Kiara - Zeus

She looked around as nobody answered her question.

"God. We are not fighting. No show here. C'est la vie," The Aphrodite girl said, sounding annoyed. She knew that no one was going to even notice her, and left, feeling down. She headed towards the dining area, which was pretty much filled with people as it was already a few minutes past 8.00

She made her way to her table, which was empty. She grabbed a plate and filled it with some eggs and waffles, then went over to the fire to scoop some of food into it.

"Father, watch over me." She whispered.

Sitting down, she started nibbling on some food, not really feeling like she could eat. She pushed her plate away after a few bites, and stared around her. The other people were happily eating, laughing, loudly talking with their friends, and here she was, all alone, with no one to speak to and no one even noticing her.

Kiara glanced at the sky. It was blue with a few wisps of clouds here and there. She knew somewhere, up there, her father might be watching her. But that did not make her feel happy or not alone, as it does before. Today, she just felt lonely and resentful for some reason.

She was lost in thought when a voice came from her side.

"Hi, is it okay if I join you?"

Someone can jump in here

Sunshine - I'm adding another character. Hope that's okay.

Name: Cailan Garcia

Age: 16 years old

Parents: Chloe Garcia and Poseidon

Appearance:
Spoiler
Image

Personality: Cailan is a quiet guy, preferring to keep himself distant from others, but he's quite friendly and funny when among friends. He sometimes make rash decisions, but due to his quick thinking, they mostly don't become bad decisions. He's highly intelligent, and loves any kind of challenge thrown at him. He's quite the charmer when it comes to girls, but he's not obsessed with them, meaning that unless they comes to him, he won't go after them, unless he really likes the girl. He's gets emotional sometimes, but that is rare, as he mostly keeps them hidden, but when he does, he longs for the company of someone and doesn't care whom it is, but he prefers the "company" to be a girl. He likes being a brother to some younger girls, as his own sister was killed in a car crash a few years ago.

Likes: He loves music, and often plays the guitar while singing the songs. He loves staying out in the rain, although he knows that it's childish. He also likes canoeing and sword fighting. He likes girls, but is not obsessed with them. He loves swimming, canoeing and horseback riding.
Dislikes: He hates flying and techno music. He also dislikes wannabes, but he doesn't show it too often. He also doesn't like making other people feel bad or embarrassed.
Strengths: He's pretty good at sword and shield fighting, but his specializes himself as a duelist. His strength, skills in battles and reflexes multiplies when he's in the water or when it's raining. He can manipulate water to a certain extent, but at only with liquid water, as he haven't fully mastered his abilities yet.
Weakness: He's abilities decrease when he's above or below ground. He get's altitude sickness even at small heights.

Brief history: He did not know about his real father until the age of 12. He was normal boy who went to a normal school and had normal friends. By then, he had accepted the fact that his father had disappeared and was probably dead. He did his school work well, but he did not remember a single thing to write for any of his exams, and usually failed all of them. He was expelled from almost five different schools for his poor results. He did not know why his mother never scolded him for his results, but he it made him sad to see how much him mother had to suffer because of him.

The only person whom he loved more than his mother was his little sister, whom he now knew, was supposed to be the daughter of Poseidon. Lilia Garcia was a beautiful little girl. She was eight and he was ten when a horrific accident killed her on the spot. He did not know then that it was the monsters that were actually responsible for the crash, but at the age of 13, he was brought to the camp by his mother after she had decided that it was too dangerous for him to be in the open world. But he had made him promise that he would come each summer to visit her. He haven't broken his promise yet.

Up for love: Yes, he's straight.

Paulie (Hermes)

It took me a while to extract myself from Alken's company, who I barely knew and didn't particularly like seeing as he couldn't even call me by my proper name. After breakfast I headed back out of the pavillion but wasn't sure where to go. I barely knew anyone here and didn't relish spending any more time with the insufferable popular kids than I could.

