It seemed Paulie couldn't get away quick enough. I didn't know what else to do so i dumped the remainder of my breakfast into the fire and decided to go for a walk. Apparently attempts at friendship with Paulie wasn't going to work out this year, and that was just fine.

I continued down the path until i saw Jean Blackheart. She always seemed to be working in the forge. I mean, i know that our father is the god of the forges and what not, but she seems to take it to a whole new level. Apart from this, she is easily the best blacksmith in the camp. Hard not to be with the amount of practice she puts in.

I walked over to a bow and a sheath of arrows and began to practice my shooting. It needed improvement from the time id taken off, but it wasn't bad. After about ten minutes of practice, i could hit the bulls-eye about half the time on any distance.

After being finished there, i walked over to a rack of swords. This had always been my weakness in weapons. No matter how much time i spent, i could not master a single sword. Now, if i had a dagger in my other hand, apparently my brain decided it was ok with this, because i would instantly become deadly with the two in hand.

Finally satisfied with training, i began to walk back past the dining area when i saw a girl half way run over a blind kid. I snickered slightly to myself and kept walking. I decided to go back to the cabin to grab a book that i had been reading for some time now.

After settling down in my favorite spot on the porch on a seat of my construction, i set to finishing the book. This summer seemed that it was going to be a long one.

Mia | Poseidon's table.

Mia glanced around the pavilion idly. Everyone seemed to be partnering up for the death ball tournament starting in a couple hours. She contemplated asking Cailan to partner up; then again, she had pushed him away with her monosyllable answers. She really did terrible around people, always shutting them out and making them frustrated with her. She had issues.

Mia sighed silently and took a sip of her water. Her eyes drifted to the Aphrodite/Venus table, where that girl she loathed sat. Mini. Ugh, she was so irritating, with her perfect hair and her beautiful face. Mia absolutely detested girls like that. Mia scowled as Mini got up and walked away, wiggling her butt like she knew guys would be watching. Which they were. Ugh.

Mia arose from her seat and carried a plate of eggs over to fire in the center of the tables. She gently scraped the eggs into the hearth, watching as the flames devoured the substance and send the smell into something new, evaporation into the sky. "I miss you.." She whispered softly, the sentence trailing off into an unknown thought. Mia smiled lightly and turned away, intended on heading back to her cabin and ditching the game. Instead, she rammed into someone. "Watch it!" She snapped.

(Could be anyone.)

Trini Marks- Apollo

Everyone seemed to be dumping their plates in the fire, but since I didn't wake up in time to get a plate , I sort of just followed everyone, so I wouldn't get lost like last year. The year before, on our way to death ball, my partner had left me. I had never experienced camp on my own, so for the second time involving camp , I had to find my way.I tripped multiple times on some stupid things that just sat there, waiting for someone to fall. By the time I reached the place, my partner had found someone new and laughed at my misfortune.

I was zoned out , again, so when a girl with dark hair turned from the fire, we collided. She was pretty but her eyes looked to be elsewhere. Maybe she was thinking about something as I was. Her face was soft, but there was something about her that sent me on edge. "Watch it!" The girl half yelled at me.

"S-sorry" My voice sounded as if it didn't belong. I sounded more confident in my head; when I said it, it sounded more timid and unsure. I gave a half smile, attempting to be friendly.

(sorry it's so short.)and I fixed the photos!

Emi

After finishing her breakfast that she had eaten with Timothy, Ace, Collen, and Kiara, Emi decided that she needed to find a partner for paintball.

"Hey, Timothy, do you want to be my partner for paintball?" Emi asked.

"You do know I'm blind!" Timothy said, completly shocked that Emi had asked.

"Yeah so what?" Emi replied, completly unfazed.

"Well I have already tripped two times since you met me this morning!"
"Yeah so what?" was Emis reply.

"I can't see, I'm not going to do well at all!" Timothy couldn't belive this girl. Was she crazy or just stupid?

"Well if you have an attitude like that of course you'll lose. Now do you want to be my partner or what?"

So here's my Apollo character! :D

Name: Jedidiah (Jed) Mosier

Age: 17

Parents: Apollo and Kathrine Mosier (Roman)

Appearance: He's pretty average. Average height, average skin tone, average weight, green eyes and brown hair. The only things, really, worth mentioning is his pierced ear, his flashing bright white teeth, and the fact that he wears make-up (black tears).

