This is the main DT for the SB. Here you will make your characters, and we'll start right off with the first post in the SB when we've determined we have enough characters.

You can be Human, Elf, Half elf, Dwarf, Orc, half Orc, or something else that is the same size or smaller than a human. It must be an inteligent species, so nobody being some sort of beast

THE KINGDOMS OF ARTILDON: A BRIEF OVERVIEW

VESTAAL:

Vestaal is the domain of Humans. The cities therin are Muurnil, a port city on the continents west coast, River town, a trade city to the north-east,Fort Berikk, a Fortress at the norther tip of the Forest of Berikk, Buldenheim, a small central village on the river, Basstown, a small happy town by the lake, and the capitol, Vestalia, a big bustling city not far off the east coast. Here all kinds of characters breed, with all types of personalities and profesions. It is the most diverse kingdom in Artildon, which makes it a force to be reconed with. Men, again, have almost no stereotype among other races in Artildon, since they're so diverse.


KINGORE:

Noble land of the Dwarven Kings, the cities that fill it are the capital, Kindel, a monument to the masonry and smithing of the dwarves, Raad, a port city shares a gulf with Muurnil, and a few nameless vilages. The capitol is so vast that it covers an entire mountain range, inside and out. Dwarves are hearty, honorable, and tough people. They prefer the solidity of stone than the unpredictablility of nature. Dwarves are naturally strong, and smart with stone and ores. They rarely make friends in short time periods, but the friends they do have are very close.

RIALEM:

The ellegant realm of elves, Rialem has plenty of cities. They are Rialaad, the capitol, Port Rieln, a port city that bustles with trading activity, Euphorem, a city formed by nature so that elves may be happy there, and Magesteria, A small city surrounded by dense, mysterious forests. It is said to be where wizards train. Elves grow very old, and as such have alot of time to hone their skills with the longsword and bow. Their skill is famous, but they aren't as tough as Humans, Orcs, or Dwarves, making their armies particularly small. They are, however, natural magic users, though Humans and Dwarves have their own kind of magic. Elves, however, are normally better. They treasure nature and all that is warm and green.


GRAAK:

Graak, the home of Orcs, has no cities. Only nomadic tribes that constantly bicker and battle over territory. Of the tribes there are the Ilduur, the Dord, the Grungish, Grudaak, and the Kaadresh. The Ilduur are a warrior race, that train as a lifestyle. They are, although not as disciplined as other races, fairly disciplined as armies for orcs. The Dord are relatively good engineers, designing siege enginse and weapons that other races wouldn't be able to opperate. The Grungish are barbaric, but infamously cruel. Their tribesmen are trained to be immune to pain. They are so barbaric, that it costs them greatly in military numbers, since they keep killing eachother. The Grudaak are mostly goblins, a lesser orc, but more cunning. They often move accross dwarven and human lands, raiding carts and stealing and killing in the night from the shadows. Then there are the Kaadresh, the dark runesmiths of the Orcs. The dark magic they work is often corrupting, and warps their physical apearence greatly. The clan is small in number, but possibly the most feared by other races. ORCS MUST BE EVIL.


OVERALL SETTING:

The Orcs have been ushering threats to the dwarves and Humans, but didn't bother the elves on their island to the west. The threat was so great that war was declared. The Orc tribes have banned together to end the world of men, dwarves, and elves. They are a force to be reconed with. Will you join them? Or will you fight against them? it's up to you.