Then I saw this girl getting out of a car with two ginormous duffel bags. She was dressed in cutoffs, a black tank tops, and none-too-stylish cowboy boots and looked like a prostitute out of a cowboy movie. Just my type, I thought bitterly. Another weirdo who doesn't fit in. But she didn't have the face of an Aphrodite child, so I decided maybe she'd be okay. She looked nice enough, anyway. And she looked like she was having an awful lot of trouble with those bags. I watched her painful progress for a few more seconds.

Then "Wait," I called out, "Let me help you."

I jogged over to her and pulled the maroon bag off her shoulder and into my arms.

"Thanks," she huffed.

"No problem. Paulie," I added, holding out my free hand.

"Meg."

"New here?"

"Yeah," she, at least, didn't seem to rake me with judgmental looks as everyone else did.

"What cabin?" It seemed more polite than to say "Which god did your other parent have sex with."

"Demeter."

We approached the center of the green. I was surprised that no one was greeting the new kid, all seemed to be involved in their own business.

Jean Daughter of Hephaestus

Jean was already awake before the others were, before the sun arose she was tending the horses.
Starting the fire for the forgery center, she touched the anvil with such care and love.
Wearing tough jeans and light shirt since it was already to get hot inside. Wearing an apron so her clothes wont set on fire.

"Father..." a small tear left her eye, she inhaled sharply. And pulled out an unfinished sword she took the hammer, she felt proud just like her father.

Sorry my profile's a bit late:

Name: Lilli Wajara

Age (10-18): 13

Parents (Mortal and Godly): Sara Wajara and Apollo (Greek Version)

Appearance: Lilli is African American, with short black hair that she straightens into a kind of poofy bob around her face. She has deep brown eyes, a purple streak in her hair, and stands at about 5'5", a bit tall for her age. Lilli has pierced ears, and always wears gold earrings, that were her mother's. Her skin is brown, but not very dark, because of her Greek heritage.

Personality: Lilli laughs and smiles a lot, but is also quite capable of being serious and keeping a straight face. She is very studious for short amounts of time, but doesn't like staying focused for too long; if you tell her to sit in a classroom for two hours doing nothing but math problems, she will become extremely agitated and you can be sure she'll find something funner to do. She has been tested for ADHD, but she doesn't really have it. Lilli is, however, dyslexic and although she tries hard to read well, she much prefers studying or learning by ear.

Other Personalities (Likes, Dislikes, Strengths, Weaknesses): She likes playing her flute, which she learns tunes for not from sheet music, but from someone else teaching her them; namely, her mother. She also likes, of course, her archery, and is especially good at fire-shooting, shooting with the arrows on fire. Lilli does not like reading and cannot stand any writing of any sort. Basically, she's not a good one to have in your Language Arts class. Some of her strengths include looking trustworthy; she is capable of getting almost anyone to trust her, being a loyal friend, and she can shoot an arrow more than 500 meters. Also, her weaknesses include not making her friends very quickly, although she is loyal once you have earned her trust. Lilli cannot fight well with anything besides the bow and arrrow, except for occasionally dagger-fighting, and she cannot swim either; she hates water.

Brief History (Remember to include how they got to camp!): Lilli grew up in New Orleans with her mother, Sara, in a small apartment in the middle of the city. They were pretty poor, but they also lived pretty happy lives, that is, until Lilli's twelfth birthday, when her mother was killed by a gorgon and she fled into the city, eventually making her way up north to Camp Demi-God. Along the way, she encountered many more magical beasts and was quickly introduced to the life of a demi-god. She met Aphrodite and Athena as well, who told her that she was a daughter of Apollo. She would not have made it through to the camp's borders were it not for the help of Athena, who saved her from death by Medusa.

Up for love?: Yes, straight

Other: Lilli will not part from her mother's gold earrings; be warned.

Name: Trini Marks.

Age (10-18): 16

Parents (Mortal and Godly): Kendra Marks(birth mom) and Apollo.

