Haven (Starting)

This is a little something eiflow6547 came up with. My last SB didn't work out too well so I'm hoping this one will!


Plot:

You are a modern day criminal (the crime is your choice). You've been on the run for what seems like forever and can't take it anymore, lonesome and tired of it. Beginning to think through your options, you come across a rumor - there's a pair of known felons recruiting amongst the lower levels of the criminal world, promising safety, shelter, other's like you, and whatever else you might need.

You set out for these convicts, discovering that is the next step for you, and find them. It's true.

But the look in their eyes, the glint of trouble, tells you that they have other intentions, hidden intentions. It comes off as a challenge, and everyone knows you can't resist one of those.

Appearance: Wiry, black hair, sly-looking. Blends in well.
History: Realised he could get money out of people when he saw a guy buying drugs in the school toilets. Took some pictures, then threatened him. The guy kicked the shit out of Mark and deleted the photos, so instead of giving up, Mark learned how to plan. He got a good camera and learned jiu-jitsu, then did the same thing again. This time, Mark left with his face intact and £40. From there, he just got bolder...
Personality: Very sociable, cool under pressure because he knows he can handle himself. Clever and patient. If anything, can be too cautious to the point of possibly missing an opportunity.
Strengths: Good with technology of all kinds, can plan ahead and see options
Weaknesses: Cautious, prefers to work alone

Appearance: Brent is approximately 5'11'' and almost has a baseball player's physique to him. He has dirty blonde hair and silver-blue eyes, light stuble almost always resident. He changes clothing styles to adapt to where he's hiding but never goes without his black jacket.

History: Though most of Brent's past remains a mystery, he was framed at the age of 23 after the deaths of his parents and six year old sister. Brent only remembers a group of men leaving the house that night, a business card to his father's fortune-five-hundred company before the door.
After his sentencing, he managed to escape and came across a fellow convict named Isaac. The two became friends and decided it was safer to travel together. Thus, the group idea was born.
Personality: Brent is quiet and thoughtful, remaining calm during most situations. He is kind and accepting of people, tending to look for the good in everyone.
Strengths: Leadership skills, strategic, calm, loyal.
Weaknesses: Can be over-protective of close friends at times, the memory of what happens still haunts him and causes him to freeze up.

History: (we're not expecting a whole lot here; we'll let you know if you should add anything)was born in Texas. She got tired of being the 'good girl' and started robbing local banks,schools, and houses. She rarely gets caught and knowone ever suspects its her because she has such good grades and a sweet personality.
Personality: ^^ She's sweet and sometimes over protective when you critisize her. She can be agressive and sometimes emotional when you remind her of her childhood. She is a very 'special' girl.
Strengths: Lying, robbing, sweet talk, she's very manipulative, beauty.
Weaknesses: Telling the truth, School, Football, Singing.

She has an extremely slight build and stands at 5'1''. Her frame is childlike and she is known to travel undercover as a school girl. She dresses in anything that will not draw attention, as well as things that are very versatile, such as layers of clothing that she can shed in case she is being pursued. Regardless of her height, she is very imposing. She is, what one could say, loaded to the teeth, with small, concealed, and personlised weaponry stashed everywhere on her person.
History: She was born in Russia to a wealthy family. Her father was a politician who was very close to Putin, and had many unsavory methods of rising through the ranks. Because her family had no sons, and her father saw her potential, she was encouraged to assist her father, using her delicate demeanor and innocent appeal to manipulate her father's enemy's. Eventually, when the Yugoslavian Civil War broke out, she got involved in arms dealing and became involved in an extensive network of Traffickers and Profiteers. Ever since she has become one of the most bona fide agents, as well as one of the most notorious.
Personality: She is nothing like you would expect her to be, which is probably why she's so successful. She is friendly, considerate and sweet and will never raise her voice. She is skilled at networking due to her intelligent, trustworthy behaviour and has gained a lot of respect from criminals and civilians alike. She can be very tough and can hold her own in a fight, but she doesn't believe in making enemies because, as she says, "Why ruin a relationship with anyone, you might need something from them later." Her attitude is very manipulative though, and she can get virtually whatever she wants, leading people to believe that she's hiding a much darker interior than what she would lead you to think.
Strengths: Because she is highly involved with weaponry of every kind, she has very valuable, insider information, on any kind of weapon you could need. She probably has, or could find a way to come into ownership, of any piece of weaponry you could ever want, from a molotov cocktail to a thermobaric explosive. She is a good strategist and can tell you which weapon is the best for any situation. She is also a brilliant undercover operative as well as socially adept.
Weaknesses: She is not a good team player and prefers to administer her own orders, she's used to being in charge. She is also a compulsive liar, even when no lies are actually necessary. She is also is a slight claustrophobic and will do whatever she needs to do in order to avoid being confined.
Up For Love: Yes, but be careful because she could just be working under the laws of Sexual Politics.

History: (we're not expecting a whole lot here; we'll let you know if you should add anything) - When he was growing up, Lucas has a harsh family life. His father was very abusive to him. And when he died of a drunk driving accident. He was left to help his mother fend for herself. As it stands to reason, he found the only way to get what he needed; was to attain it with a five finger discount. For his first crime, he stole a box of jewelry from a rich mansion. Leaving a note behind that read "Thanks for the jewels, it was for the best ~ Dallas" And that became his signature, he was known as the Sticky Note Thief. Though he never stole from the same person twice, and he committed to himself that he would never hurt anyone. Until his partner set him up, he was finally caught, and framed for murder.

