May The Blood of my Enemies Flow Like Rivers to the Sea
I place the portable stove on the floor near an outlet and plug it in. Our main living area inside the warehouse/safe haven is mostly empty except for my backpack, other packs full of non-food supplies, and my sleeping bag. Brent had fallen asleep, but I had woken up hungry. Over the past couple of weeks, Brent and I had been "gathering" food and supplies after spreading the word to other fugitives that we were creating a safe haven. Most of it is upstairs, but the electrical appliances that have to be plugged in stay down here because there are no outlets upstairs. I start to tear chunks off the raw chicken that I had just brought downstairs and set them on the stove. I automatically turn the dial to high and wait. That's when I think that I might as well get dessert for my meal, too. I hop over Brent and thunder up the stairs to our food storage area on the second floor. As I rifle through the insane number of bags, I find various perishable and non-perishable food items like canned vegetables, but so far, there is nothing that I could use for a dessert. (which I rarely ever have) I'm starting to think that I might have to go with a can of peas when a rat scurries along the far wall. Diving for the rat, I grab it by the stomach and snap its neck. I think, "Yes!" "Rat meat for dessert is better than peas!" "Plus Brent won't be worried about having enough food for everyone else when they arrive" Still holding the dead rat, I snatch some tongs by my feet and race back down the stairs. The stove and the chicken are already on fire. I smile to myself and think, "One of fire's many uses." Using the tongs, I toss pieces of the blackened chicken on the floor which seems surprisingly clean compared to most surfaces I've eaten on. I swing the rat by its tail into the fire to have it cooked and ready by the time I'm done with the chicken. Popping some extra crispy chicken into my mouth, I watch the rat as it burns. Waking up to the smell of smoke, Brent grabs one of our emergency fire extinguishers and sprays all over the stove, the rat, and the fire.
"You just foamed my dessert!" I half yelled-half laughed.
Brent replies calmly, "Next time, just ask me to cook something for you, Isaac." "We don't need to burn down our base of operations."
"I guess not," I said. I hold up the rat and ask, "Do you want any?" "I just need to brush the foam off unless you think it tastes like whipped cream."
The corners of Brent's mouth turn up slightly in an almost smile while he shakes his head. I show him my crooked teeth smile when someone knocks on the warehouse door. Brent goes to answer it while I follow close behind. I brush off some fire extinguisher foam and take a bite as Brent opens the door.

I rapped on the warehouse door sharply. It opened cautiously. The boy was blonde and had a strong slightly handsome face. He seemed to recognize me as another outcast. "Come in," he offered, gesturing inside.
Inside the place was slightly askew. There was another boy inside, who was much thinner and had black hair and striking blue eyes.
"What's your name?," asked the black haired one. I was reluctant to answer, but I figured that I must.
"Caley Starm. You?" The blonde one immediatly looked more guarded, apparently recognizing my name.
"I'm Isaac," said the black haired one, then motioned to the blonde one, "That's Brent."
Just then another knock came at the door.
Nella vita vi è la distruzione, desolazione nella morte, ma c'è speranza nella rivoluzione.
I knocked on the door and swiftly walked inside the warehouse, my hands tucked in my pockets. A girl with brown hair, and a surprisingly handsome blonde dude, and a guy that had the most amazing green eyes were already in here. "Hey, is this the place?" I asked closing the door behind me. They smiled and nodded. "So what's your name?" the green eyed guy asks me. I smile back. "I'm Katie."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I knocked on the door of the warehouse. "Come in." a guy said as he opened the door. "What is your name girlie?" another guy said, smiling evily. I walked over to him, snap-kicked him in the nuts then said, "Shanaya Dranda, and I'm sure you will never call me 'girlie' again. You may call me Madame or Shadow." "Yes, Madame" He said.

