I melt the ice off her hand and cool my own hand before it can hurt her, setting my free hand on the side of her face, "S'okay. You can do that. It'll come back to you. I'll be here with you the whole time. I promise."

Faith

Scared, I tear up, "I...I don't know anything..." I cry, "I font know anyone..."

Just then, Jake runs in and starts hugging me, "Oh my hod, are you okay?"

Even more scared now, I pull back and look at him, frightened, "Who the hell are you...?"

Alex

I pull Faith gently into my arms and hug her, "Shh, it's alright. He's your friend."

Faith

I huh Alex, eyes closed as I cry.

Alex

I hold her close and rub circles in her back to comfort her, glancing at Jake, "Just give us a few minutes, please."

Faith

Jake hesitates before backing out, and I bury my face in Alex's shirt, sniffling.

Alex

I hold Faith close and hush her, wiping her face, "S'okay, baby. Everything's going to be alright."

Faith

I shake my head, "N-No...It's not"

Alex

I take her face in my hands and wipe her eyes again, "Yes, it is. We'll get through this. You'll remember. I promise."

Faith

I sigh and take a deep breath looking away.

Alex

I watch her before swallowing and kissing her forehead, keeping my arms around her. I promise.

Faith

I watch him and rest my head against his chest, calming myself.

Alex

I rest my chin atop her head, careful to avoid where she hit it, and close my eyes, sighing.

Faith

I swallow, "What if I don't remember?" I ask quietly.

Alex

I hesitate before answering, "Then we'll help you - me, your sister, and my brother... maybe even the kid that was just in here. We'll help you, and then we'll make new memories."
