I've seen good storybooks die one too many times because people ran out of ideas and just stopped writing. When a true writer runs out of ideas he doesn't give up, he just thinks up more ideas.
Speaking of ideas, what if Devlin and Estelle ran into Colin and Quick Silver when they get back to the cabin after running away from Dynamo? But that would still leave nothing for you to do until then, wouldn't it? At times like these, I find it best to have your character reflect on the events that just transpired so everyone else can have a better feel for his personality. That way you can have something to post while still biding your time until you meet up with other characters. Look at me, in all the posts that I've made so far only three have involved other player characters so far, and the rest have been about Dynamo killing happless NPCs. In a way, you've learned more about what kind of person Dynamo is from those posts about killing people than you did while he was talking with other characters. Just because your character is alone doesn't mean there's nothing for him to do. It's all a matter of figuring out something he can do on his own that's still interesting with the rest of the storybook.
