note:This based on a book by? uh that guy that did the young bond series even though they were bull this book was actually pretty good.

Story: A year ago now a mysterious virus swept the world and every body over fourteen died from a horrible disease. Soon the kids were left all alone. No food no electricity no one telling them what to do. Some kid cried some rejoiced and parted late and drunk. Soon the kids found out they weren't all alone. Some of the grown ups hadn't died. some were still left driven mad by the virus and still slowly dying. The only thing they want now is to hunt the kids. They'll chase you, they'll rip you open, they'll feed on you. After a year their are only small pockets of children left. Most of you are starving having to leave the safety of their sanctuaries to scavenge for food. Sadly life is getting harder for the kids as the grown ups seem to be getting smarter and more organised, even setting traps.

note: the originals based in england but this ones going to be in new york.

Rules:

1. No sex scenes, romance is alright.

2. your character can't be older than 15 if they were they would of been killed by the virus.

3. Some swearing is aloud their kids after all

4. no killing off an-other's character

5. If you don't want to continue don't be an A**hole and just stop posting pm me and do one more post in which your character dies or you give control of it to someone who wants it.

Bio template:

Name: [nickname optional}

Age: 0-14 {please no baby's}

appearance:

personality:

job in group: {if you want to be the leader ask, first come first serve, fighters[if you want to be the best fighter say] brains[ your normally worst fighters but better traction's can't be more than two of you] Little one [your under ten and still get scared by the little things though some of you pretend to be braver] Engineers [your smart and make things like barricades and defences as well water duct for rainwater and chimneys, you help keep the place running.] Doctors [your parents were doctor or nurses and you picked a view things up]

History:

weapon: [their aren't that many guns while theirs a lot in America after a year they have little or no ammo and since ammo isn't essential you probably won't go looking for it in purposefully weapons are mostly home made spears a slingshot or if your lucky a bow an arrow

up for love:

note: Your character could be depressed you have lost both your parents after all

Grown ups: Their not like real zombies you can kill them from any injury. They move slow but can go into a jog and even sprint for awhile. Since their still living things they do need to sleep and often rest in nest at places that were familiar to them, like football and baseball stadiums. Their easy to fight one by one but their numbers can overwhelm anyone.

Name: James MacTavish

Age: 14, almost 15

appearance: Tall for his age with dark brown hair and bright green eyes. He has pale skin and is slightly sick looking. He has bags under his eyes, and has a generally unkept appearance.

personality: He is very reserved. He doesn't talk much, but when he does he has a strong irish accent. Everything that has happened has left him with a very realistic view of the world. He generally says things as they are, but he knows when not to scare people. Despite all of this he has a strong sense of honor, and believes that if he and the others don't uphold it, then the are all going to die.

job in group: he's one of the best fighters but he isn't front line. He's a sneak so he prefers to stay in the shadows. He likes to go and find food and other stuff for everyone.

History: Parents came from Ireland, but died early. He went to an orphanage and grew up there.

weapon: Carries two knives, one for regular use, and one for combat. He also carries a small hatchet since it can be used for survival and combat. He also has a machete he's ground down into a slightly curved sword. Sometimes he uses a bow.

I'm up! My first role-play/storybook on this site, but I've done them before... I love this idea, by the way. Can't wait for it to really start up!

Name Alycia 'Ali' DeNouement Yay for pun-names!
Age 14 & 1/2. Birthday: June 31
Appearance Ali has dark red, almost brown, thick, long, pin-straight hair (overgrown side-bangs). She has almond-shaped, dark emerald green eyes with thick lashes. She isn't pale or tan- instead, a happy medium. Being 14, she's not quite 'developed' fully, so she's a bean-pole 5'6". She is, however, a very fast runner. She did cross-country in her middle-school, and was the best in the state. She can run long and fast without getting very tired. She carries 5 different-colored hair elastics on her wrist, in case she needs to run because she hates having hair in her face, but doesn't want to cut it short. Doesn't have very well-developed upper body strength, but isn't completely lacking in that field. If provoked, she can easily muster up a surprising amount of strength.
Personality Ali has a very strong sense of morals. She's also often plays the role of the therapist. She's very good at solving problems and various other forms of conflict-resolution. She loves kids and is generally great with them, often providing comfort when they're feeling down. May provide a maternal role for some of the littler kids. She's also reluctant when confronted with face-to-face combat. This hesitation can be unfortunate when this type of situation presents itself. She prefers to stay in the shadows, watching and learning, figuring out the dynamics of the situation. Because of this, she's a very good strategist. She doesn't like being in charge, though. Instead, she will likely be the leader's consultant. She can be forceful and commanding when necessary, however.

Another characteristic of hers is her sarcasm- she'll use it freely and amply if someone is being stupid. She's not afraid to point out other people's problem's either. She's also not easily swayed one way or another. She's more likely to look at things from a third person perspective and make un-biased decisions. She looks at things from a realistic point of view, and doesn't garner false hopes.

She can sometime's get cocky, though. She doesn't break under pressure, and this can *very* rarely cloud her realism and make her underestimate a threat. That doesn't happen very often, though.