May The Blood of my Enemies Flow Like Rivers to the Sea
I wandered down the back alley, keeping my guard up as I walked. I had heard the rumors too, about someone who was making a safe haven for people like me. Criminals. People who were wanted by the law.
Meandering down a couple more alley, I found the warehouse where the rumored safe haven was suppose to be. Silently (not even bothering to knock), I open the door.
The site in front of me almost makes me laugh, so I smirk instead. A guy with black hair is on the ground holding his "knockers", while a younger looking girl stands in front of him. Two other girls, one with curly brown hair and the other with brown straight hair, stare in shock. Another guy, with blonde hair and blue eyes, looks at the other one with a sympathizing look.
Without even noticing it, a laugh trickles out of my throat. All heading turn toward me, expect one of course.
"Yo," I say while regaining my composer and letting the smirk back across my face," names Hunter."

I had heard about this organisation, this "Haven" for a while now, rumours of it lurked throughout the darker society, you just had to know who to ask, and how to persuade them to give you the answer. I wasn't extraordinarily attractive, I looked like an albino 12 year old girl, but I knew how to get the information I needed. Brent and Issac were the apparent leaders, and through a bit of information trading I figured out their story, and their location. There are no secrets in criminal society, and it was easy to find the warehouse.
I found it surprisingly under protected, and after surveying every wall I realised that almost no thought had gone into the defense of this place. I whistled to myself out loud and I was afraid that one of them had heard me. I wanted to lay low for now and figure out everything I could about this place before I decided to become a part of it.
It was a new idea, and I liked it. Many hands make for light work but recruiting some of the most most skilled criminals to work as one, well, I'd have to see about that one. It's not easy for a criminal to trust anyone, let alone another of their kind.
I made up my mind when I noticed a large group of people congregating in the warehouse. I was surprised by what a large turnout Isaac and Blake had received. There was a guy who looked like a screwed up Ken doll, and a girl who wanted people to take her seriously with a name like "Madame." What was she, a dominatrix? With this crowd, you never knew. But regardless, I loved it, these were my people.
I got into the warehouse through an exposed back window and stood in the shadows, just watching everybody's interactions. I was dressed in a school girl outfit, left over from previous business I took care of, and planned to play this one safe. I stepped closer into the light and waited for someone to notice me.

Meredith Tully Tully lazily stretched his arms out and appreciated the quality of his new black suit, with slight contempt he stared at before wiping some blood off the sleeve.
“You just had to put up a fight, didn't you?” He muttered at the bloody mess lying curled up in ball not four feet away. “I only wanted your suit.” Tully kicked the man in the stomach, enjoying the cry he got in response. “Well and your car, and your wallet.” Tully kicked him again. “But you've learnt a lesson today haven't you?” The man groaned, earning yet another kick. “You see the correct answer was: don't use the public toilets near a prison” Tully smiled at the man, who appeared to have passed out. Leaving the man to his pain Tully picked up the plastic bag that held his knife collection. It held over a dozen of varying shapes and sizes, ranging from a small butterfly knife to a Kukri. A stiletto lay snugly in his left sock while a push dagger rested in his pocket and a knuckle duster trench knife was tucked into the belt. He was carrying enough sharp weapons to classify as a small armoury. Despite this Tully dearly wished to have his old collection back, along with his small set of shotguns but he had lost all those when he went to prison. Tully climbed into the man's car, dumping the plastic bag in the seat next to him and taking a small note from it. Breaking out of prison had hardly been one of his smarter ideas and he needed somewhere to hide, luckily in prison there had been a man who talked of a safe place, a refuge from the law. Said man was now dead and Tully had this places address. A half hour drive later and Tully pulled up in front of a run down warehouse. His eyes surveyed the place in disgust.
“What a shithole.” He muttered as he climbed out of the car, bag in hand. Regretting it more and more Tully made his way to the shithole's door. He gave a heavy knock, not wanting to surprise and get shot by the kind of people who probably frequented places like this. Getting no reply Tully pushed open the door and almost sighed at the scene before him. Laughing, women and what he was pretty sure was a child. Hardly the kind of situation he had expected when he had heard about a safe haven from the police but needs must.
“Name's Tully.” He spoke up, getting the attention of the laughing people. “And I heard you know how to hide from the law.”
