Hannah Hannah Bo Bannah
Seated atop a picnic table, boba in their hands, Hannah and Nathan watched as Connor headed off in decidedly the wrong direction. "You can't control that thread of mankind's brutality. How does that feel?" And Nathan sipped down noodles.
"It feels frustrating." Hannah flung a yakisoba into her mouth with chopsticks and shoved her lunch carton aside. "I'm gonna shave the side of my head everytime Connor screws up his own happiness."
"Speaking of?"
Hannah tossed some yen on the table. A Togetic floated down into her lap and kissed the ends of her chopsticks. "You like this better than PokeBlock jam, Charlie?"
"Tiiiiic!"
Hannah scritched him behind his rook of hair.
"Isn't it a bit strange adopting a pokemon by your brother's name?"
"I jumped at the chance, actually. Annie did, too." Hannah slurped down her icee. "She said that things that bind us to pokemon get stronger and stronger the more complicated the ties are."
"So you're keeping Charlie."
"That's the planiel, Nathaniel." She fed him a strand of yakisoba, then a chunk of fruity pokeblock she'd made with the machines. "I like the spicy ones, Charlie. I'll make us some spicyblocks once mama gets her haircut, yeah?"
"Toooooog!"
She slid off the table and rolled Cutiefly's pokeball out of her hand, letting the fairies play around her head as she kissed Nathan on the top of the head as she passed by him--just quick enough to get her money back.