Job in Group Definitely 'Brains', but she's not terrible in combat.
History The youngest of two. Her older sister Lydia (who was 18) is still out there, and before the virus they were really close. She won't tell anyone, but she's bent on finding her and killing her herself. Both her parents are dead. Her mother, Ariana, was a therapist, and that rubbed off on Ali. Her Dad was a Firefighter, and his constant displays of bravery rubbed off on her as well. She was a good student in school. She got straight A's, and even skipped fifth grade, but she generally won't brag about it. She's modest and won't tell others too much about herself unless truly necessary.
Weapon A bow and arrow. Her dad taught her how to use them, and even how to make some arrows with tools found in nature. She uses a strong bow that her dad made himself on her birthday six months prior, engraved with 'To my daughter- In hopes that you'll keep this forever, no matter how old you get'.
Up for Love Suree ;]

Bio template:

Name: Natasha Habert

Age: 14

appearance: Short choppy black hair, pale freckled skin, and deep blue eyes. She tall, svelte and strong. She has a dancer's build. She has pointy elegant features but they're always looking at you in a very imposing way.

personality: She's tough, defiant and bold. She's very blunt. The type of person who holds justice over mercy. She is impulsive and has an itchy trigger finger. She is a leader and leads her group into raids against other groups for food and resources. She's imposing but has the ability to be friendly. She's bright and logical, but her conscience isn't the first voice she takes into consideration. She's pretty bitter as well and funny in a sardonic way.

job in group: Fighter. She has a dead on aim, she's fast, light on her feet and good at concealing her presence.

History: She killed her dad herself after he went crazy because of the virus. Her mom and her older brother died. She was pretty much a loner, concealing herself in shadows and stealing food from other groups, for a while but then joined the group for support.

weapon: Her dad collected old relics, so she has the razor sharp sword off the living room wall slung over her back. She keeps a pistol in her combat boot loaded with home made bullets and home made molotov cocktails stashed in holsters on her belt, and in her other boot. She also makes shivs, pipe bombs, zip guns, smoke bombs and other improvised weapons.

up for love: yep.

Name:Simon( pronounced See-Mone) Flack
Age:13
Appearence: Short black hair he keeps under a Black and grey skull cap. His hair is curly so the bangs curl up beneath the skull cap's rim. His light brown, he has tan skin and freckles. He tall for a ninth grader and his features are handsome and angular. He was brought up in a military family and his dad likes to run. Naturally (much to his regret) his father brings him along on his jogs every morning so he has a runner's build.

Personality: He's outgoing and talkative. His mom always gets on to him for talking for hours with someone even if he meets them for the first time. He talks to everyone as if they're the most important person to him.

Job in group: Hopefully leader...if Jok's ok with that. Fighter's wouldn't hurt neither.

History:When the grownups changed his father attacked and nearly killed his eleven year old brother. His dad tried to murder him with a knife. He never saw his mom after she changed. She was at work. Needless to say Simon escaped with his little brother in tow.

Weapon: Simon managed to find his dad's gun hidden under the mattress in his parent's room. Simon had to use it that day...

up for love: maybe...

We were all here by some matter of chance. I was still amazed at how quickly our group had formed. I myself had been wandering the streets looking for food, when a kid grabbed me a told me to follow him inside the wal-mart. I scanned the makeshift sanctuary for him- Simon, I think his name was- and found him with a group of kids against the opposite wall, looking ready to go to bed. Simon seemed to be the leader. I was certainly fine with that. It looked like people listened to him. Definitely a good thing.

The wal-mart was really very secure. Some kid had hooked up a blow torch to what was surely one of the last working generators in the world. A year had exhausted most alternative forms of power. I hadn't seen a working light bulb in months. Anyways, Blow Torch Kid had welded the doors shut with scrap metal, so it was pretty difficult to get in. Or out, for that matter. There was probably another exit kept secret by Simon or one of his buddies, a group sitting at the far end where the electronics used to be kept. There were two boys and a girl, talking close, making plans, it seemed.

I was one of the oldest ones here, that I could tell, besides that group. They all seemed to be kids around my age. I figured I might as well join them.

I went to walk over to them when two little kids- brother and sister, it looked like. Maybe even twins- came up to me, the girl sucking her thumb nervously. They were both around seven, with feathery blonde hair and dark blue eyes. They had petite features, sharpened by their thin frames. The boy was the one that spoke.

"Miss, are we gonna stay here for a long time?" His voice was small. I smiled encouragingly.

"I'm not sure, sweetie, but I think we'll stay here for a while. There's quite a bit of food stocked up, and we're all in good company. I wouldn't worry about it. Why don't you and your sister get some sleep?" I pointed to a row of cots and sleeping bags where furniture used to be sold. The little boy looked sullen, then nodded. He grabbed his sister by the hand and they walked over to the person organizing sleeping arrangements.

I started out once again to the group in the corner. They didn't notice me approaching, so I decided I'd just interrupt. "Hey there. I'm Ali. Are you guys friends with Simon?"

A kid wearing a black pea coat with a red hoodie and shaggy brown hair answered. "I guess so," he shrugged. He had an english accent. "He just rounded us up about an hour ago. Said we looked like kids who could help."

I was about to ask more, when Simon himself came over. He looked pleased to see me here. "Oh, Great! I was about to go ask you to come over here." He looked around the room. "Do you guys see anyone else around our age, anyone who looks like they could help run this place?" I scanned the room. There were a few kids I wasn't sure about.

Any additional characters, I guess you guys can just come up, or we can see you. =]
