………………

I looked straight at the girl who was daydreaming in my class. It usually gives students the fright to be woken up during a class, but those are not my reasons. People who walk in my classroom learn, not doze off.

“Ms. Karmikal, what is the capital of Poland?” I asked. The elemental boy near her looked up at me then back at her, nudging her in the shoulder. She obviously felt it and looked at the boy whisper something.

“Warsaw?” she asked confused. I shook my head amused.

“Correct.”

The girl then looked at me and realization dawned on her. I then went back to writing and lecturing on Poland and other east European countries.

………………

Okay scratch what I last said. Risa and I came up with an idea that we need to stay in school a little longer. You all might find the letters in your lockers the next day because I still have to find signatures and I can only do that when the elemental is actually elementaling. *GASP* Air! I Need Air!

Okay, I’m all right (Risa don’t you dare say anything about that!)

If this is okay then cool. If not then I will bend if someone doesn’t like this idea and has another one.

Sure, that sounds fine.
And Maybe PMed me and said that tonight she'll come and see what she can post. I guess the two mentors will be getting together to....idk, discuss, plan etc., if that's ok.
It just dawned on me that we don't have anyone playing Earth. Do you guys want me to take it? Or does anyone else want to? Or should we just do away with that element?

I'll take Earth unless someone else wants it. Also, are mentors supposed to have gifts as well as give the gifts?

Yay! Jaden, have I ever told you how much I love you? lol.

And the answer to your question:

Option 1: You can have the gifts with you and give them to the elementals as soon as they say the spell and come to you,
OR
Option 2: The elementals say the spell, come to you and then we have to go to a temple/castle/place to retrieve the gifts so they can begin training and stuff.

Option 1 is quicker, but Option 2 has more room for getting aqcuainted (sp?) and getting used to each other. Or not, in which case the mentors will be breaking up a couple of fights. :)

It's everyone's vote. I personally like option 2, but whatever ya'll decide will be fine with me.

*blush* Okay, I like option 2 first, but I still have to find all of your elemental signatures before the mentors can place the letters.

:)

I'll wait one more day before I take earth so if someone else comes here they can take it. If no one does... oh well.

{Erica}

The bell finally rang and every student temporarily got themselves out of their individual comatose. I instinctively jumped out of my seat and headed towards the door. About three people had gotten out of the room before me.

I had P.E. next. And, according to the letter, we were swimming. Today. Which was kind of weird.

There were three reasons I was taking P.E. Three reasons only.

1. it was required by the state
2. No homework
3. Swimming.

And, I just like swimming because it’s the closest humans can get to really flying. It helps that I’m good at it too.

Haven suddenly pulled up next to me.

“Stalker.” I muttered before I could stop myself. This place had already reminded me of a cage. A cage made of people too arrogant or ignorant of how the world really turns. A world that refuses to show their true colors.

“You wish.” He muttered back. We both headed upstairs to our lockers, which were organized by grade. Stairs tend to be my weakness. Not only to I trip down them, but I defy gravity and trip up them.

And, according to my nature, I did trip up them and bruise my knees. What a wonderful start.

“Problems?” He grinned at me, and I ignored him. I wanted to say something, bu we both walked in an awkward silence until I reached my locker and smiled.

“My stop.”

“Uh…se ya.” And he walked on. I felt a pang of sadness as I turned to rummage through my binder to find my combination. I hate lockers.

I vote we move the little end notes to the DT. It’s kind of unused and it feels unloved.

Just because Jade mentioned me not saying something, I promised her I would say something. *evil grin* Are you sure you’re okay, Jade? Cause…(I’m not going to finish this sentence because Jade scares me…sobs)

I’m done with my useless ranting.

Hey eveyone, I'm sorry but I have found that I can't take on the responsibility as the earth elemental as well as the female mentor. So now Earth is up for grabs to whoever wants it.

Sorry again.

Gregory-

As everyone hurried to their next classes I thought back on geography class. It seemed to me very strange that there should be a blackout. Not because it was the first day of school and the first class in school, but because I was almost sure that the school ran on electrical generators. Plus the teacher didn't seem very upset about it. I quickly pulled myself together, Stop imagining things! I thought, And quit reading books late at night.

15 minutes later the bell rang and most of the students go out of their as quick as possible. I seem to have made an impression, but who knows with teenagers. I looked at my schedule and saw that I had a meeting with the other pool aids. (Pool aids are people who inspect the pool area and how it is being treated. I unfortunately volunteered to help)

By the time I got there, the other pool aids were circling the large expanse of water with students in it.

“Ms. Greene! Finally!” said a short chubby man, the campus director.

“It’s good to see you too Bob,” I said sarcastically. He did not catch my tone but dragged me over to the group of others and pointed at the water.

“Put down that the water is greener than yesterday as well,” he said to a person with a clipboard. Must be his assistant or someone who was told to jot down notes.

“Look at how fast they are going, tsk tsk. Snails could go faster,” said another aid. I looked out into the water and saw students unwillingly doing laps. Poor kids.

Then something caught my eye. A girl was going noticeably faster than the other students. The water looked like it was pushing her through. I scrambled to get out my glasses without drawing attention to myself. Fortunately I was successful and placed the fragile lenses on the bridge of my nose. A blue glow surrounded the girl scimming through the water.

Elemental Signature.

YAY! Earth has been claimed and TN is BACK! woot!
Okay, I'll do my best to bring Dusty in. Is Kaleb still in school?

~~~Haven~~~
When I left Erica I felt a small pang of sadness. Why? It wasn't like I liked her. I didn't even want friends, for goodness sake.
I continued to walk down the hall, pulling out my ipod and placing the headphones in my ears, causing 'My Immortal' to begin blasting through my brain. I had the music up so loud I didn't notice when I crashed into a girl.
I hit head on I supposes, the force knocking us both to the ground.
"Sorry!" I said, standing up slowly and brushing my self off, then extending a hand to the girl to help her up.
~~~
Ok, is that alright? And if Kaleb is in school, tell me and I'll revise it. Or you can write him in TN, idk. :)