Jed without makeup

Personality: Overall he's funny, mischievous, and some-what of a show-off.

Jed hates his dad, Apollo. He hates him for, as he sees it, banging his mom and leaving her. He hates him for disappointing him so many times, for all of those birthdays when Jed would secretly wish that a knock would come and he would open the door to see his real dad. And he hates him for killing his favorite hero, Orion.
Jed tries to defy his dad by refusing to use a bow and arrow. He hopes that he can shame him by being black and emo.
But in reality he is SO much like his dad. He like poetry, music, warmth, mornings, and gold.
And the kid is a musical prodigy. So much so that when he was 15 he was hired as lead guitar player in a real true-to-life, hard-core, popular band. (He's the only seventeen-year-old in the band. The next youngest player is 25). A band called Head ( http://thefrontrowreport.com/wp-content ... mage_1.jpg ) .
And even though he looks kinda freaky, Jed isn't so bad. He likes messin around and having fun, and is generally a nice guy. His only true enemy is Mason, son of Hades (if that's all right with you, Ig). They just really don't get along and have had many past "battles". I think, underneath, it's all about jealousy (for Jed it's because he envies that Mason's dad is Hades).

Other personalities:
Likes~ Black. Doing things to defy his dad. Being in a band. Being mischievous.
Dislikes~ Mason. Apollo. The cold (if it ever gets under 25 degrees, he kind of "shuts down"). And snakes.
Strengths~ Because he is Apollo's son, Jedidiah can control light. Not warmth, light. He can either dim or brighten it. But, to be a rebel, he normally uses this power to darken things. He can also wield a sword quite well. He simply refuses to use a bow and arrow and has never touched one, and even though sword fighting for him is hard, he forced himself to learn it. He's musically talented. He can climb things like nobody's business. And he's grown up learning Latin and would actually prefer having a conversation in Latin then English.
Weaknesses~ He doesn't know any Greece. He's never touched a bow. He can't run worth beans. And he "shuts down" when it gets cold.

Brief History: Jedidiah has always known that he was a demi-god. He comes to camp every summer and goes home during school months. Him and his mom live comfortably and alone in Florida. Ever since he was in the "Head" band, he's been really busy with that.

Up for love: Yes, straight. He's really not as big and bad as he appears and can be sweet and funny.

Other: Deep, deep down inside, all Jedidiah wants is for his dad to show him love. And I think that's the reason why he joined the band, so that he could be proud of him. But of course he would NEVER admit this, even to himself.

Timothy Eight

Timothy blinked. Why was everybody being so nice to him today? He shook his head, flipping his hair and smiled as he recovered. Gah he thought. Leave it to the blind kid to make a mess by running into a kid who can see perfectly. How many times was he going to trip today? He was always making a fool of himself, and more often then not he wished he hadn't been born blind. He jolted as the kid-it sounded like Ace, a kid from the Dionysus cabin-suggested he go and sit with a child of Zeus. He shrugged. "Alright." he conjured a picture of what he thought the pavilion looked like in his mind's eye and tried his best not to stumble as he made his way clumsily over there, keeping his mouth shut the entire time.
He glanced at Emi sharply after she asked him to be her paintball partner. "Are you stupid?" he snapped, then immediately regretted it. Still, his voice was scornful as he continued, "I'm blind! You do know that, right?"
"Yeah, so what?" she asked him. He rolled his eyes. "I need a partner. Please?"
There she went again, using that honey sweet voice that just melted him. He sighed in defeat. "Fine," he mumbled. "I guess."
She squealed. "Thank you!" she threw her arms around him, and he flinched as she hit several of the bruises and cuts that lined his arms underneath his jacket. He sat there awkwardly for a moment. "Uh...welcome?" he said, unused to niceness. He blinked again, unsure what else to do now.

Phew *wipes forehead* Sorry for the mega-long profile by the way!

Jedidiah~ Apollo

I watched as the "Head" band bus drove away into the rising sun and sighed, remembering last night's concert. My last one for the year. I grabbed my guitar and swung it over my shoulder. Picking up my two other bags, I climbed up half-blood hill and looked down into the valley. Camp time.

