*the note is tom asking her if shed like to go prom*

" I have to, hes my best friend and he asked me too" tom said as jake entered the room, He sat down next Adam and Candice and the rest of the cheerleaders gathered round.

" dont that look like fun" tom said sarcasticly,

"Yeah I so wanna be like them" Leal laughed as she grabbed the note out of her pocket.

**Oh, well it was going between Tom and Jake, but ok. **

Leal unfolded the paper and read it over.

Hey, you want to go to prom with me? Tom She bit her lower lip and was abotu to say something when the note was snatched from her hand. It was one of the cheerleaders.

"Oh," The girl squealed in her thrily voice. "Candice, looky here! Tom has a crush on the new girl!" The note was passed aroudn the group and Leal felt her cheeks grow hot. Her hands twitched towards her bag and she grabbed a pencil twisting it in her hands from habit.

Tom held his head in his hand,

' Oh no, what is she gonna think now ' thought Tom as he pulled his head from his hands.

"Is it true" said Jake as he came and sat down next to Tom, trying to embrasse him.

"You no it is Jake, I told you" Tom said annoyed, "Stop perteneding you dont know me Jake, good friends dont do that"

He stormed out the room and Leal followed him.

Leal ran after Tom and stopped him. "Whats wrong?" She asked. She didn't know why she was geting out of her shell, but she wanted to know what was wrong wtih him.

"Jake is being a jack ass." Tom replied frowning.

"He's a popular kid, of course he is being a jerk, that's how popular kids are." She shrugged. "Nothing new, just how the world is."

"No, not Jake, he's not usually like this." Tom replied.

"Maybe he is showing hsi real colors. He shouldn't be double faced and he is. With you and then with the popular people." She replied. She turned around and saw Jake walking over.

"Dude, what's wrong?" Jake asked Tom. She crossed her arms and glared at him her eyes turning a fiery blue.

"What's wrong? Your being a pain in the ass just to fit in with your so called friends." She hissed at him.

"oh sorry miss perfect"Jake said yet again in his annoying tone,

"Sorry? your not sorry, your just perfectic"said Leal as she helped Tom get of the ground."He dont need you"

Leal grabbed his hand and walked back in class.

"So what have you said to Tom, Leal" Said Candice

Leal look at the girl and smiled smugly. "Why? Did you want to go with him?" She smiled. "Cause, I hate to disappoint you, but he has a date." She replied pulling Tom to their chairs and sitting down.

"No one would want to go to prom with him." Candice hissed.

"You sure? Because last I knew, I'm not a no one." Leal replied smiling smugly. She could be a bitch to people if they were like that to her. or her friends.

"Are you sure about that?" Candice replied.

"Oh, I'm positive." She smiled. She smiled as watched the teacher walked in. The dance was in just a few days.




***let's make it just a normal dance, not a prom. Prom can come later. It's a tad early for prom.***

*ok then, i have an idea for the prom, Jake asks Candice but at then Jake leaves her at the prom and goes off with Leal*

Tom went a bit red,
"Really you'll come with me" He asked whilst he smiled,

"Yeah sure" She smiled back at him.

Jake walked back in the room and sat at a desk and put his legs on the table.

"Ok class today we will be learning a song, you have to get a three and sing together" The teacher mr Dun said

***Oh, and guess what. Every day she doesn't really dress up or anything. But at dances,it's hard to even reconize her. She can outstand any girl and so on. ***

Leal groaned as the teached started call off names.

"Leal, Tom, Jake, your group one..." Leal frowned and crossed her arms as the teacher kept calling off names.

"Great, stuck with mister upity." She said glaring at Jake. She tapped her foot as she waited for them to finish off.


**Tears*

** ok good idea:D, God i hate small posts but i just cant help it, its so annoying!**

' Dear god the only thing I ask of you is to keep me away from the mad emo and crazy nerd Jake started singing in his head,

"So i'm stuck with you two" he said as he came over,

"Yeah, you can sit there and comb your hair or something wilst we do the work" Tom said as Jake pulled a green comb out of his pocket,

"Sounds good to me" Leal and Jake chorused,

The teached placed a copy of Decode by paramore infornt of them.

Wicked Tom thought to himself, but Leal had no clue.

"Joy, great song." She said rolling her eyes then smiling at TOm. "NO offense."

"None taken." He replied with a smile.

"So, prep boy, you just need to mouth sing." She said smiling.

"Don't think so nerd." He replied with a frown.

"Whatever, prep." She looked at the words and started singing below her breath.



**I hate them too. But thats one there. :s*

*i hate preps! well what i've seen then like in american movies, im from the uk*

"Jake cant sing anyway" Tom laughed "I heard him in the shower, i thought he'd been attacked!",

Tom and leal burst out laughing and Jake just sat and watched.

"How can I decide what’s right,
when you’re clouding up my mind?
I can’t win your losing fight
all the time. " sang Tom and Jake laughed at him.

"what and you can do better, Tom's the new Jared Leto" Said Leal "i think thats his name anyway"

"Yeah I think I can do better" He said as he grabbed the paper

***Ah, your right. PREPS ARE SO ANNOYING!!!***

Leal listened to him sing and started laughing. She covered her mouth and smirked. His voice wasn't horrible, but she was sure going to act like it was.

"And you can do better?" Jake hissed. She grabbed the paper and frowned.

"Not with this song, I'm more of a country singer." She smiled.

"Just try it." Tom pushed.

"It won't sound like the real thing." She replied. Then she started singing it. It sounded horrible to her! She definatly couldn't sing this song.

"Oh my god, you sound so like Hayley Williams!!" Tom said as he stared in awe at her, He was surpised at how beautiful her voice was.

"Oh my thats amazing" said Jake but then her heard Candice singing behind her in her squeaky voice.

A few minutes later the bell went and they were aloud to go home as it was a half day.

Leal grabbed her stuff quickly and ran outside. Her adopted brother was standing there his arms crossed as he leaned against his brand new f250. He smiled as she walked out.

"How was your first day?" He asked standing up straight. Tom was behind her and she pulled him forward.

"Rye, this is Tom, Tom this is my big brother Ryley." She smiled. Ryley was in college, he still stayed at home though. He was a stunt man for several different movies. Her mom was a hair dresser for several different stars and her adopted sister was a make up artist. Her dad was a producer. She was just their new adopted daughter/sister.

"Hi." Rye said sticking his hand out. Tom took it and shook it.

*he's hot hehe*

"So are you Leal boyfriend" he asked Tom,

Leal went red,

"Nooo, just friends" Tom smiled as he winked at leal without her brother seeing.

"Oh..Well it'd be nice if you were" Rye smiled as he signallied Leal into the car.

"Hope to see you again" Rye said in his nice american accent, he sounded like Jake.

As soon as Leal got in the car Tom could hear her telling her brother how embrassing he is.
