As i looked up from reading my book, i saw Jedidiah and Mason talking to each other. Looks like their back at it again this year. I dont have anything personal against mason, but just the fact that he is a son of Hades seems to make kids unnerved. After they appeared to be done talking, i walked up to Jedidiah who seemed a little pissed off.

"You know, i may have a way that you can crank up the power on the paintball guns.." I said to him with a slight grin on my face. They may not let me set up anymore, but i can still tweak a few things here and there.

"You heard us huh?"

"Kinda hard not too. You need a partner for poison ball today? I still need one, and im sure we can stick it to Mason. On accident of course, but you know, accidents happen up here all the time." I said this last bit with a wicked smile.

Hope this is ok Dragonette

Jedidiah~ Apollo

I smiled mischievously. "Of course." I liked this kid. Mischievous, like me. And the plan came with a little bit of Mason-vengeance. How could I resist?

"So we're a team?" he asked.

I glanced at the armory. I guess Jean didn't want me, so what could I lose? I held out my hand and Alken and I shook on it.

"Besides, us Romans have to stick together," he added. I bit my lip, but nodded. They're had always been this kind of tension between the Romans and the Greeks. I guess it was our history. I didn't really care about it though, and honestly I thought there was some cool people from the Greek side, like Jean. And I thought there were also some really big losers that were Romanlike Mason. (sorry Ig! Haha)

Sorry it's so short! But I gotta go to bed! And I don't think I'll be able to post at all tomorrow :( so keep my characters in it please, and honestly I don't care if you god-mod them for that day, so long as you keep them in their personalities!

Kiara - Zeus

She was initially surprised to find herself surrounded by other people. But then began to notice that, even though the others were around her, they were engaged in their own conversations. Ace, the girl from Dionysus was talking to her son, and fussing over his eating habits. Kim, the sweet girl from Mercury, was talking to Timothy, attempting to get him interested in becoming her partner for DeathBall. She sighed. How she wanted Kim as her partner. Every year, it had been like this. Everyone else partnered up, and she'd be left alone to fight everyone of them single-handed. Each time, she confidently thinks that she could someone defeat everyone, but that was a fool's errand.

She noticed, out of the corner of her eye, Lyn trying to catch her eye, but she pretended that she was in a conversation with the others. It was bad enough for Lyn to ignore her like that before, but to talk and apparently partner up with her own half-brother was a complete torture for her.

Kiara got up, knowing that if she stayed there, she would probably start crying, and bring down a rainstorm on the camp. It saddened her even more to see that no one even noticed her leaving. Her eyes filling with tears, she ran back to her cabin and threw herself on to her bed, covering her eyes with her pillow, trying to stop herself crying. Then, composing herself, she sat up on the bed.

"Alright, fine! If they wanted to make me to go to the match alone, then I would go alone." She thought, a fiery anger burning inside her. Her blue eyes started glowing red, and bluish sparks jumped across her fingertips. She shook her head, trying to get rid of her anger. It died a little and the sparks stopped. Thunder rumbled across the cloudless sky, drawing her attention to the outside.

"I'm sorry father, but I will not let anger get the best of me." She whispered, feeling her anger disappearing. Thunder shook the sky again.

Kiara, breathing hard, went over to her dresser and opened it. Taking off her necklace, she slotted the heart shaped pendant into a slot at the back of dress which had the exact shape of the heart. The false panel of her dresser opened and in it was her armor.

She was still amazed by it's sight. It was almost pure white, with silvery grey stripes for extra reinforcement. It was not bulky, and didn't have the shape of log. It was almost as if, the metal had molded itself to her exact shape. And she could swear that the armor grew up with her, as every year, it fitted her, even if she had grown a few inches. This had been an anonymous gift for her.

Wearing her necklace again, she took the armor off the holder. The moment her hand touched it, a bluish lightning bolt appeared on the middle of the chest part. Smiling slightly, she wore the breast plate, the gauntlets and the greaves. She never wore her Helm unless it's a sword fight. Then she closed the dresser, walked out of the cabin, not even feeling like she wore her armor.

She barely took two steps before crashing into someone.

Xander | Lunch hall

I couldn't tell if it was the shy-boy act, or the guilt that triggered her to blush, but she finally seemed to accept me as a good person. That's good, I thought. Now I'll just have to convince that flirt-crazy girl who was also involved in that cat fight... or... not cat fight?

"Of course I'll eat with you! Just...next time, note the guilt trip."

I smiled again (was I doing that too much?) and quickly jotted down the useful piece of information. So, Ms Lynette is not the guilt trip type? Good to know.

We walked into the line behind a few other late comers and I began piling my plate with the appropriate amount of food for a gentleman. We stood silently for a while, taking our time walking and picking a table. The fire rose lightly as we scooped a portion of our food into it and walked away. Once we found a decent table, lacking in puddles of syrup, Lynette began eating her pancakes.

