The Troupe

In 1875, there was a traveling show. The show was called, "The Troupe". Anyone who saw this show was forever changed. This show was a play on every audience member's imagination. The actors had special talents that allowed them to look into peoples soul, where the imagination lies ("deep reading"). Some of them could change their voices(impression), some could turn into animals (lycansy), and others could change scenery around them (illusionary). There was no doubt in any one's mind that those traveling actors were the most talented people on Earth. Some even thought of them as angels.

Others did not think so highly of them. There is an association of men, known as The Wolves, who wish to rid the world of "sorcerers and witches". They've successfully killed two of the original Troupe members, and will hunt them down until every last one is destroyed.


Rules:

Don't kill anyone without their permission.

Language is allowed, but don't make it every other word. That gets old after a while.

Name: Devi Serene

Physical Appearance:

-Height: 5'7 or 173 centimetres. She is rather tall for her age though most guys tower over her. Her legs are what give her her height.

-Weight: She is 57 kilograms though she has a slim build and is rather easy to pick up.

-Hair: She has long brown hair that falls down to the middle of her ribs in different layers. She had thick bangs that fall past her eye brows and the top of her hair is shorter like scene hair though it does not stick out. She has two white and blue plaits in her hair that fall on either side of her head.

-Eyes: Deep brown eyes with thick black eyelashes. Her eye colour go from an autumn brown in to an almost black ring around the side.

-Other: She has slightly chubby cheeks that are red from people always pinching them. She has a tan-cream skin tone with a slim build. Her eye brows are arched naturally though most people think that it is fake. Devi looks younger than most people think though she is actually sixteen.

Style of Dress: On the side of her head she wears colourful feathers placed out like wings. On her body she wear a multi coloured tutu and a pitch black fish net under lay. On her feet she wears large boots with small ribbons on the side.

Personality: Childish and bubbly Devi is always running around and hardly ever can sit down. She is very caring and likes to give people a hand when they are in trouble. Sometimes she is outright and says things a little to fast though she is very smart behind her childish personality.

History: Her mother and father being wolves, she was left as an orphan when she was younger to fend for herself in the wild. In this time Devi learnt how to fight and survive very well discovering she could change into animals made her life a lot easier. One day the troupe came and she was invited in to be one of them saving the troupe from trouble many times for her small connection to the Wolf's.

Name: Valentine "Lovie" Jones

-Height: 5' exactly

-Weight: pretty small, very small waist but she got some fierce curves, if you catch my drift '~'

-Hair: Very light blond, usually wears it up, but when she let's it down it goes down just below her shoulder blades. Would that be the middle of her back? I don't know. It's medium length xD

-Eyes: black eyes, but sometimes if you look at them from the right angle in the right light they actually look dark purple

-Other: Almost always wears red lipstick

Style of Dress: Likes to wear heels and pencil skirts or puffy skirts that reach to about mid-thigh. Likes to wear corsets or other very constructed shirts.

Personality: Lovie is pretty sweet, despite her rather sultry appearance. She often doesn't know what to say, so she babbles a lot, and she's just about the best friend you can get. Nice. sweet, loving, kind of shy and great to talk to

History: Was kicked out of her (wealthy) home at the age of 15 when her father found out she was planning to elope with the stable boy. She soon found out her loverboy was a drunk and a gambler and often found himself going home with other women, so she left to find herself somewhere else to live. Her father wouldn't take her back so she was forced to live on the streets for about a month before the Troupe found her.

Name: Coraline Seville

-Weight: 140



-Hair: Long, light brown hair that's usually straight. It goes down to her shoulder blades.



-Eyes: A pretty bluish green

-Other: She isn't skinny, but she isn't overweight.

Personality: Coraline is a nice person to those she likes, but if she doesn't like you, then stay far, far away from her. She doesn't trust people easily. I'll add to this part later.



History: Coraline grew up never knowing her father. She grew up in a brothel, where her mother Stella was the cook. She was kept far away from the women and men, so she grew up in her own company. When she was thirteen, she found that she could make people see what she wanted them to see. She used this to run away from home. A month later, she saw the show and begged for them to let her join. They consented, and she's been with The Troupe ever since.

Personality: Vincent's a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. He gets along well with people - from those he works with in the Troupe, to anyone who watches them perform. He loves using his power, but doesn't like the thought of cheating people with it, only entertaining them.

History: Vincent discovered his power at an early age, when he started making things in his imagination appear to real people. His parents were frightened by this, believing that their son was a black magician, and that the whole family would be hunted down and killed. So they left Vincent behind one day while at the local carnival, which just so happened to be run by the Troupe. At first, the Troupe seemed unwilling to take him in, sending out a few people to try to find his family. They couldn't, however, and when it became clear that Vincent was an illusionist as well, they agreed to let him join.

Personality: Lucian is more the quiet type, and doesn't cooperate well with others. He doesn't trust easily, and tends to question the motives of everyone around him no matter how well he knows them.

History: Lucian was born a Wolf. His parents were strong Catholics, and his father used his travels with a merchant as an opportunity to hunt 'witches' and 'sorcerers' in just about every part of the world. His mother, however, was schizophrenic, and eventually committed suicide. His father believed it to be the work of a witch, and Lucian quickly came to agree with him. Soon after, he was inducted into the Wolves, and given the role of hunting the Troupe.

Style of Dress: dress shirts with the sleeves rolled to his elbows and dark jeans or dark dress pants. Always looks nice.

Personality: Very quiet and subdued until he gets in front of people to perform, then he is very personable, exciting, and loud. No one doubts his ability to captivate an audience.

History: Noah is a mystery. He showed up one day at a carnival ran by the Troupe with barely any memory at all. He had wandered out of a nearby forest with a group of animals following him. In this group, there seemed to be two of each kind of animal (hence the name Noah being given to him). Most of the animals didn't stay, but for two tiger cubs who rarely leave Noah's side. He has been with the troupe ever since.

Other: Noah is an excellent acrobat and stuntman (aided by his Deep Reading ability, he can give the people what they want) Has two tigers: Kato (male) and Sage (female)