Appearance:
Spoiler
ImageImage Image (this is how she does her hair, and the color of it.)Image

Personality: Trini Has always been the odd one out. No matter where she is , she's herself. She is usually the last one to speak up, in any instance, unless she is certain she is right (which rarely happens)You can always find her climbing things ,she's like a monkey though sometimes it is difficult for her. She loves getting revenge , but only acts on this when she has a reason to. She is not good at first impressions , because she has a secret fear of rejection that seems to operate constantly , rather she knows it or not. Trini is always smiling (unless she is thinking really hard on something) , even when she's mad, because she is planning. Despite love of revenge , she is very sweet and gentle. Trini often comes across as stupid , because when she gets nervous she talks a lot and is not the brightest.

Other Personalities (Likes, Dislikes, Strengths, Weaknesses): Some of Trini's most troublesome weaknesses , are Hesitation in battle and making choices. She has nearly perfect aim , but she lacks in upper body strength (this is not saying she is weak, she has some upper strength); she is usually very clumbsy , but her legs are her main source of power and force. Trini has a beautiful voice and is instantly talented in creative activities whenever she attempts them. Her intelligence is unnatural , even for a demigod , but she doubts herself to much to show it. She loves anything to do with feathers. She is scared of water and snakes. She loves photography and making music.

Brief History (Remember to include how they got to camp!): Since she was little she grew out believing a story that her family piled on as truth , when it was fake. They told her that her dad and mom split when Kendra announced she was pregnant, neither of them wanted a kid , so she was left in a trash can at the age of one. The only reason she knows this is because her story was posted in many news papers and the adoption center never let her forget that she wasn't wanted. Around the age of seven , she was adopted by an older couple who had already adopted three other children. You would expect them to be nice , but they only used the kids to do things they didn't want to do, basically like slaves. Each of their adopted kids had the same feeling of hatred towards them, so in fear of abandonment, they did as told. The oldest of the four , a boy named Zack, took over after their adopted parents died in a car wreck. He was eight-teen and served as a father figure over the others, That's how she lived until the day another demigod recognized some signs in Trini, then after years of research , he found that indeed Trini was a demigod. On his way bringing Trini to camp , he died over night in an ambush. Thankfully , they were close enough , that the next day , she used his map to find her way.

Up for love?: of course!!

Other: She has a thing for sons of Hades and Pluto (; and she always wears a bunch of bracelets.

Ace~ Dionysus

"Hi, is it okay if I join you?" I ask Kiara, and then sit down before she even gave a reply. "Cute dress," I complemented.

"Thanks."

I smiled. Looking at my cup, I said. "Grape soda," and the glass filled with purple goodness.

Collen came up behind me and put his plate down beside mine. He climbed his three-year-old body on to the bench and started eating. "Collen," I scolded, "What do you need to do first?" With a sigh, he climbed down again and grabbed his plate. I took mine and stepped out of the bench. "Be right back," I called to Kiara as me and Collen made our way to the fire. I dropped a piece of my eggs in the fire and asked my dad to protect me and Collen that day. I looked down and Collen threw all of his eggs in the fire. That was his way of getting out of eating what he calls "Slimy, gross, yellow mush".

I gave him a strict look. He flashed me an innocent smile and rushed back to our seats. I spun quickly to catch up with him, but I wasn't paying close attention and I ran into the person who was behind me. Eggs and juice and syrup and cool-whip-topped waffles went flying. My force pushed us to fall on the ground. Everyone stopped eating and talking and looked at the pile of food and bodies crumpled on the ground.

"Oh my gods, I am so sorry!" I said untangling myself from him. People were snickering and my cheeks flushed. I saw that he was blind and they turned even redder. I had just mulled over a blind guy! Feeling terrible, I tried to help him up, all the while repeating that I was really sorry.

Finally he said, "It's ok. I'm normally the clumsy one who runs people over... I mean, not that you're clumsy! I..uh.."