The sausages looked most decent to me, so I started with those. In truth, I was a very picky eater. My mom always used to scold me for picking apart the dinners she made and scooping the things I didn't like off to the side. But, rule number one: when in on mode, never show your weaknesses.

"So, are you participating in deathball?" she asked after swallowing a mouthful of pancake.

I shrugged indifferently, I didn't have a partner so I wasn't particularly keen on the idea. "Probably, you?"

"'Course. Have you every heard of a daughter of Mars not participating in deathball?" I chuckled as her face contorted from her statement, cute. "I mean, I truly do enjoy it. It's fun, I look forward to it!"

I nodded and bit off another chunk of sausage. I pretended to contemplate her previous statement and replied kindly, "Hey, maybe I should join in today."

She blushed again and looked down at her plate. "Yeah. Maybe it'd be better if you had a partner in would be more fun...?"

I looked at her, confused. I couldn't tell if she was inviting me to ask to be her partner, or just stating that it was more enjoyable in pairs. I decided to ask anyway. She wasn't being annoying in the slightest, and she was actually acting particularly cute, as well.

"Do you have a partner? If you don't, I would be happy if you teamed up with me. I wouldn't mind having the demi-god of war on my side," I joked. Maybe I'd enjoy it this year if Lynette was my partner. She seemed fun and entertaining in her own way. Plus, she was fun to tease.

"By the way," I added, before she had time to answer, "Would you mind if I called you Lyn?"

~Trini Marks- Apollo

I was eager to play DeathBall, but the lack of a partner slimmed my chances of winning. I wanted a partner, but every time I got the courage to ask someone, it fled within seconds. I knew I could possibly do it alone, but I guess it was the thought of being alone against so many other demi-Gods. Most of the good people where probably already taken as partners, I couldn't help but wonder who was left. I decided to take my time and get ready , since nothing was going on , but of course, whenever I plan something, it doesn't turn out how I expect it to. I turned my back to go back to the cabin, and began walking the same journey I've made so many times before. Perfect time to practice my aim. I thought, beginning to list strategies in my head as I reached the Apollo cabin.

I was welcomed by a gust of cool air sending a chill down my spine. It was always cool and refreshing in the Apollo cabin, ever since my first year. I quickly Dressed in my armor, which was necessary for a game of DeathBall. I was ready, and the only thing that was on my mind was how I could win; and a slight feeling of loneliness. I stepped Of outside completely armed. It felt as if I were wearing my normal clothes, I guess you get used to it. I slipped my notebook out of a small compartment that would later hold ammo, and climbed a near tree, to survey the land. Just as I got comfortable , Distant voices rung lightly in my ear, apart of me wondered who they were.

Spoiler
Forget it, I'm switching to first person.

Timothy Eight

Saying a quick goodbye to Emi and saying an apology to the person I had crashed into, I began to feel my way across the camp grounds to my cabin as best I could, wondering what I was going to wear. Armor, of course, and I had a set, but I had never played DeathBall in all my years at camp and had no clue how to put it on. I was too embarrassed to ask for help from my cabin mates, and figured that I could figure it out if I experimented with it enough. I bounded into the Hades/Pluto cabin and dug under my bed for the box that held my armor. Making sure no one else was in the cabin, I dressed myself in it, quickly figuring out how it worked and righting it on myself. In no time, I was armored, and I carefully walked outside. The heavy armor made it difficult for me to feel right, messing with my senses a bit and throwing me off. Then, just when I thought I had the hang of it, I stumbled, crashing into yet another person who I recognized by smell and voice to be Kiara, the girl from Zeus' cabin whose table I had eaten breakfast at. I started to mumble an apology, rubbing my head where I had hit it and getting to y feet before extending a hand to help her up. "Sorry, Kiara," I mumbled. "I'm not used to this armor."

Avalon Springwater | Son of Ceres

I went as far as the lunch hall when I heard about the Deathball match. This might be my chance to prove myself other than an impulsive harvester. Ever since I've been in camp, I always wanted to have a chance at it. However, as an impulsive harvester, harvest seaons's always kept me so busy, I often heard other fellow Roman demigods call me Farm Boy behind my back. No matter, even a "farm boy" can have a little fun when the harvest is done. I had some of the recently-harvested berries in a jar, so I took a handful and ate some. I heard someone say, "How about you and me as partners, Farm Boy?"

(What's with all these 'could be anyone' posts? x_x and most of them are so short. D:

Oh, and Drag, Mason is Greek, not Roman. Hey! I think it would be an excellent twist if Mia and Jeb were childhood friends, no? :D )

Mia | Death-ball.

Mia muttered an apology to the person she ran into and moved away, putting distance between her and the crowd. She was a first-class klutz with no sense of direction whatsoever. The worst girl to have on your team. She stood awkwardly outside of the crowd when someone called her name.

"Mia Pallares? Is that you?" Mia turned to see a childhood friend, Jed Mosier.

