"Ah, a rebel then." He smiles. "I like that. I'm restless. I always have to be doing something. So, I deal with the military for my queen. She doesn't know much about that kind of stuff anyway."

After about a week of running from monsters and masked people, it felt good to see some civilization. I entered the five-star hotel that seemed to be in the middle of nowhere and walk to the check- in. "I need as many nights here as I can get until monsters or masked people come, how much would that be?"
"That depends on how long you'll stay," says the man behind the desk.
"One second." I kneel down on one knee and put a hand on the cold and hard stone floor. I murmur something and magically extract an egg-sized diamond from the ground. I stand up again and give it to the man. "Will that be enough," I ask him. He just stares at it wide-eyed and open-mouthed. Then he looks at me and nods. Then I walk over to the people sitting on the bar. I stand there, look at them for a second, and then speak, "My name is Max. May I join you?"
