Kitlea stepped up."It's my fault." She said with a sigh. "I am not Caderst nor Galoup. So I don't know my way around yet. So please, spare us." Kitlea said partially lying. She wasn't Caderst nor Galoup. She didn't know what she was.

The Galoup wolves stared at them without once taking their eyes of either one and began growling.

"We might not get out of this without a fight." Mara whispered to her.

Sniffing the air again, Sanuya examined the strangers.

"My warriors will show you the way back to the border. Please pay more attention to the scent markers in the future. Should this happen again, I will not be so forgiving."

She beckoned with her head, and three fully-grown wolves separated themselves from the rest of the group, escorting the two Cadersts towards the border.

Hackles raised, she turned slowly to lead the remaining warriors back to the camp. Two intruders so far past the boundary did not bode well, and she particularly didn't like the way they had been nosing about, perhaps spying on her territory. She had been careful not to show any sign of weakness, but she knew that her pack was weak, and they had lost so many pups to the cold.... She remembered the time when they had been much stronger, until the sickness came. She sniffed sadly. Times were hard in the forest.

Kitlea was fully alert while the Galoup wolves escorted them back. As they crossed the border a wave of relief flooded over her. She looked back and saw the Galoup wolves studying her and Mara with slitted eyes.

Crashing through the trees, Sanuya headed for home, her fleet legs pushing her past her comrades. Prey scents found their way into her nose, but she forced herself to ignore them. Troubled thoughts came to her mind, as she remembered the war with the Caderst. There was not a wolf alive who didnt remember the horrible bloodshep that had taken place. Even the tiniest pups had memories of fighting wolves and the scent of fear. Some of them had even lost pups or parents to the Caderst. Sanuya thought of her own pup, snug in her den at home, and watched over by the beta female. Her mate had died just before the war, and her other two pups, leaving her with just the biggest. her heart ached as she remembered.

reaching the camp, the air was filled with the joyful cries of the returning party. Sanuya ignored it all and headed to her den.