"Jed!" She smiled brightly and tackled him roughly, secretly thrilled she knew someone here in this hell.

"Hey, how have you been?" He questioned as he gently steadied her and hugged her tightly. She let out a sigh of relief and squeezed him.

"I've been okay. You?" Mia met his green eyes with her shining sable hues, her smile widening.

"Same. How's Grace?" Jed asked.

Mia's face dropped and her eyes darkened. She balled her fists up and took a step back from him, immediately closing him out. "She died in a car wreck four months ago. No thanks to him." She snarled, turning to glare at the hearth in the center of the pavilion.

"Poseidon?" Jed questioned.

"Don't say his name! I hate him." Mia hissed, her eyes flashing dangerously.

Jed raised an eyebrow. "Okay, okay. So.. Who are you teaming up with for death-ball?" He supplied awkwardly, trying to warm back up to her.

"No one." Mia shrugged lightly and looked down, unwilling to admit that no one liked her.

"Then you and I shall team up." He nodded.

"Aren't you teaming up with that girl?" She tilted her head to someone standing nearby.

"The three of us can kick people's butts. Especially Mason's." Jeb growled, glaring over where Mason stood.

"Oh, alrighty then." Mia figured she might as well have some fun and make friends. She just wouldn't hurt Mason. Personally, she didn't have a problem with him. Plus, he was gorgeous. Really gorgeous.

--

Mason | Death-ball.

Mason smirked lightly as Jed walked away. Missed you too, pal. He thought mockingly, spinning on his heel and walking back to the crowd. He loved how everyone shot him every look imaginable, from 'who does this guy think he is?' to 'you're hot!' to 'freak'.

He really needed someone to partner up with so he could kick Jed's butt and have coverage. From what he observed, Mia and Alkan had joined Jed's team. Oh, the joy. Mason saw that Kiara, a child if Zeus, wasn't tied down yet. He contemplated asking her to team up. She was a child of Zeus. Then again, she was so pretty. And everyone knows how Mason loves pretty girls.

"Hello beautiful. Would you like to team up?" Mason surprised even himself by the gentleman way he just asked her. Was it because she was too pretty? Or because he was growing soft? Oh, dear. Insert another option here.

I arched my eyebrow coldly at Mason's voice, rolling my eyes at his sickly sweet tone. I began to walk away from the two, stumbling yet again in the stupid armor I was dressed in, before dashing off into the forest without hesitation. I no longer wanted to play this stupid "DeathBall" game. I just wanted to sit down and read, or go pegasus riding or something. Maybe just even sit in the cabin alone. Anything but make a fool of myself by trying to participate in this stupid game for ones who weren't visually impaired.
I leaned against an inner tree trunk, hiding myself from the view of the crowd. Not like anybody would notice me missing anyway. I was just the nuisance blind boy, who was always crashing into people and falling and just making a mess of everything. I sighed, sliding down against the tree and sitting on the floor of the forest so that my back scratched almost painfully against the bark. I wondered what everyone was thinking, if everyone was excited for this stupid game. I glanced up at the sound of approaching footsteps, it sounded like two people, but frowned as only one set faded away into the distance. "Hello?" I said tentatively, wondering if someone had paused by me. Heavy breathing answered me, breathing I didn't recognize. I wondered who it was.

*can be anyone, I guess. *shrugs**

Kiara - Zeus

Kiara stumbled on to the ground, just as the person who had crashed into her fell down as well. Luckily the ground had been soft, plus her armor had prevented her ribs being broken by the other person's armor. She looked at the other person and saw that it was Timothy. He got to his feet, and extended a hand towards her saying,

"Sorry, Kiara, I'm not used to this armor."

"It's okay." She replied, her voice small. It was sweet of him to help her, even though she is a daughter of Zeus. She on the verge of asking him something, when the voice of another person came.

"Hello beautiful. Would you like to team up?"

Kiara flinched at the voice. She knew the voice, and did even need to look up to know that it was Mason Hasting who had just spoken; to her! She saw Timothy leaving, looking both angry and sad. Fear started filling her, as the fact that she was now alone with a son of Hades became more pronounced.

"You've never even spoken a single word to me before. Why do you want to team up now? And don't you hate children of Zeus." She answered softly, staring at the ground, not meeting his eyes.

"Yet, I do need a team mate, as everyone else is waiting to kick my butt. And you do not seem to have one yet. So, I'm sure you can add two and two." He replied, still sounding like the gentleman he'll never be.

Kiara thought about it, and then stared at the distant figure of Kim who was now disappearing into the forest, probably going after Timothy, feeling the urge to just run after her and make Kim her team mate. Then she recalled the fiery anger that burned in her.

She looked up and right into the eyes of Mason. He, who had been staring at her body, snapped his head up to stare into her eyes.

"Alright." She said, extending her hand to shake Mason's. His hand closed around her's.

An ear-splitting sound of thunder roared through the sky...

I'll write my Cailan character after. Have no time now :D