I made my way to my cabin. It was all golden and bright and shiny. I wrinkled my nose as I stepped inside. My cabin mates were all gone, most likely at breakfast, and I started laying out my stuff. I covered my bed with a black sheet and a black pillow. And then I set my black rat's cage on the desk and closed the curten next to my bed, making the area dark and shady. I hope my dad would see my work of darkness and be upset.

After I finished I walked over to Hephestus's cabin and saw Jean laying just outside of it. "Heya, Jean." I waved and walked over.

She looked up, "Oh, hey Jed! You're back from your tour. How was it?"

"Pretty dang awesome. But, hey, I was wondering if you could fix this," I pulled my guitar off of my shoulder. Then I took the guitar pick from around my neck and inserted it in a slot at the base of the guitar. After a couple seconds, it turned into a Roman sword. "We ran into some trouble and the sword is dull and bent. And as you saw, it took longer then nessicary to form." She examined the guitar. "So could you do it?" I asked again, even though I already knew the answer. Jean was the best smith in, probably, all of time. And she was the one who had made the weapon in the first place.

Jean Blackheart/ Daughter of Hephaestus

Jean examined the sword and nodded, "You know I can.L she lightly smirked and looked at Jeb.
"You owe me breakfast then." She got up and placed the sword in the leather cloth, tied it in rope.
She got up and tied her silver hair in a bun, she grabbed the covered sword and carried it on her back.
"You won't believe I just finished a big load of weapons and armor. For the big event." She walked out of her cabin and went to the armory. She felt like she was in her cabin, she started the fire.

Jean went back into the armory and started getting ready and I headed in the opposite direction to get some breakfast. I came back a few minutes later with two plates full of eggs and waffles. When I walked into the armory I was hit with a hot cloud of smoke and and ring of metal being pounded. "Jean! Breakfast!" I yelled putting the plates on a table in the middle of the room.

The pounding stopped and Jean pulled off her mask and turned around. "Oh, right now? That was fast," She said pulling off her working gloves and sitting down.

"Yeah, I don't like having to owe people," I commented as I put a bite of eggs in my mouth. "So, it was pretty busy down there, what's going on?"

"Poisonous paintball war," She said between bites of waffles.

"Oh, are you going to do it?" I asked.

Drag-Me likey the long profile!

Miki- Name at the top of the post? Note you forgot that, but it's no big deal. :D

Lynette Milliron

"If you don't mind... would you like to eat breakfast with me?" Xander asked, looking down meekly at his feet.

I flushed a little bit. He was proving to be alot sweeter than I had originally thought him to be. Chiron wasn't very strict about the changing of tables; he saw it as a strength to let people mingle. It was a good thing he was on lunch duty this week, instead of strict Lupa. I honestly would rather spend time eating with Xander rather than talking war with my half-siblings. Still, I probably should go find Kiara- explain the so called 'cat fight' to her.

"But if you need to find someone, that's fine too! You don't have to eat with me if you don't want to..." Xander rewinded guiltily.

I thumbed my lip, both annoyed- and strangely honored- that Xander thought I was the kind of person who fell for the guilt trip. I try and shine the best smile I can. It'd been a few years since I'd gotten out of that whole 'sense of depression and teen angst' stage, and I still had very few friends to show for it. Breakfast with Xander- who was extremely cute, now that I look at it- couldn't hurt.

"Of course I'll eat with you! Just...next time, note the guilt trip."

He grins like this was actually extremely useful knowlege, and leads me into the dining hall. We get in line- which is short with the late risers- and grab our food. Thank the gods that the food was actually good- blueberry pancakes, a bit of hash browns, and some sausage that didn't look like it came from horse hooves. Yum. Xander and I approach the Zeus/Jupiter table just as Kiara- surronded by a group of people leave. I try and catch her eye, but she seems involved in a conversation. I shrug it off, trying to appear unstung. I shove a little bit of each portion of my food into the fire, Xander doing the same. I take a bit of my pancake into my fork, trying to think of a question to ask.

"So, are you participating in deathball?" I ask.

He shrugs. "Probably, you?"

"'Course. Have you every heard of a daughter of Mars not particiapating in deathball?" I paused, finding myself stereotypical. "I mean, I truly do enjoy it. It's fun, I look foward to it!"

He nodds, eating his sausage. "Hey, maybe I should join in today." He grins kindly.