"Oh, no, trust me, I am super clumsy. And I'm still really sorry!" I looked at his food covered face, "But you do look kinda funny with your egg crusted hair and your cool-whip mustache," I giggled.

"From your plate, I presume. I don't eat my waffles with cool-whip."

I laughed, "Yeah, I really like cool-whip..."

He reached out his arm and touched my hair. "And it doesn't seem like your hair was spared either," he said, smiling.

"I suppose we're starting a new fashion statement then." I said, "Ace." I said, grabbing his hand.

"Timothy," he said, shaking his head.

"Cool. You can come sit with me and Kiara if you want. I'll go get us some more food. Unless you prefer your omlet on your head?" I saw a girl behind him, Emi, I think, and added, "You can sit with us too, if you want?" I left them to get seated and I went to get us some more food. I heard whispering as I walked past the other tables with my food-covered self. I heard something about hair from the Aphrodites table and turned to see them scrunch up their noses in my direction. I enjoyed flipping my sticky, syrup covered hair as I walked by them.

Hope this is ok! If you think that I made the wrong impression with Kiara or Timothy let me know and I'll fix it! :D

Jean Daughter of Hephaestus

Jean hammered the swo to make it balanced, she dipped it in the water and it hissed as the metal cooled.
Measuring the sword with her eye making sure that its properly forged.
She dipped the sword again on the hot fire and then she placed it on the anvil pounding it down.
She wiped the sweat off her brow, continuously until the sword was complete.
Jean was proud of herself after finishing the sword, the she was off to do the spears and arrowheads.

Trini Marks. - Apollo

I have always been a late sleeper , but man! I woke up super late! Thankfully, I had taken a shower the night before, so all I had to do was slip on some clothes, and throw my hair up like usual. I hopped out of bed , happy for not falling, and went through my clothes. Without thinking, I grabbed some blue jean shorts ,a long white button up shirt, and a red tank-top that matched the bandanna I made it a custom to wear. Since no one else was in the cabin, I didn't bother going to the bathroom. I changed and twisted my hair into my usual hairdo and secured it with my signature bandanna. I glanced at my reflection, hair , that didn't know weather it was brown, red, or blonde, relaxed in a messy bun, had random strands falling around my face and my face was bright with it's morning glow. I've never been a makeup person , but the Gods know I need to work on first impressions. Against my own judgement , I curled my lashes and applied mascara. It looked off, only because I wasn't used to it. I pulled on my shoes, the same color red as everything else, and took another look at myself in the long full body mirror. It needed something. Then it clicked. I wasn't wearing any bracelets. I grabbed a handfull off of the table, and put them on all at once. As I began to make my way out of the cabin , I snatched a black and white striped tie.

The air was cool outside, but that didn't stop the sun from heating it around my skin. I smiled , remembering my ipod in my back pocket. I plugged my ears with the black ear buds, and clicked on the music. It was on shuffle. The songs switched as I walked to the pavilion , to hopefully catch at least a piece of bread for breakfast. A prophecy by Asking Alexandria , was ironically playing when I began to think of my father , the God Apollo , who I never got to meet. I wondered what features we shared and what he was like ; but, i'm sure we all do.

As i finally reached the building, Knives and pens was playing. I stopped for a second to figure out what was going on, then I spotted everyone. I didn't want to be the first to talk to anyone, so I kept to myself , as I sort of snuck a piece of toast. One of the Hades/Pluto guys saw me, and chuckled under his breath. He was cute, what's up with me and guys in skinny jeans, and hey , he had a good sense of music according to his shirt. I acted as though it didn't happen ,and followed the group to play deathball.

MEG WOODSON / Daughter of Demeter

"Thanks, by the way," I said to Paulie. I mean, she seemed nice enough, and not too judgmental to come help me. I guess it was a start.

By the time we reached the cabin, I'd realized what the map was completely unnecessary. The cabin was adorned with a big, vine-covered sign reading "Planter's Paradise". The most striking part was the sheer abundance of greenery and plant life around the little wooden hut. I could have guessed on that alone, but of course then there was the white marble statue of my mother just a few feet away, looming and intimidating.