Personality: He's very reliable, easy to make friends. He was never one to be mean, he's honest. A real boy scout at heart you could say. The only reason that he began his life as a thief was to help his mother

Strengths: He's very stealthy and can run very quickly. He's like a ninja...
Weaknesses: He's too trusting.

Name: Meredith “Merry” Tully
Age: 37
Gender: Male
Crime Committed: Murder, Assault with a deadly weapon, Assault and Public urination.
Sentence: 8 years
Appearance: Tall, over 6'6. close cropped black hair, thickset, brutish and with a face his own mother described as “ugly as sin”

History: He comes from a rich family, allowing him to spend most of his time out of work. He likes a challenge when killing and will often spend time following possible victims to find the strongest one. He is thorough when eliminating traces back to him, meaning despite appearing in court more than a half dozen times he walked away free. Tully was arrested after he urinated on a car while intoxicated and then savagely beating the owner once the man protested. In prison he needed to satisfy his need for an excitement and killed a fellow inmate. Once the dead man's friends tried to get revenge Tully broke out of jail to escape.

Personality: “Certainly there is no hunting like the hunting of man” - Ernest Hemingway. Tully is a great believer in this, killing gives Tully a thrill that he finds hard to replicate elsewhere, though not for lack of trying. He is rude and arrogant towards most people, with neutrality being a sign that he likes you.

Strengths: Physically strong, skilled in knife fighting and is a fair shot with a shotgun. He is good at finding weaknesses in his prey and well practised in covering up after himself.

Weaknesses: Finds it hard to resist a challenge and becomes rash and bullheaded when insulted. He can become extremely violent and short sighted if presented with a problem he cannot solve. Outside of killing he lacks skill in many areas including planning.
Up For Love: Probably not.
Other: Likes shotguns and knives, big knives, preferably sharp ones though he's not fussy

Name: Isaac "the Phoenix" Hargood

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Crime: Serial Arsonist

Appearance: Black hair, pale blue eyes like the flames of a bunsen burner, 5'9", slight build but not super enormous or scrawny
He only wears one outfit that is usually never washed- Blue jeans (ripped and torn by various outdoor city obstacles), Burnt tennis shoes, no shirt but he does have a red orange jacket that he wears (sometimes zipped up, sometimes not), One backpack that he carries all of his belongings in (which isn't much)

History: Isaac comes from a city family with super religious parents. He has a younger brother and sister who are twins, but they have no importance whatsoever. Isaac became fascinated by fire in the third grade, but he didn't commit his first act of arson until the fifth grade when he set fire to his principal's car. It exploded, overturning the cars in six adjacent parking places. Because there was little evidence, the case was dropped, and thus, his criminal career had begun. Isaac's father had seen his son's growing fascination with fire and knew that his son was guilty. His parents showed an unending animosity towards their son, and constantly threatened him with military school unless he straightened up. Isaac ran away when he was twelve, spending his nights sleeping with the homeless in the park, occasionally sneaking back to his house to filch food from his family's kitchen table. (when he couldn't find anything else which was rarely) He began to practice his technique by setting fire to the trees in the park where he knew the only fatalities would be squirrels and birds. Eventually he upgraded to burning the dumpsters in alleyways. His parents thought he had either frozen to death or starved to death and were particularly glad that he wasn't in their lives anymore. They only realized he was alive four years later when Isaac was convicted for the first time. He had set two dumpsters on fire, and then, they went careening down the street. Thankfully, no one was severely injured, but Isaac was sentenced to six months of court-ordered community service, and his family was forced to pay a fine of $20,000 to pay for insurance claims and damages. Infuriated at him more than ever, his parents refused to let Isaac enter the house. (It's not like he was ever there anyway.) After completing his community service and his parents had signed the forms, Isaac left before his parents could fill out any military school application forms to send him away. Two years later when Isaac turned eighteen, he upgraded to burning down abandoned buildings. He successfully torched fifteen buildings without getting caught. Unfortunately for Isaac, in the sixteenth building, three gang members were conducting some illegal business inside. When Isaac set fire to the building, he inadvertently killed two of the gang members and severely injured the third who was able to identify Isaac as the perpetrator. (Unfortunately the evidence that the people inside were doing anything wrong was torched with the building) Isaac is currently on the run to escape jail time. On his way to the safe haven, he met Brenton "Brent" Sawyers (a fellow fugitive) who helped Isaac escape the gang members who wanted to kill Isaac for killing two of their members. They became fast friends. Isaac and Brenton are in the safe haven searching for more friends/accomplices.

Personality: An okay guy who happens to like watching things burn and is very random in his actions and emotions

Strengths: Optimistic, friendly, street-smart(he's pretty tough when he wants to be)
Weaknesses: Can't cook (he usually sets fire to the food and watches it burn into a blackened crisp), Nonexistent table manners (He hasn't really lived in a house since he was 12), Not very hygienic (usually doesn't shower and fairly messy/dirty)
