I feel really bad that I haven't posted here in forever, but I/Alex didn't have a lot to contribute yet and then school and finals started deciding to eat my life. But now things might get moving again, so we can keep going, right? >.> <.< ...Right? So, for those of us who still want to do this (hopefully all of us), what exactly are we going to do next?
"We need not to be let alone. We need to be really bothered once in a while. How long is it since you were really bothered? About something important, about something real?"
Not really sure. For now, I know some of us are fighting monsters. There's something going on with Darcy and the Bloodletters, everyone knows now. Anton is suspicious of Nathaniel, and everyone is starting to form their own opinions.
Yeah, we should actually go over those again, just as a refresher... The ones that I remember: Nathaniel: Anthropophagi Alex: Fear Liáth Darcy: her father Miranda: Wolf beast monster (sorry, don't remember the name) Korina: Basilisk Anton: hellhound? Jaegar: ? John: ? Adam: ?
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin. ~Snape, AVPM
"You are the egg, you are the chrysalis, you are the progeny. You are the rot that falls from stars." ~Will Henry, on Typhoeus magnificum
Looking back in the profiles, Adam's was a Muc-sheilch, Miranda's was the Beast of Gévaudan, Jaegar didn't actually have a specific monster, and John was attacked by a Dobhar-chú.
I love profiles
Now, they're all monsters from their pasts, but they might not all be exactly fear monsters. Don't you think it'd be a little strange if they all had the same reaction to the monsters? I know Korina's not really afraid of the basilisk anymore, after all her visits with her sister, but she's definitely confused about how she should feel about it. Maybe a few of the others have also got over their fear monsters and when they meet them, have reactions more like anger or sadness or something? Just something to consider.
Maybe we should give them more personal challenges than just their monsters, too. Like how Korina's goal for this whole thing was to find someone, something, anything that could help her sister? Not all of the others were entirely motivated by their monsters.
