The werewolf sprung before Eleven got herself under control. The beast's claws opened a wound in her shoulder, which leaked blood over her clothes. Eleven tried to attack, but the wolf knocked her sword aside with its claws. The werewolf went for her throat, but Eleven jumped away. She swung her sword wildly, and caught the side of the werewolf's face. It howled, and jumped at her, raking open a shallow but messy scratch on her side. Eleven shrieked and plunged her sword through the werewolf's eye. The beast was dead.

Declan reacted to the attack without even a moment of hesitation. Like some madman, he used his daggers in rapid precession. He suffered some damage, but not once did he give up. He was surprised of his skills, almost smiling broadly as his opponent went down after a good fight. He laughed triumphantly and said, "What a sport. I never felt so alive." A somewhat familiar voice said in his head, Good, 'cause I still have to kill ya. He pressed his hand on his forehead. Something told him he was suffering a headache, but he couldn't tell why it hit him now.
Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
