Sam~

Sam stood, her ear and arm fully wrapped. "Thank you for treating me and Tsune for dinner. I've got to get to Fort Starstrike before morning." She climbed weakly onto Tsune.

"But Starstrike is a three day travel," Shiro argued.

"Not when you ride a wolf that is faster than any horse." She shot back. "I hope to see you again." She lightly tugged on Tsune's fur, automatically breaking into a run.

By the time the sun had gone down she was a mile away from Fort Starstrike. Tsune picked up speed, soon reaching the gates. "Open the gates!" Someone shouted and the gates pulled up, revealing the fort. She smiled at the guard and Tsune slowly walked through the area.

((Just say you like saw me or something...This is as far as I could really get)

((Quinn))

"Wake up Lady Quinn!"

Quinn was awoken by the sound of Leon's voice. She was confused for a moment, why had Leon called her Lady Quinn? He never did that. The door burst open and Leon strode into her house, fully dressed.

"Have you ever heard of a werewolf named Samantha?" his face was creased with worry.

Quinn quickly buttoned up her night gown and went into her bathroom, not bothering to close the door, "Yes, I have! She was an old colleague of mine. Why?"

She came back out, dressed, and looked at Leon who looked a bit calmer, "Well, she almost ran into the gates so we opened them for her. She's waiting for you outside."

Quinn smoothed her pink blouse out and walked past Leon, out the door. Leon followed and shut the door behind him. He trotted to catch up and Quinn crossed Starstrike's grounds. A black haired girl lay slumped over a large wolf who panted slightly.

"Sam!" Quinn ran over to her and Samantha straightened and grinned, "Lady Quinn."

Quinn helped her slide off of Tsune's back and onto the ground, she looked hurt. "I traveled from Senpai after some guards came into a pub, looking to bring my head back home with them."

Nodding Quinn looked over Sam, her arm was wounded but it looked recent, "Never knew Tsune could run so fast..." Quinn commented, "Can you heal yourself?"

Sam hook her head as she leaned one Quinn, "Too tired."

Quinn nodded, "Scarlo!"

"What!?" came the harsh reply. Scarlo emerged from the infirmary, limping as fast as he could.

"Come get Sam to the infirmary and look her over. She has a few wounds that might be infected."

Scarlo nodded grimly and took a hold of Sam, taking her to the infirmary. For a crippled old man he was strong. Tsune growled lightly and followed.

"Jessob! Gemme some herbs 'n do it fast!" Scarlo barked at his apprentice. A little blonde boy bowed and ran off into the fort's storage.

Quinn sighed and crossed her arms, she spotted the Queen and Ayro watching the spectacle from their bunk houses. Ayro waved and ushered the Queen back inside.

"What're you thinking?" Leon had come beside her, his green eyes tracing the grounds.

Quinn sighed, "Ol' Scarlo won't let me near the infirmary until he's done but I want to see Sam. I've missed her."

Leon half nodded, "Intimate conversations?"

Quinn was about to answer but processed what he said, she glowered up at him. He wasn't even smiling. she punched his arm, hard. "Not funny!"

He finally revealed his amusement, "Well, you wouldn't marry me so I thought..."

"That is because you are an uneducated, senseless mage!"

Leon laughed, "Indeed I am a mage, dove, yet I am not uneducated nor am I senseless." he leaned over so his head was next to Quinn's and sniffed, "See? I can smell your utterly delectable scent just wafting off of your loveliness."

Quinn sighed and playfully punched Leon where she had before. He yelped and rubbed his arm, "Touchy."

Quinn sighed, "Go make yourself useful. Intercept Jessob and tell him to make Scarlo call me in right when he's done."

Leon sighed dramatically, "Yes, Mother." and trotted off to find Jessob.

"Not a moment later!" yelled Quinn.

Shiro-

He smiled as Sam and Tsude disappeared into the distance. It caused him to blush. Shiro hadn't felt this good since before his father's death. He fallen in love with a wolf girl called Sam.

"Fort Starstrike, hmmm, I'll see her there." Shiro muttered as he walked towards the fort.

Sam~

Sam winced and burried her head into her good hand as Scarlo squeezed a stinging herb juice onto her arm. Tsune growled lightly but Sam quieted him, turning his growl into a whimper. His apprentice, a blond haired boy ran into the infirmarary, carrying a few more herbs. "Lady Quinn asks that you tell her once you're done," he said, his voice coming in lowly whispers. The old man nodded, but kept his eyes on the hole in Sam's arm.

"You do this?" asked Scarlo, pointing at the arrow hole and squeezing more herb juice onto it. Sam let out a small whimper and nodded.

"I did. I was shot and had to push it through," she replied. Scarlo nodded, grabbing a cloth wrap off the carved table next to him. He wrapped it tightly around Sam's arm, sighing every now and then.

"Tell Lady Quinn she may come in." Scarlo sighed, turning away from Sam and sitting in a chair in the corner of the room. The apprentice, Jessob, nodded and ran off towards Quinn's house.


Quinn walked into the room swiftly, Jessob and another person behind her. "What happened?" She asked automatically.

