I gasped. Shaun is his son? What would his father want with me? One thing that made me feel good that it was all of Shaun that loved me. Not just one side. I slowly started crawling to were the sink pipes were. I came to it and picked up the loose boards around it and put Tuff down it. I put my legs down first and I heard Nick and his father talking quite a ways away so that meant that I would be fine for a little and I should be able to reach the diner. No sane Vampire would attack in a crowd of people. I dropped down but when I did my jacket got caught on the pipe.

"Damn," I whispered under my breath. I was just gonna have to leave it there and forget about the diner. Just in an undershirt isn't going to work. I crawled and came to the opening of the under side of the house. Of course it was gated in to keep the mice and rats out so i had to kick it.

Nick nearly flew through the cabnits as her smell disappeared. He clenched his teeth.

"Where is she going?" His sire demanded.

"Away from you." He replied frowning. His sire ran out the door and he followed. He had to get to her first. He caught his sire and slammed his fist into his sire's back so that he hit the ground hard. He then raced quickly towards where he smelled Ettabell. He scooped her up as his sire nearly grabbed her. "Hold my back, don't let go." He hissed. She did as he said and he tore towards the sire again, hitting him oce more. He ran towards the woods as she clung to his back. ONce he was in the woods he pulled her from his abck and clung to her against his chest. Once they got to a spot he figured would be ok he sat down holding her close.

"Where is he?" She whimpered.

"Gone for right now." He replied tucking some hair out of her face. "I can feel Shaun trying to get back out. I can't let him, not til I know we're safe. Your stuck with me for a few more minutes, at least."

I smiled. "That's not so bad. You're still the same person. Just a darker version," I said touching his cheek. That seemed to trigger something in him that he came closer to me and kissed me. It was breathtaking and one of the best kisses that Shaun had ever given me. Or Nick.

[i]Nick kissed her, he, and Shaun, were very lucky. He smelled his sire and hissed pulling away.

"he here?" She asked.

"Ya, stay close." He smiled down at her kissing her again.

I just love the way he kissed me. It made me feel warm inside.

"What if you and Him start fighting? What do I do then?" I asked staring at him. He shrugged.

"Let's play it by ear," he replied looking at me funny.

"What?" I said in a playful tone.

He grabbed me and pulled me close. "You're so hot," he said licking my neck. He moved up and frenched me so hard that I had to back away to breathe.

They waited there for a while, but his sire's scent disappeared.

"He's gone, lets go." He said picking her up and running to the house. "I'll see you next go round." He smiled winking.

"What?" She asked.

"Shaun's coming back." He replied. "You no longer need my protection." He kissed her lips passionatly.

"Stay, just a little longer, can you?" She asked looking up at him.

"Why? Shaun is me, I am Shaun?" He replied tucking hair behind her ear. "Why do you want me to stay."

"Because I want to get to know this side of...you. Fool around a bit?" I said. Apparently it was clearly obvious that I liked this side of Shaun, also. I love the sensitive and cautious part of Shaun, but I also loved the 'bad boy' part of him. He chuckled and opened the back door. He pushed me in slightly and closed it behind us. He kissed me and stopped, pulling off my shirt. I giggled and did the same to him also ripping off his belt. I could tell that we both liked where this was going.

Nick laughed and kissed her neck pressing her up against the wall. "You do remember I'm the dark side, right?" He whispered against her hot skin.

"Yes." She replied her hands on his chest.

"Good." He kissed down her neck and then back to her lips as he let his hands message up her stomach.

I grunted. His hands on my skin anywhere felt good. I felt his fingers rip the button from my pants.

"You owe me a new pair of jeans," I whispered. He laughed. I slipped them down and threw them past him. I unbutttoned his jeans and he took them off along with his socks. He picked me up and took me to the bedroom still kissing me. For the first time I felt that we were both safe and that we were both alive.

Nick kissed down her neck, to her collar bone, and then on to her breast. He heard a moan slip past her lips and he smiled. She was going to have fun. He undid her bra and tossed it to the floor his thumbs slipping over the crest of her breast. He kissed her stomach as he did this to both of her breasts. He moved back up and kissed them as his fingers slipped down her stomach, and onto her waist.

Teasingly tracing the lines of her underware.

"Ugh, you're such a tease," I whispered hoarsely. He smirked. He was so freaking muscular. Finally he decided to rip off my panties. These are the moments when you really love seeing.

Nick smiled up at her as he kissed down the center of her stomach. He felt the goose bumps rise on her skin. He kissed right where the buttons on her jeans normally would be before his thumb caressed over the sensitive skin. He felt her intake of breath, watched her lips part a little.

"You haven't seen a tease yet." HE smiled at her moving his hand to move up and down the inside of her thighs.

I fell back on my pillow, panting.

"That was incredible" I whispered. I looked over and he was fast asleep.

The next morning Shaun smiled as Ettabell woke up and looked at him. "So, who is it, Shaun or NIck?" She smiled teasingly.

"Guess." he replied.

"Shaun, you dont' have that glint in your eye." SHe smiled kissing his lips.

"I'm glad you can tell my personalities apart." He smiled back at her. "Else I might have to eat you."

"Oh, you wouldn't." She laughed.