"This is your stop," Paulie said. "But of course you knew that." She eyed me, seemingly wary.

"Pretty much," I agreed, wading through the garden and tugging open the screen door. I set my bags on the empty bed right in front of me and turned back to get the other one from Paulie.

Instead, however, of seeing Paulie there, I saw a dark-haired boy rising from a bed that had been hidden behind the door.

"Oh," I exhaled as all the breath rushed from my lungs. "Hi." I was too distracted by the dark green eyes that I had seen so many times before--in the mirror.

The boy, although he had different shading than I did, was essentially the male spitting image of me, and, I'm guessing, our mother as well. "The boy," I'd called him--I didn't even know his name. But I knew who he was.

My brother.

Avalon Springwater | Son of Ceres

I looked at the newcomer. By the gods, a half-sibling! I came to her and shook her hand. "I'm Avalon, son of Ceres. I've been in camp for two years."
The newcomer said, "I'm Meg, daughter of Demeter. I'm new around here."
A Greek half-sibling, but I think I can handle this easy. I said, "You'll like it here. Most of the time, you'll see me coming back in the cabin with a basket of berries and whatnot. Most of the others in camp kind of wonder why I'm outdoors early in the morning, but that's not my fault. It's harvest time for some berries, so it's hard for me to miss the harvest time. After all, our mother's the goddess of the harvest." I smiled kindly. "Trust me, you'll have a great time here at camp. It takes a while to adjust, but it gets better."

MEG WOODLEY / Daughter of Demeter

Harvesting berries? I thought, as my new half sibling introduced himself. Someone takes things a little too seriously....

Avalon stood there, a little awkward, before excusing himself. I was still stunned from the whole experience as Paulie emerged from behind him and handed me my bag, watching Avalon as he left. Probably going to "harvest" berries.

"So, first time you've met a sibling of yours?" she asked.

"Pretty much," I answered. "That was kind of...."

"Awkward?" she suggested.

I laughed a little. "Pretty--"

"--much?" she completed for me, laughing.

I liked Paulie. She seemed to be, for once in my life, someone who I could get along with. I began unpacking my stuff, putting my limited clothes in the drawers by my bed. I unzipped my huge duffel and sifted through the clothes until I found what I was looking for.

"You play guitar?" Paulie asked as I attempted to tug out my acoustic Fender Squier by the neck, my long wavy hair dangling and tickling my face.

"For almost long as I can remember, yeah." I finally got my encased guitar out. "You play?"

"Nah," Paulie said.

"Well, do you have hobbies?" I said, actually interested in what she had to say. This was, like, the first conversation I'd had with a peer in years (not including the ones where I was referred to as "loose", a "tramp", or accused of having the clap.)

"Sure. I mean, I like sports, running.... I read a little."

"Well, I'm not much for book smarts, but I definitely do my fair share of sports. Thank god, I was so worried I wouldn't find anyone with a real personality."
"You've gotta swim, don't let yourself sink. Just find the horizon, I promise you, it's not as far as you think. The will drag us away from our love. Just keep your head above."

It seemed like I had redeemed myself on the walk with Lynette. She wasn't as angry at me as she was before. I could tell that she was starting to see me as a gentleman, now, and I was glad. The only people who knew of my real personality were the children of Hades, and I wanted to keep it that way.

"So, I guess we depart now?"

I smiled, relieved that she was buying my act now. I ran my fingers through my hair and looked behind me at the dining hall. "If you don't mind... would you like to eat breakfast with me?" I looked down at my feet, feigning embarrassment. Girls always fell for modest guys, right?

It seemed that she wanted to find someone, though, so I quickly tried to be considerate. "But if you need to find someone, that's fine too! You don't have to eat with me if you don't want to..." Guilt, the next best thing. What kind of girl was Lynette, anyway? What kind of tactics would I have to use in order to get her to see me as a gentleman?

