bt. But now, let's go find Ella. She'd probably love to see them too." Seph and Eris walked back to Ella's room and opened the door. "Hey, Ella. Come here hun."

Ethan (Edric)

Ella looked flattened.Or defeated. I turned around, and whispered, "Come Ella. Come and join us."
She got up, and walked over to the bed, in the middle of me and Astral.
We sat watching the movie in silence, munching on snacks.
As Ella moved to get another chip, a ring on her hand sparkled with the lights from the TV screen.
"What's that?" I said, examining the ring. Like water droplets petrified.
"A ring I found. Pretty isn't it?"
"Yes." Somehow, I thought I had seen it before.

Lance Silverwood

I felt really confused. Did Mason have DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder)? Maybe her sister would know, but asking Persephone why Mason was crazy did not seem like a great idea. Then I had a horrible idea, maybe what I thought was crazy was normal. Do crazy people assume they're normal? Do they think that normal people are crazy? Is ice cream the answer?

I looked down at the carton in my hand. My brain was so fried.
