Leal frowned at her brother her arms crossed.

"WHat?" He laughed.

"You! You didn't have to pick me up." She hissed.

"Ya I did. Mom's orders." He laughed. "You like that kid? Never saw you liking an emo kid, but he's cool."

"You have nothing against emos, Rye, and yes I like him, he's the only person I"ve talked to." She replied. "Least that was nice to me."

"So what happened today?" He asked.

"I'm going to a dance tomorrow night." She said her cheeks flaring red.

"With Tom?" He smiled.

"Ya." She replied her cheeks getting redder.

"Mom and sis are going to have a blast!" He grinned. "You'll wish you never wanted to go."

"THat's what I'm worried about." She frowned.

"Hey, it's a free shopping spree and then they get to doll you up. I think you'll have fun." He laughed.

"Whatever you say." She sighed.

Tom waited for his brother to pick him up but as he waited he watched jake go into his own chair. He waved at Tom. How dare he wave at me after today He thought as he crossed his arms across his chest and ignored Jake. His brothers Volvo pulled next to the curb with his cigarette hanging out of his mouth. Tom was gald that leal had gone because otherwise Wil would have flirted with her.

"Bringing no birds home today then bro" Wil laughed as he swung the door open for the fornt seat.

"What so you could flirt with them" tom said sarcasticially and they didn't talk for the whole journey.

As Tom got out the car his little sister beth ran up to him.

"Hey little one" he smiled as he hugged her back.

Beth just giggled and ran back. Tom then walked into the house.

"Tom, you left your msn on and its beeping" said his twin sister Emily who was aparently ill, thats why she hadn't been school.

"So hows Jake" She asked as she walked out of the bathroom. She had been going out with Jake on the internet but wasn't to tell anyone." because I dumped him last night"

"Oh he's been a twit" Tom replyed as he sat in fornt of his laptop, "Tell dad I need a suit because I have the dance tomorrow with Leal"

"The new girl, shes really nice" He said as he read his message and Leal ran down stairs.

The messege read

'Tom please talk to me, the only reason I've been mardy is because your sister dumped me'

Tom replyed

'I dont care, you souldn't have treat us like that!'

He logged of and went shopping with his dad.

Leal followed Rye into the house and bit her lip when she saw one of the top movie actors sitting in teh living room talking to her mom and dad.

"Hey, guess what happened to Leal today?" Rye called walking in and dragging her behind him. She glared at him and her dad laughed.

"What?" He asked. He never got mad if they intereupt it work long as he was at home an dnot work.

"She's got a date for a dance tomorrow." Rye grinned.

"Bella, get down here we have to go shopping." Her mom yeleld up the stairs jumping up and grabbing Leal's hand.

"I'm going to kill you." Leal hissed at RYe. Everyone laughed as she was drug out to the car and taken to town to try on dresses.

"how about this one son?" asked Tom's dad Brian,

"Hmmm.. I like this one" said Tom as he held up a black smart one with a white shirt and a black and white tie.

"ok lets buy it and go home" said his Dad.

That night Tom sat watching the stars, hoping tomorrow would be good.

Leal finally got home. Her feet were killing her from walking so much. She looked at the dress hanging up on the door and smiled. Candice would really have a fit when she saw her in this outfit. She smiled and then closed her eyes. Her mom had had to get ahold of her friend in hollywood to get it.

When Leal woke up she got dressed and hurried to the bus before it left. She found a seat and was about to sit down.

"hey, Leal." It was Tom. She walked back and sat next to him.

"Hey, how are you doing today?" She asked yawning. "I'm so tired."

"Oh im great, I found a wicked suit in french shop" He said in an excited voice, " I watched then make it"

"Oh cool" She smiled.

Tom's brother and sister came over.

"I bet he hasn't told you about us" said Wil "Im Will and this is Emily, his bro and sis"

They shaked hands and sat back in there seat.

Leal smiled and turned to TOm. "They look just like you." She smiled at him.

"I've been told that. Emily is my twin too." He smiled.

"Awesome. Please tell me your suit is black and white." She said as she leaned against the seat.

"Ya, why?" He asked.

"My mom and sister picked out my dress, said it would match a black and white one." She repleid. The bus stopped again and Jake got on. "Great, Preps here." She hissed.

* I think Leal should go out with Leal but Jake suduces her whilst there going out, and she cheats on him *

"ewwww, I smelt it" Tom laughed,

"To much after shave I think" Leal joined in,

Jake just gave us a look and sat down.

"yeah, I agree, he smells. I should no" Said his sister Emily,

Tom whispered to Leal,

"Emily used to go out with Emily but she dumped him because he wouldn't take her to the dance because they we're ment to keep there relationship secret"

Leal just raised her eyebrows and smiled at Emily.

"Leal theres something I need to ask you later" said tom,

"umm.. ok" Leal replyed as she grabbed her mp3 player out of her pocket.

Leal put her headphones in her ear and turned it on drowning everyone out. When they finally got to school she put the player away and stood up waiting for Tom.

"So, we have to conquer yet another day." She smiled looping her arm in his and pulling him along with her. She heard Wil and Emily laughing behind them.

****Time Skip****

Leal ran her hands through her hair as she stood in front of the mirror.

"Tom won't reconize me." She said still no believe it was her. Her mom smiled and hugged her.

"He won't care, you look beutiful." She smiled. Rye walked in and frowned.

"I'm going to the dance." He said.

"NO!" Leal screached.

"Yes, I'm not sure Tom will be able to fend off all the guys." He smiled.

"He's just playing with you honey." Her mom said. "Don't worry." She put the shaw around her shoulders as the door bell rang. Leal jumped a little and then sighed.

* yeah but it sould be like that because Tom wouldn't think that she would*

Tom stood at the door holding some roses for Leal, they had a little note on saying 'will you go out with me'.

I hope she like them he thought as he looked down at the roses.

Leal opened the door, Tom wouldn't be able to explain how beautiful she looked. Tom found it hard to speak. He just pushed the roses towards her and smiled. She noticed the note on the side and began to read.

Leal smiled at him after she read the note. "Of course." She smiled.

"Y'all have fun at the dance!" Her mom called.

"Thanks, mom." She said ushering Tom towards his car before they could take pictures. She had had her fill of pictures. Her sister had taken so many already. He opened her door for her and she climbed in. And smiled when they drove off. "Sorry, We wouldn't have left until midnight if we didn't leave. My parents love taking pictures."

"That's fine." He laughed. They got to the school and he opened her door taking her arm as they walked towards the school. Jake and Candice were just walking in. Jake glanced her way and she smirked. Candice looked at her and frowned.

"Hi, Prep, looks like you found a prep as a date." She smiled.

"Oh and you seem to have found a loser as a date" said Jake,

Tom huffed "A loser that you begged to be your friend"

Tom knew Jake liked Leal put couldn't have her because she was a powerful girl and would never keep it a sercret.He turned around and pulled leal close to him and kissed her. Jake went of in a huff but Leal just sayed there kissing him.

Leal leaned into the kiss and when they pulled apart smiled. "Let's go wreck this party." She smiled pulling him inside. When they walked inside she pulled him on the dance floor and they started dancing. She smiled when she caught some of the football players watching her and she pulled Tom closer kissing him as they danced.

"What was that for?" He asked. "Not that I didn't like it."

"Just to hopefully stop some of the looks we're getting." Seh smiled.

"oh" Tom said disapointed, he thought she just wanted to.

One of jakes friends came over,

"hey Tom can I speak to you?" he said and he dragged him away.

Jake pulled Leal's arm,

"Do you want to no why I hate Tom so much" he said "because he has you, and your so special and he dont deserve you"