I blush a bit, embarassed. "Yeah. Maybe it'd be better if you had a partner in would be more fun...?" I realized I had probably just offered up myself for a partnership, if not intentionally.

Jaiden-Athena/Minererva table

I make my way to the table with my breakfast, eating quickly as I could. Sure, food was great and everything, but there were such better things for me to do with my time. Anyways, eating was sitting still, and I often got ADHD. I finished my food quickly, eating my waffles in a record time. With a sigh, I go to throw away my food, and pat down my supplies in my pocket to make sure it was still there. We had about forty-five minutes until deathball, half-an-hour until it was time to armor up. I wasn't sure if I would be participating today. Honestly, I had more fun watching than I ever had playing. Running a hand through my hair, I sigh, unsure of what I was doing. That's when I pull the ultimate smooth one- I run into someone.

*Can be anyone*

Timothy Eight

Timothy got up carefully, trying to follow the sound of Emi's voice-before stumbling, running into yet another person for like-what, he noted, the third time today? He sighed, shaking his head and whipping his hair into his milky eyes while continuing to mumble "I'm sorry" like the moron he was proving to be. He wondered how many times people got sick of him running into them, got sick of having a blind camper who could barely do anything. He sighed again, repeating another round of "I'm sorry"'s over and over.

Jean shook her head as she was chewing her waffles, "Dear gods no. I just make the weapons." She smiled lightly, as she hurried to finish her breakfast. "I'm going to finish your sword. So you can be on your way." She grabbed her gloves and hammer walking back to the anvil. "Please be careful, with anything you touch please." The fire flared as she sticked the blade in the fire.

"I'm going to finish your sword. So you can be on your way." She grabbed her gloves and hammer and walked back to the anvil. "Please be careful, with anything you touch please." And then she went back to work on the sword as if I wasn't even there.

Well then. I was going to ask her if she wanted to team up with me, but she made it obvious that I was not wanted. I shrugged and walked out of the armory, frowning when the bright morning sun hit my face. I walked to my cabin and went over to the chest at the foot of my bed. I pull out another guitar pick from around my neck and insert it in the key hole on the chest. The lock clicked open and I opened it and pulled out a poison-proof hoodie and sweat pants. They were small on me, because they were two years old, but I'd rather wear them and look silly then not wear them and possibly die from a game of paint ball. I'd like to live, thank you very much. And, besides, my fans would miss me. So I pull them over my clothes and then go over to the wall and get my old shield and armor. I was ready. I walked out of my cabin and start heading towards the Field of Mars.

Suddenly I hear somebody behind me, "Hey, look who's back!"

I don't have to turn around to know who it is. His sarcastic voice. I know that voice and it makes me clench my fists. I turn around, "Ad cantet!" I spit at him in Latin.

He smirks. "Nice clothes. I bet your dad made you put them on. Didn't want his little super star boy getting hurt by the poison. Do you wear padding when you sword fight too?"

Oh. My. Gods. I hated this kid.

"Doesn't matter," he continued, "I'll aim towards your face and hands. The bare skin. Unless you have too-small gloves and ski mask for that too?"

"How about I hit your face with the poison-paint and send you down to your father where he'll have to banish his own son to the fields of punishment because of how much of a failure he was." I retort back.

We glared at each other. And then after a while he said, "You're going down."

"You're on."

And then we parted ways.

Hope this is ok, Ignorance!

Jean stopped a while after Jed left, she sighed lightly. I'm sorry Jeb, I really can't.
She returned on forging his sword with such care, she smiled lightly at she hammered the sword down and gave it more coating to the sword. She carefully, examined Jen's sword. She quickly gave it whirl swung the sword to a target post, that was good. It was sharp enough to cut through, she pulled out the fine blade off the post, she balances the blade on her finger. It wasn't heavy or too light, it was just perfect. Jean added a few more gizmos to the sword, but she really wanted to show it to Jeb. She wrapped the sword back in its leather cloth, wrapping it in rope; only Jeb and Jean could untie the rope to expose the sword.

Jean turned off the fire and put away her ashes away. She closed the armory, and left to the Apollo's cabins to show Jeb's swords' new features. She undo her bun on her hair, as her silver hair glittered in the sun. Her hair was weird among the other Demi-gods. She had old have hair, she didn't mind her hair it was different from the others.