"It's good to see you too, Quinn." Sam laughed and sighed in pain, "I was charged with murder of a guard that was drunk and attacked me a few moons ago. The guards from the town of Renian have been chasing me for a while and caught me in a pubb," she took in a shaky breath, "I ran off as they shot at me. A arrow stuck deep into my arm and a few others grazed me here and there. So I came here seeking temporary refuge. If that's okay. If not I'll leave and pay you back for the medical help." She smiled teasingly.

Shiro-

Spreding his wings (angel wings- not icy dragon wings) Shiro headed towads the fort.

**Gah, I can't keep up. I'm dropping out.**

((Quinn))

Quinn scoffed, "Do you insult my hospitality?"

Sam grinned, wincing as she pulled herself up, "Of course, friend."

Scarlo scowled behind the bed, "Let her rest. She'll need it to start healing herself." He turned and limped off past countless beds and into his office.

Quinn's shoulders sagged as she sighed, "Very well. Get some rest here and Scarlo'll let you stay in my quarters tomorrow, alright?"

Sam absently waved her hand, "That's fine. As long as I get to see you tomorrow, we have some catching up to do. Who's your friend?"

Quinn followed Sam's gaze to find Leon, sitting next to a man in pain. A scarlet-orange fire rolled off of Leon's hands and disappeared into the man's body. th man stopped struggling and relaxed, soon snoring.

"Leon of Silver Hill, the best friend a knight could ever have." she sighed, "I'm off, townspeople to yell at, work to do, plowing. Come by my quarters when you're fully healed."

Sam smiled and nodded, "Alright." she shot a glance at Leon, "Could he make me sleep faster?"

Quinn nodded, "Hey Leon?"

Leon looked up at her and she nodded him over, "Yes, dove?"

Quinn sighed, "Can you put Sam to sleep?"

Leon looked appalled, "I can't do that! It's inhumane!"

Quinn's face wrinkled in confusion but straightened itself once she understood, "No more cracking werewolf jokes. Do it."

Sam rolled her eyes but quickly closed her lids after Leon brushed a finger along the length of her arm, "Happy Mother?"

Quinn laughed, "Incredibly. Com'on, let's go work on repairing the west wall."

Leon sighed rather dramatically, "I don't wanna, mummy! It's cold and wet and tiring and the soldiers smell funny!"

Quinn cuffed him behind the ear. Leon grumbled something about food and opened the door for Quinn. She grinned, Leon was too dramatic for his own good.

i flew through the night i heard sounds of the forest as i flew. dawn approached in the east. i landed and shifted to a giant cat and continued to run. i smelled a human encampment nearby. i ran to the top of the nearest hill and looked down. i saw a fort?

** also someone could capture me in my cat form and bring me in?**

I sidled closer for a better look. A young woman and a young man walked out of a Building and towards people working on a wall. she began to yell out something and everyone picked up their pace. as I crept closer i heard a twig snap nearby. I glanced around to find a man with a crossbow aimed at me.

*ok i'm getting lonely here did everyone quit or what?*

I stared at the hunter growling low in my throat.The man couldn't seem to make up his mind wether to run or kill me so I made up his mind for him. I raised my hackles and snarled loud enough that I was sure the encampment could hear. Instantly, more hunters arrived. They surrounded me and kept thier crossbows aimed at me.one looked at me and said to the others

"look, there is a bag on her back"

Two of the men sidled closer to see if they could get it. I backed up and showed my teeth. They kept coming closer. I had two choices; try to fight until they backed off or I could shift and run. I choose to shift. As soon as I started to shift they started yelling. within moments I had shifted to my human form. They still surrounded me. I heard a noise to the right as I turned my head I saw a large wolf come to stand outside the circle of hunters.

Sam~

Sam's leg still hurt but she could hear the commotion in the woods and that's why she had came. She growled threatingly at the hunters, standing in front of the girl. She snapped at the closets one, sending him tumbling down the hill. "Get out of here unless you all want to be invited to tonight's dinner...and I don't mean as guests." She snarled. Three of the hunters steadied their bows. In a swift paw movement all three fell to the ground, knocked out. "Get!" She howled as the others shouted and ran.

"You okay?" She asked the girl, smiling.

the wolf protected me from the hunters. when she asked if I was ok i replied

"yes thanks for helping me" she gave a half smile and said

"come on let's head to the fort."

As I follwed her I realized that maybe all people weren't with my uncle Celixon. I knew i had to hurry to find the rebels in the mountain of dawning and i had to find the next true king.

History: JUst found about this rebels thing and it sound like theres gonna be alot of haflings there . . . so why not?

Rogue laughed, "I'm gonna meet some halflings, I'm gonna make some friends!"

He looked into the distance there was a girl riding a wolf following another woman, "O, maybe she's a halfling, maybe we can become friends!"

Rogue ran up to her and the wolf. He began to pat it, "You're a good looking thing aren't you, awe so wondeful, I wish I had a friend like you!"

Rogue laughed, "Good, can we be friends?" He looked the wolf in the eye.

We reached the fort with little hardship, the men opened the gate as soon as they saw the werewolf. Guess they know her I thought. I followed her to the wall that the people were repairing she told me to wait here as she ran towards a group of people. Instanting several forms began running towards me. I saw Lady Quinn and my mother. I laughed and cried along with them as we hugged each other.
