Leal frowned at him and pulled her arm away. "I don't care." She replied drawing the words out.

"Come on, you can really do better then Tom. I mean look at him. He's emo, your....well your anything but emo." Jake smiled pulling her close to him as a slow song started.

"I'm anything but a prep." She growled trying to pull free. He kept her pulled against him though. She finally gave up at the middle of the dance and just danced trying to see Tom whenever she could.

"Im not a prep tho am I, I just play along with the game" said Jake, " If you really want to go then go, Im not going to keep you away from Tom"

Jake released his arms away from Leal, but she still stood there.

Leal shook her head looking at him. " I don't get you." She said crossing her arms. "And I'm not sure I want to." She turned on her heel and walked over to Tom. She wrapped her arms around his waist leaning her head against his chest.

"What did y'all talking about?" He asked.

"He said that he wasn't a prep and all." She replied smiling up at him and kissing him. "Now that one had no reason behind it." She smiled at him.

Jake looked towards Leal who was kissing Tom and he frowned. Candice walked over and pulled his face to her's kissing him.

"Ignore them, their just no bodys." She smiled.

"what and your a somebody are you" He said laughing in candice's face, "your just a cheerleader, a slapper"

As he said this Candice ran off, he had hurt her feelings but did he care. no, he didn't. He wanted Leal so much that she would never no.

Later on that night Leal spelt round Tom as his car had broke down and his house was closer. She had phoned her parents and they would help Tom fix it the next day. Tom held his arm over leal as she slept in her pj's in his bed. He played with her hair in his fingers.

"Do you really like me Leal" He said as he watched her.

"Ya, your real, Tom." She smiled at him. "I mean, all the other guys I'ev known are always hiding something."

"So, it doesn't weird you out that I'm emo?" He asked. She laughed and tugged at the hair hanging over his face.

"If I did do you think I would've goneto the dance with you?" She asked with a smile. "I don't care how people look, or act. What I care about is whose on the inside, who you are, not how you look."

*Nighty night, going bed as its 4 am here*

He smiled which was very rare from him,

"Well Im lucky, you've got looks and a good personalty" He said now laying facing her,

"Awww... Your so sweet Tom" She replying thinking if she should tell Tom what Jake said.

She decided against it and kissed him. It was midnight and she was exshausted. When they pulled apart she laid her head agianst his chest and yawned.

"I'm going to bed." She said yawning agian. He laughed and ran his fingers through her hair again. She wrapped her arms around his chest and fell asleep to his touch.

It was 7am in the morning and Tom and Leal sat down eating some toast.

"Mum have we got any lemon curd" Tom's brother Wil asked as he looked through the cupboards,

"I used the last of it" Emily said smiling as she eat her toast.

Wil gave her a dirty look, as he finally put his top on that said 'Dying is your lastest fashion'. It was an Escape the Fate t-shirt.

"Wil.. Your wearing my top" Said Emily as laughed,

Wil looked down at it "I look nice" He smiles "I could go out with myself".

Leal felt wierd, Her house was totally different. Jakes big brother Sam walked in.

"Hey dudes" he said as he gave Wil an high five and sat down next to Tom.

"My bro's being a twat so thought i'd come round here" Said Sam,

"Yeah I noticed that" replyed Tom as he grabbed the knife to put some jam on his toast.

Leal finished her toast off and bit her lower lip as she watched the family interact. She couldn't believe how so much alike they all looked.

Wonder if I look like my real family. SHe thought. She knew she would never know. She had been dropped off on the front steps of a hospital whne she was a baby and had been through teh system ever sense until she had been adopted. She had gone through every faze possible. She'd been a prep, a goth, a emo, a outcast, a tomboy, you name it she'd been it. It only made her better at picking at anyone in those groups and also helped her make friends with most anyone.

"Come on, I'm going to be taking Will's car to get you home sense he is back now." Tom said. She nodded and got up.

"I'm Sam by the way." His older brother said not looking up from his food.

"Leal." She smiled. He nodded and kept eating. Tom ushered her out of the house and into Wills car.

When they got to Laytons house, Tom gave her a hug and a kiss.

"wanna come in" asked layton

"umm... ok then" he said as Layton dragged him in.

Leal smiled as she pulled him into the house and smiled at her mom.

"Where's dad?" She asked.

"Work." Her mom smiled. She nodded and hugged ehr mom giving her a kiss. "Those your sisters?" She asked looking at Tom.

"Yes, ma'am." Tom replied.

"A polite boy." Her mom smiled. "Either of you hungry?"

"No, we ate at his place." She smiled.

"Ok, well I have to go help your father, Rye is here, but you sister is out at the studio too. Help yourself to any of the food." She gave Leal a kiss on her forehead then left.

"Come on, we have an xbox down stairs, if you wanna play. I'm no good. But it's fun." SHe smiled.

"Your gonna make me play singstar aint you" He cringed

She smiled "not just singstar, High school musical singstar"

Tom rolled his eyes but she agreed he'd join in. Leal's brother Rye was singing along to were all in this together but stopped as soon as he heard them coming down the stairs.

"Rye, liking the singing" Tom shouted as he enter the room,

Rye looked at him with a wierd look, " what singing" then he laughed.

"Your turn" said Leal as she passed the mic to Tom.

"This is my older sister's game." Leal smiled as she hit random on the program. "We play it to annoy her."

"Even when she isn't here?" Tom asked as it started one of the songs.

"Yup." Leal smiled sitting on Rye's lap when he sat down. She felt like he was more family then her realf amily was. She was the closest to Rye out of all the others. "Now, get ready." She smiled.