Jean Blackheart/ Daughter of Hephaestus

Jean finished the arrowheads, spears and swords.
Her hands blacked by the dirt of the coal and ash of the metal. She made three dozen of steel, bronze, silver weapons. Just one dozen of gold, platinum, heavenly material weapons.
This was a big order, she was successful on completing the order of weapons.
Now for the armor, she did that the day before.
She left the armory and locked the weapons and armor.
Jean inhaled sharply, as she stretched out as she walked out to the grass. She yawned softly as she made her way back to the small cabin. She noted that the other bed hasn't been occupied, she liked it that way. No one to bother her and the duties that she needs to fulfill for these demi-gods.

Dragonette - No, the post was good. But uhh... my character's name is Kiara, not Kiera. :D

Ladyofthedeathroses - Is it alright if I use your "Arianna" character?

Cailan - Poseidon

Sitting on the porch of his cabin, he stared into the distance, his eyes glazed, not seeing the bluish mist rising above the trees only to disappear in the rays of the early morning sunlight. He was up before almost all the other campers, which usually meant that he ate his breakfast alone and was finished before the others come. He shook his head to get himself out of his stupor and scanned the camp around him. The dining area was now filled with other campers. He concentrated on them, picking out random people.

His half sister Mia was sitting alone at the Poseidon table. He felt bad for leaving her alone, but from the little information he had about her, she liked being alone. He had never had a real conversation with her, as the most he got out her were annoyed, two-word replies. He sighed and looked around the area again.

Kiara, who had been sitting alone not eating, had now been joined by several others of different cabins, including a child of Pluto. He had intended to join her before, but now, with the company she had, the idea had vanished. Not that he detested the people of Hades or Pluto but he just didn't like them.

'Genetics most likely' He mused.

He looked around for the third time wanting to glimpse the person he wanted to see each morning, but never really gotten around talking.

'Where is she?'

She was not at her dining table and nowhere around the cabins either. Then, almost accidentally, he spotted her sitting on the lower branches of a tree with a book. Smiling slightly, he got up from the porch and headed over to her. He had never talked to her, but he sort of willing to try. He tried to imagine what she would say.

"Hi there!" Cailan called up once he came to the foot of the tree.

She jumped at the sound of his voice, startled, and then looked down. She smiled sweetly at Cailan.

"Hi. I've seen you around before. Don't really know your name. I'm Arianna, daughter of Athena." She replied, closing her book.

"Pleased to meet you. I'm Cailan, son of Poseidon." He said.

"Poseidon?" Arianna jumped down from the tree and landed on her feet in front of him. She put her hands on her hips and frowned.

One half of Cailan's mind admired the soft features of Arianna. Her stunning grey eyes, her soft lips, the fact that she's several inches shorter than he is. The other analyzed why the sudden change in Arianna happened, and quickly gave him the answer. Poseidon and Athena never got along well and they were rivals. He mulled things over.

"Oh come on. Just because our parents are rivals, it doesn't mean that we have to be rivals as well," He stated, and then to make it sound polite, he added "Right?"

She glanced at the ground, and then looked up, dropping her hands to her side.

"I... suppose." She finally answered, cautiously.

"So... does that mean we can be friends?" He asked, wondering why his heart was beating so much. He never became this nervous when talking to girls.

She smiled again and winked. "We'll see..." She replied before climbing back on to the tree.

Cailan, feeling content, started walking back to his cabin. He had walked a few meters before he remembered the Deathball match set for that day. He turned around.

"Hey Arianna, do you need a partner for Deathball today?" He called, mentally crossing his fingers, hoping she would say yes.

I'll leave the answer of Arianna to Ladyofthedeathroses
Warden: "If you want to lead, all you have to do is ask."
Alistair: "What? Lead? Me? No, no, no. No leading. Bad things happen when I lead. We get lost, people die, and the next thing you know I'm stranded somewhere without any pants."
